See Map Here: http://www.afa.net/bigotrymap In 2007, and with that same nauseating arrogance that has come to define him, then presidential candidate Barack Obama duplicitously quipped, “I am absolutely convinced that culture wars are just so ’90s. Their days are growing dark.” Dark, indeed. America’s soon-to-be cultural-Marxist-in-chief would then spend the greater part of a decade waging war against our nation’s Judeo-Christian culture and heritage at levels, and in ways, unseen in our storied history. Today, his anti-Christian crusade continues unabated. In fact, and with less than two years left to complete his baleful conspiracy, this neo-pagan extremist has begun to...

A new intelligence assessment, circulated by the Department of Homeland Security this month and reviewed by CNN, focuses on the domestic terror threat from right-wing sovereign citizen extremists and comes as the Obama administration holds a White House conference to focus efforts to fight violent extremism. Some federal and local law enforcement groups view the domestic terror threat from sovereign citizen groups as equal to — and in some cases greater than — the threat from foreign Islamic terror groups, such as ISIS, that garner more public attention.”

This gem from John Nolte came across my Twitter feed the other day: “Met Brian Williams once in DC. Starting to wonder about that story he told me about saving all those hostages at Nakotami Plaza. Barefoot.” Brian Williams is a liar. I don’t mean that as an insult. He seems nice. I feel sorry for the poor sap. People who lie are called liars. Once you’re caught in a lie, or multiple lies as the case may be, your credibility is shot. You’re now open to ridicule and scorn. You can, and should apologize, as Williams has done, but...

Editors' note: this column was co-authored by Bob Morrison. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has taken Dr. Ben Carson’s name off their “list” of extremists. Isn’t that charitable? The idea that SPLC gets to sit in its comfortable offices and make lists of Americans to smear ought to be offensive. Liberals are forever re-living the horrors of Joe McCarthy’s “list-making,” but seem to have little problem with SPLC. Maybe that acronym for that outfit, SPLC, should stand for “Smearing Pro-Life Christians.” Dr. Carson is the very kind of person for whom SPLC was founded, or claims to have been founded....

I'm pleased to see that the Southern Poverty Law Center has come to its senses and apologized to Dr. Ben Carson, removing him from their "extremist" list. But they need to apologize to me too, since I'm still on their list, along with a number of other Christian leaders whom they have branded anti-gay extremists. To be sure, I have considered it a badge of honor to be on the SPLC's list, actually writing an article in 2012 thanking them for placing me in their elite category of "30 New Activists Heading Up the Radical Right." Several years ago, I...

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) apparently realized its primary goal, fundraising, was in danger by its placing of Dr. Ben Carson on its “Extremist File” list. But the apology it has issued is the least convincing pretense of remorse that I have ever seen. Our of 1248 words in the document, only 52 -- 4.1667% -- are an actual apology: In October 2014, we posted an “Extremist File” of Dr. Ben Carson. This week, as we've come under intense criticism for doing so, we've reviewed our profile and have concluded that it did not meet our standards, so we...

What is it about the Southern Poverty Law Center that drives leftists to murder? More information is coming in about the gunman who reportedly murdered three innocent Muslims in North Carolina yesterday, Craig Stephen Hicks.Hicks is a raging Progressive leftist who fed on a steady diet of liberal media. Then he killed people. #RuhRoh The guy who murdered innocent #Muslims is a radical athiest fan of #Progressive extremists @Maddow @splcenter http://t.co/iXGVSt1YCR— Progressives Today (@ProgsToday) February 11, 2015 Pajamas Media reports: A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, Craig Hicks, shows a consistent theme of...

The Southern Poverty Law Center has descended to the level of self-parody (though it has a lot of company on the left) with its posting of Dr. Ben Carson on its “extremist files†list. Dr. Carson, a world-renowned brain surgeon, has served as inspiration for generations of African-Americans, and was portrayed on screen by Cuba Gooding in the movie version of his autobiography Gifted Hands. But to SPLC, desperate to find targets and keep the donations coming in to support the lavish salaries of its executives, apparently no convoluted reasoning is too bizarre. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson rapidly ascended...

