CHARLOTTE - Rallies in Charlotte, Raleigh and across the country took place Friday, calling on the Boy Scouts of America to keep its current ban on gay membership. Next week in Texas, the National Council will vote on a resolution that would allow gay boys to join but not openly gay adults. Both are currently banned.
