Thai police say a man they arrested over a deadly bombing at Bangkok's Erawan shrine is indeed the bomber, contradicting earlier statements. A police spokesman said the man - earlier named as Adem Karadag - was the figure in a yellow shirt seen on CCTV leaving a bag at the shrine. Thai police had earlier said neither of two men in their custody were the main suspects for the 17 August attack. The motive for the bombing, which killed 20 people, remains unclear.

Hamyd Mourad describes himself as a normal 18-year-old who lives with his parents, but on the day France was gripped by the Charlie Hebdo massacre, he became known as "the third suspect" - even though he was in class at the time of the shooting. The brother-in-law of one of the two gunmen turned himself in to police on Wednesday, horrified and baffled to hear his name circulating in the news and on social media, and he was released without charge on Friday evening, relieved but badly shaken. ...

Watch the video at link, starting at 52 secs. The female shown bent down next to the motorcycle (center screen) had exited the Kosher market along with the other hostages (there is another CNN video which shows her exiting the market along with other hostages). Note that all hostages were immediately collected at the black police van, except for the woman next to the motorcycle, dressed in beige top with black skirt and stockings with white/black shoes who fled the scene, exiting out the top right hand corner of the video. I believe the other woman next to the motorcycle...

New York Dems want to pass a bill that would limit a description of a suspect to identify suspects essentially by the clothes they wear only. Truly mind-numbing stupidity. NYPost reports the following: Cops might as well wear blindfolds if the City Council passes a bill that would let them use little more than the color of a suspect’s clothing in descriptions — or risk being sued for profiling, according to this provocative new ad (pictured) from the NYPD captains union. The ad asks, “How effective is a police officer with a blindfold on?” And the answer is not very,...

Todashev was killed by a federal agent while giving a statement on his role on Wednesday in Orlando, Fla. The man who was shot, Todashev, 27, allegedly attacked an agent with a...