The White House has finally divulged the names of American Muslim leaders who met with President Obama this week, including Imam Mohamed Magid, who has advised the administration on formulating responses to incidents that Islamists consider offensive. After stonewalling journalists for two days about the names of the participants at the meeting Wednesday, the White House quietly attached the list of attendees to the end of its daily press briefing transcript Thursday evening. The guest list identified Imam Magid as a representative of the Adams Center, a large mosque in Sterling, Virginia. He has also served as president of the...

Human Events’ readers, in an online poll, recently voted billionaire financier George Soros “the single most destructive leftist demagogue in the country.” Here are the Top 10 Reasons George Soros Is Dangerous1. Gives billions to left-wing causes: Soros started the Open Society Institute in 1993 as a way to spread his wealth to progressive causes. Using Open Society as a conduit, Soros has given more than $7 billion to a who’s who of left-wing groups. This partial list of recipients of Soros’ money says it all: ACORN, Apollo Alliance, National Council of La Raza, Tides Foundation, Huffington Post, Southern Poverty...

Just returned from a very productive evangelization project in the Monadnock area. But I'm back. In the news, Patrick Vaughn, Legal Counsel for the American Family Association, correctly observes that, "The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) calls the American Family Association (AFA) a 'hate group' because AFA promotes traditional Biblical views on homosexuality and marriage. SPLC does not have a standard for who they label as a 'hate group.' They apply the label to whomever they want to dehumanize and attack." See here. The Southern Poverty Law Center has even included Mass Resistance in its list of hate groups because...

“It seems to me that in the gay community the people who should be running interference for NAM/BLA are the parents and friends of gays. Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what 13-, 14-, and 15-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world.” – Harry Hay, founder of the modern “gay rights” movement None of it matters: Neither common sense, nor an abundance of victim testimony, peer-reviewed studies, nor their own loathsome admissions and actions....

A prominent writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center was gunned down by two black males while hiking in Oakland, reports NBC Bay Area News:

David Ruenzel knew, better than most, about the white privilege that killed him. As a writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center, one of this favorite topics was rooting out racism. And how white racism is permanent. White racism is everywhere. And white racism explains everything. This mantra of the Critical Race Theory and the Southern Poverty Law Center applied to all white people because, even if they were not personally cracking the whips, or breaking the skulls, white people benefitted from a racist system that did all that — and a lot more. Ruenzel was writing about white privilege...

Once the grand jury makes its decision on whether to charge Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, members will go back to their everyday lives. KMOX News wanted to know about the safety of those jurors given the high-profile case and the strong emotions surrounding it. Washington University law professor Peter Joy says despite safeguards, no system is 100 percent fool-proof.

The head of Missouri's most visible KKK group claims his "Klanline" is being flooded with calls from prospective recruits angered by the continuing protests in Ferguson. "Missouri is definitely on fire right now," says Frank Ancona, the imperial wizard of the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. In the past the group made headlines by passing out fliers for a KKK neighborhood watch program, but Ancona tells Daily RFT the Ferguson protests are attracting a new wave hopeful hood-wearers. He says he's inducted 50 new members to the group's Missouri chapter this month, and numbers are up in...

U.S. Senate candidate Travis Childers made a naked play pandering for Chris McDaniel voters Thursday by signing the same FAIR anti-amnesty pledge as the Republican state senator. Childers is hoping the news overshadows the fact that the liberal noose of the Democrat Party remains securely tightened around his neck. Rabid McDaniel voters seized on the news, sending a tingle down their legs. Some attempted to make the leap that somehow it showed that Childers is more conservative than Thad Cochran, the Republican nominee, as if this one bit of news alone gave them the reason they needed to crossover.

If the Southern Poverty Law Center got one thing right in the report it released last week about the standoff involving ranting racist rancher Cliven Bundy, it’s this: Those who broke the law need to be held to account

The celebrating began before the coroner could collect the bodies of Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo, the Las Vegas patrol officers ambushed and executed while eating at a pizzeria last month. “The good news is, there are two less police in the world,” read an entry on the Facebook page for CopBlock.org. The post was visible for less than a day, but it attracted at least 6,300 likes and comments by the time the page’s administrators removed it. Jerad Miller — who along with his wife, Amanda, gunned down the Vegas police officers before dying during a shootout with police...
