This shouldn’t upset anybody, right? Azealia decided to open up in her recent Playboy interview, and she showed no mercy, even saying how she hates the “fat white Americans” who make up “everything about this country.” Yikes! Azealia Banks, 23, has never been known to pull her punches when it comes to speaking her mind. And when she starts, you better duck because nobody is safe when she’s on a tear. In her brand new Playboy interview. By the end of it, the Broke With Expensive Tastes rapper takes aim at EVERYBODY: Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, and “fat white Americans” –...

video Keith Olbermann returned to ESPN tonight after a short suspension for a tweet last week that looked like he was being insensitive to Penn State students who raised millions to fight pediatric cancer.Olbermann likened Twitter to batting practice, where people are so eager to be “one of those screaming baseballs” flinging themselves at something outrageous without looking at the context. But he didn’t excuse himself in all this, saying, “I was not a victim here. I brought this on myself. This is my fault.”Olbermann saw a tweet from a Penn State fan, and didn’t know there was a link...

MIAMI, Fla. - An accidental cellphone call landed two Florida men in jail after their employer heard them discussing plans to steal and sell $8,000 in construction equipment, according to police. David Fanuelsen, 39, and Dean Brown, 22, remained in jail on Monday facing charges of felony grand theft. • Visiting US, (Israeli) President Rivlin says he won’t meet Obama

Rivlin is in New York to address the official Holocaust commemorations of the United Nations. His schedule includes meetings with African-American leaders and others. According to unsourced Israeli media reports, the White House invited Rivlin to a summit meeting with Obama in Washington. Israeli media outlets, including Channel 10 and the Ynet news site, have suggested the White House invitation was meant to embarrass Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was not invited to meet with Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry during his stay in Washington to address both houses of Congress in early March. Netanyahu was invited to...

My dearest wish is to one day have the pleasure of living in a small cabin in the frigid wilderness. There I will spend my nights covered in heavy wool blankets, eating smoked fish and dried fruit. Over time, my beard will grow to the point where I’ll be indistinguishable from a medium-sized woodland creature. The villagers I’ll come to know during my rare visits to town will call me “the wolfman,” not least because I will communicate solely by howling and scratching out messages with my clawlike fingernails. For now, I live in a big city, where such unconventional...

MONTPELIER (AP) >> Vermont is applying a fresh round of scrutiny to its contract with Jonathan Gruber, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology health economist who got into hot water for talking about what he called "the stupidity of the American voter." Vermont State Auditor Doug Hoffer has been reviewing the contract under which Gruber got paid $500 an hour and his assistants got $100 per hour. Hoffer said Friday Gruber provided insufficient documentation to support his invoices to the state. Hoffer said officials in Gov. Peter Shumlin's administration had been in close touch with Gruber throughout his work, but that...

RAND PAUL: If he runs to the right of Jeb Bush, he'll still be to the left of the rest of the party. So it may be a difficult spot to occupy. Look, I liked Governor Romney. I like him personally. I think he's a good person. I think he's a great businessman, but, you know, that's yesterday's news. He's tried twice.

Fresh pro-abortion talking points for a new year! Who said feminism was out of ideas? This time around, feminist writer and moral pygmy Amanda Marcotte is asserting that pregnancy is a disease, with abortion as the cure. In a recent piece for RH Reality Check entitled, “Nicki Minaj and the Inevitable Politicization of Celebrity Abortions,” Marcotte argued that women regret pregnancy – not abortion. Referencing singer Nicki Minaj, she urged that pregnancy is like “when you break your leg” and abortion is the “cast.” When the media reported on Minaj’s abortion as a teenager, they “perpetuate[d] abortion stigma,” Marcotte wrote....

The NYPD has reportedly spotted posts on social media calling for cop killings on New Year's Eve, following a period marked by an uptick in threats made against police officers. DNAinfo reports that gang members have taken to Twitter to make threats against cops, using hashtags like #wingsonpigs and #onlydeadcops. Some of these tweets call tonight "Kill A Pig Night" and "New Year's Eve Massacre 2014." The NYPD has been investigating a large number of threats made against the department recently, following the fatal December 20th shooting of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. DNAinfo reports that cops have arrested...

Sometimes pro-choice activists say things that show they are completely out of touch with reality. On my website Clinicquotes I have a collection of quotes from pro-choicers that show a stunning lack of logic or an almost delusional set of opinions. Here are ten statements made by pro-choicers that might make you shake your head: “The majority of women who abort do so because they know that the unwelcome child, born of constraint or misfortune, will be wounded in some unacceptable way. As Artemis [Greek goddess of hunting] might kill a wounded animal rather than allow it to limp along...

In mid-November, conservative news outlets posted multiple videos of Jonathan Gruber, an MIT health economist who worked on Romneycare and Obamacare, crediting the "stupidity" of American voters as one reason that the health law passed. The videos were not flattering for Gruber; Democrats have moved quickly to distance themselves. And, perhaps more consequentially, they have breathed new life into the Obamacare opposition effort. Today, the House Oversight Committee is holding a hearing with Gruber titled "Examining Obamacare Transparency Failures." ... Here'a a quick guide to who Jonathan Gruber is, why he's at the center of this controversy, and what it...
