A Minnesota traffic stop turned deadly Wednesday evening as a police officer opened fire on a black driver. The victim, 32-year-old Philando Castile, died at a Minneapolis hospital, a family member told The Washington Post. Castile’s mother, Valerie Castile, told CBS Minnesota that her son had died at Hennepin County Medical Center. An aspiring rapper was shot and killed while filming a music video with other artists and friends at Foster Park on Chicago's South Side overnight. Four other people were wounded in the shooting. A Korean-American shopkeeper was beaten and stabbed by a gang of youths on September 21, 2015 outside the 55th Street Market in South Los Angeles. As many as seven people were shot overnight at a New Year's Eve party in the southwest Calgary neighbourhood of Killarney, including two people in critical condition, police say. Det.
