MSNBC host Al Sharpton’s apparent lack of preparation for his own show has become the stuff of legend, so much that now four volumes of his teleprompter flubs and incredible mispronunciations are now part of the Free Beacon annals. In this latest installment, Sharpton wrecks the names of such people as Ebola patient Nina Pham, quarterback Troy Aikman and actor Ray Romano, of animals like koalas (kola-cue?), and of general terms like waterboarding (waterboating), manhunts (manhoods), YouTube (UseTube) and asphyxia (asphema).

“I’d like to say sorry to the families of Aiyana Jones, Michael Brown, Eric Garner and I want to apologize to them for not being able to get justice for their loved ones who were murdered in cold blood. And in respect for the peaceful protest I want to say hands up, don’t shoot, black lives matter. That’s it your honor.” Michigan Live described the crime spree by the two men and their sentences. Photos of the victims are posted at MLive as well as photos of their killers yawning and making faces in court. “Bobbish, 17, and Kudla, 18,...

Milwaukee County Sheriff and conservative commentator David Clarke told Fox & Friends Thursday morning that the Justice Department’s likely decision not to pursue a civil rights case against Ferguson officer Darren Wilson was a vindication for the officer and an indictment of “race hustlers” like Attorney General Eric Holder and Reverend Al Sharpton. “The grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri got it right, Clarke said. “Officer Wilson has been exonerated. The thing I want to know is how does he get his reputation back?” Clarke reserved much of his ire for Sharpton. “I don’t expect anything intelligent to come out of...

I have some sad news, folks. Al Sharpton will not be appearing on Dancing with the Stars any time soon. Sharpton said so in comments earlier today addressing criticism that he and his organization goes to certain cities where tragedy has happened for the publicity. The reverend and MSNBC host said, “That’s exactly what we want.” He explained, “Part of the role of activists is to get your attention. You don’t see me on Dancing with the Stars. You see us dealing with social issues and to draw the attention to those issues.”

**SNIP** “It won’t help with the police unions, certainly,” said political consultant Hank Sheinkopf. “They don’t like Al Sharpton; never have. They see him as an enemy, and furthermore, they see him as a lawbreaker who owes millions of dollars in unpaid taxes.” “Politically, it is unfortunate that he seems to want to keep being identified with Sharpton so explicitly, given Sharpton’s reputation out there,” added Doug Muzzio of Baruch College. “So the mayor is, in a sense, being truthful to himself, but that not be the wisest thing politically.” Political experts pointed out that it is unlikely that Mayor...

Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell used a 'King Day' speech at a breakfast hosted by Al Sharpton to promote Obamacare. Burwell, who was one of two Obama administration officials to speak, asked attendees of the National Action Network breakfast to 'tell your neighbors and tell your friends' to sign up for health care insurance. 'In the spirit of Dr. King, we're asking you to help us again, in big ways and small,' Obama's health czar told the activist organization, calling on them to help HHS sign up as many African Americans as possible before the Feb. 15 close...

Protesters invoking Michael Brown and Ferguson burst into an auditorium at Harris-Stowe State University early Monday afternoon and briefly shut down a Martin Luther King Day celebration. The protesters and Harris-Stowe students later confronted one another outside the venue, as police converged on the area. Shortly before 1 p.m., as the King observance was in progress in the crowded auditorium, about two-dozen protesters came in waving an upside-down American flag and chanting "No Justice, No Peace." They took the stage, and as the crowd began filing out angrily, they used a microphone to accuse the university and the clergy who...

Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell promoted Obamacare “in the spirit of Dr. King” on Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, during a breakfast hosted by Al Sharpton. “African-Americans have the lowest life expectancy of any other race in this country,” Ms. Burwell said in a speech to the National Action Network, The Hill reported. But “thanks to the Affordable Care Act,” she said, “7.8 million African-Americans with private insurance now have access to expanded preventative services with no cost sharing.” Ms. Burwell’s speech comes as HHS ramps up its efforts to insure people ahead of next month’s

Boyle asked “What can the Tea Party do to fight back against the Al Sharpton’s and the Jesse Jackson’s of the world” who revel in race baiting and racially dividing this country? “The first thing is we have to go after them,” said the author of The Big Black Lie and Sexy Brilliance. “We gotta go after them like Muhammad Ali went after Sonny Liston. We are not going to let them have the bully pulpit. We have to call the people who support them what they are. ‘You are supporting terrorism’ if you donate money to Sharpton, Sony, Target...

Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio is not distancing himself from Rev. Al Sharpton anytime soon. De Blasio’s office announced on Saturday he will be giving a speech on Monday at the National Action Network’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Policy Forum. The event is taking place in Manhattan.

“In the time of Staten Island and Ferguson,” Sharpton said, “to have one of the most shutout Oscar nights in recent memory is something that is incongruous. The only category we’re well represented is in the best picture nomination and it’s a movie about blacks being shut out of society. And now we’re shut out of Hollywood.”

NYC Mayor de Blasio has yet to publicly confirm his attendance at Al Sharpton’s annual forum Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day....raising questions about whether the Mayor might distance himself from the reverend. de Blasio faced intense criticism from police union leaders, and hasn’t been seen publicly with Mr. Sharpton, a frequent police critic. Last year, de Blasio announced Rachel Noerdlinger, former Sharpton aide, as chief of staff to Mrs. de Blasio. de Blasio gave his wife total control of the multi-million dollar "Mayor's Fund." Noerdlinger has since left after objections about her live-in--- a man w/...

Martin Luther King Jr.’s accomplishments include being one of the most revered civil rights leader in history. Al Sharpton’s accomplishments include dodging taxes and being really awful at reading a teleprompter. But that didn’t stop Geraldo Rivera from comparing the two men on Bill O’Reilly’s show. O’Reilly had him on to discuss Fox poll numbers that suggest that, overall, Americans are not fond of the Rev. “Al Sharpton’s constituency really likes him a lot. He is the man for the black civil rights movement right now,” Rivera replied. “It’s sad that a shakedown artist tax cheat can be put in...

NBC’s Al Sharpton, President Obama’s go-to man on race and the ring-leader behind the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown race hoaxes, is furious over the Oscar nominations and has called for an emergency meeting in Hollywood to extort money address the issue. “The movie industry is like the Rocky Mountains, the higher you get, the whiter it gets,” America’s top tax-cheat declared, ” I have called an emergency meeting early next week in Hollywood with the task force to discuss possible action around the Academy Awards.” Because Sharpton and Obama never fail to work in tandem, the President is hosting...

By the tone and tenor of the reaction to the recently announced Academy Award nominations, you would think that old Jim Crow himself had been resurrected and is stalking the land. No black actors are up for best actor or supporting actor. The film "Selma" - which some historians claim is horribly inaccurate - was "snubbed" (although nominated as Best Picture) as was the film's female director. The reason? 97% of Academy voters are white and 75% are men. Case closed, right? It is - if you live your life looking at reality through a prism of race and gender....

The Rev. Al Sharpton was left fuming mad after the Oscars revealed its all-white list of nominees for this year's Oscar awards on Thursday. "The movie industry is like the Rocky Mountains, the higher you get, the whiter it gets," Sharpton quipped in a statement released later in the afternoon. Sharpton, a critic of the lack of diversity in Hollywood, also announced he was holding an "emergency meeting" next week to address the issue. "I have called an emergency meeting early next week in Hollywood with the task force to discuss possible action around the Academy Awards," he said.

A White Al Sharpton?? My first thought is a question, “Would he be invited to the White House multiple times?”

Obama dispatched Valerie Jarrett in 2008 to woo the reverend. Near the end of 2007, Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett met with Al Sharpton in New York City and began to cement a relationship that would eventually make the inflammatory activist the president’s “go-to man” on race, according to multiple sources. The backdrop to the incipient Obama-Sharpton alliance was the then-senator’s 2008 presidential campaign, which still hadn’t locked away the black vote, and the political cross-currents created by two other controversial reverends, Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright. That tentative relationship has now grown into a full-blown partnership that has vastly increased...
