The life of a musician is a treacherous one. Many die from substance abuse, gunfire or even angry fans, whilst many, though seemingly a lot fewer, die of plain old age. There are some though, who have died from plane or helicopter crashes; many of whom are very well known and sad losses to the music industry. Here are the ten most famous. Ricky Nelson On December 31st, 1985, Rock & roll singer Ricky Nelson (45), five members of his Stone Canyon band, and his fiancée, were all killed when a fire broke out on board a DC-3 taking them...

The official start of summer comes later this month, but already children have died after being left unattended in hot cars, according to the nonprofit National Safety Council, drawing attention to an issue that kills an average of 37 children a year. The council released a report this month that says 742 US children died of heatstroke in vehicles between 1998 and 2017. Forty-two children died in these conditions in 2017, up from 39 the previous year. Just 21 states have laws regarding this issue, the report says; eight include the possibility of felony charges for individuals who deliberately leave...

Don't follow media narratives designed to divide us Tragedies happen all the time, but the tragedies last week left so many of us asking more questions than there are answers. In Louisiana, a black man was killed by white police officers while being subdued on the ground. In Minnesota, a black man was killed by a white police officer during a routine traffic stop over a broken tail light. In Texas, five police officers were killed by a black sniper during a Black Lives Matter demonstration in Dallas.
  • Oh Look, Here Are Six Times That Democrats Shamelessly Raised Funds From Tragedies

One of the more hypocritical attacks on Republicans trying to find answers about Benghazi is the accusation that it’s merely a fundraising campaign. Of course, Democrats would never use a tragedy to raise funds from the American people right? These six tragedies shamelessly used by Democrats to raise funds were probably an accident, right?

Democrats are good at a lot of things (that damage our country) but in particular they are very talented in the business of exploitation for political gain. The entire Democrat strategy can be summed up in one unguarded sentence uttered by Rahm Emanuel. You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. Democrats are ghoulish. It's hard for regular folks to understand the depths of their depravity because normal people are sad when tragedies happen. Those on the Left get gleeful. They even go so far as to wish tragedies on America in order to further their political gains. The...

Americans 'dealt with emotions better' after Sept 11 than other tragedies A new study has found Americans dealt with their anger and emotions better after September 11, than they did following President Kennedy's assassination. But many apparently still have to regain their sense of security as they balance new terror warnings with encouragement life will return to normal. Researchers have examined the effects of the attacks on public opinion from different angles. Michael Traugott, from the Institute of Social Research at the University of Michigan, said: "This is a lifetime marker for an entire generation, the same way Pearl Harbour...
