Mitchell Moua, 25, pulled a gun on police who tried to arrest him on several warrants, and fled, police spokesman Tom Walsh said. Moua exchanged shots with officers through the rear window of the SUV with Wisconsin license plates before the chase ended about 11:30 a.m. when the SUV crashed into several cars at Seventh and Arcade streets, on the city's east side, Walsh said. The Moua was taken to Regions Hospital. Walsh said Moua was originally sought on several charges, including aggravated assault, false imprisonment and a federal warrant for a weapons violation.
