A Texas state Senate committee has taken the next step in the process of getting a ban on late-term abortions in place in Texas. The panel approved the House-backed bill to stop abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. WASHINGTON: The US Senate has approved a long delayed $305 million aid package for Pakistan, including a controversial provision of $50 million for purchase of military equipment.
