It now has the Republicans leading the Democrats in the generic congressional ballot for the first time in more than a year. The Ds led the Rs by 10 as recently as December 18. Meanwhile, President Trump’s job approval rating shot up in this poll, to 47% approve vs. 47% disapprove. Rep. Adam Schiff announced Democrats will not honor President Trump’s request to revise their rebuttal to a GOP memo accusing the Justice Department and FBI of surveillance abuses. “We’re not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we’d like to keep those to a minimum,” the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Tuesday. The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said the FBI is being too heavy handed in redacting information included in a memo that Democrats compiled to offer a point-by-point rebuttal of a GOP memo released earlier this month. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) suggested the FBI is using too much red ink to try to block any new information in the memo from being made public. "The FBI has identified in the memo, in our response, essentially everything that isn't already a matter of public record that wasn't already declassified," Schiff told reporters during a breakfast sponsored by the Christian...

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, is not going to fully heed the White House's request to revise the Democratic rebuttal to the FISA memo. That four-page memo, authored by Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA), detailed how the FBI violated FISA when seeking warrants to spy on Trump campaign members. They reportedly used an unsubstantiated dossier tying then-candidate Trump to the Kremlin. President Trump said the Republican document vindicated him from claims he colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. Democrats, however, attempted to release their 10-page rebuttal, insisting it included context the Republicans...

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said Tuesday night that members of his party won’t revise their countermemo, despite requests from the White House to do so. “We’re not going to make any revisions to it. The only question is what redactions will be made. And obviously we’d like to keep those to a minimum,” Schiff told reporters. “The White House has a different interest. I think their interest is in redacting anything that doesn’t reflect well on the White House,” Schiff added.

It was all too transparent. It was more predictable than day following night. Following the release of the Republican memo, democrats went berserk. They swore they were going to release their own memo. Everyone knew what was coming- they were going to set a trap for Trump. https://twitter.com/johnrobertsFox/status/960919862125133824?They were going to send Trump a memo that revealed all sort of classified and sensitive material. And that's exactly what happened. All that raises eyebrows among some Republicans on Capitol Hill who have read the Democratic memo. They say it contains much more classified information than the Republican memo did. The GOP...

The Evening Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) It was just another crazy week, but then, that could be said about every week over the last two and a half years, since Donald J. Trump and his lovely wife Melania rode the gold-plated escalator to the first floor of Trump Tower to announce his run for the presidency. Here’s a brief review of the highlights of what the country has experienced over the last seven days. The week began with release of the FISA Abuse Memo and the fake media/Democrat campaign to try to diminish the importance of that...

RUSH: Folks, we’re loaded again today with some really powerful, important and genuinely hilarious stuff, such as Pencil Neck being scammed by a bunch of Russian comedians falling for a routine that they claimed that they had nude photos of Trump that they had given to Putin. And Schiff tried everything he could to track it down, and we’ve got it all on audio. It’s absolutely wonderful. This stuff has been known for 10 or 12 months. The reason it’s coming out now is because of his stupid little memo. Somebody on our team is really playing good offense here....

Washington (CNN)House Democrats sounded the alarm Tuesday about their Republican counterparts planning to interview a "confidential informant" for the Uranium One probe. A letter from Reps. Elijah Cummings and Adam Schiff, the top Democrats on the House Oversight and Intelligence committees, respectively, to the GOP chairmen of those committees said Republicans have been in contact with the informant for months without allowing Democrats access. The Democratic pair further said the Justice Department has already expressed to members of the committees that they had "serious credibility concerns" with the informant, and the two requested Democrats receive a transcript of the expected...

Congressional Democrats have blasted House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes and President Trump for releasing a memo detailing alleged government surveillance abuse—but just a few years ago, the same Democrats called for more transparency from the secret court process in question. Notably, ranking Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff -- who fought the release of the GOP-backed memo and described it as a danger to national security -- made a 2013 appearance on Russian television news station RT calling for transparency in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act system. Schiff said in 2013 that the FISA court needed to be “much more transparent...

Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, was pranked last year by Russian comedians who offered nude photos of President Trump. Schiff cautioned the man that “our Russian friends” could be eavesdropping on the call, and told him not to share anything he wouldn’t want them to hear. But the man went on to say that the Russians had “pictures of naked Trump” Schiff then told the man that his office would work with FBI to figure out “how we can obtain copies.” The California Democrat, however, had actually been speaking with Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey...

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff (Calif.) discussed his push for making the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court more transparent in 2013 on the Kremlin-funded media outlet RT, a channel he has since criticized for being a Russian propaganda network. Schiff's RT interview on July 31, 2013, came on the heels of former NSA contractor Edward Snowden's massive leak of classified information on U.S. surveillance systems and methods, touching off an explosive debate on privacy and security and whether Snowden was a whistleblower or a traitor. Schiff discussed his proposed FISA reforms in an eight-minute interview. "I think they'll have the cumulative...

A few moments ago Senator Chuck Grassley released an updated version of his memo which substantiates his prior Criminal Referral, against Christopher Steele, to the Department of Justice. Last Friday Chairman Grassley asked FBI Director Chris Wray to remove the prior redactions and declassify the underlying supportive documents; known as the “Grassley Memo”. FBI Director Wray did not remove all redactions; but did remove most. Here is the newest version (pdf link here):

"""As DOJ Prosecutor, Adam Schiff Was Accused of Covering Up Evidence to Help Prosecute FBI Agent in Shady Russian Spy Case""" Adam Schiff has been carrying the water for the Deep State for decades. Let’s travel back to 1990 when Adam Schiff was working as a federal prosecutor for the Justice Department who was hell bent on prosecuting a FBI Agent for “espionage” which by today’s standards would look like a weak shoplifting case. Schiff was chasing FBI Agent Richard Miller for trading a secret FBI manual to the Soviet Union for sex, money and a Burberry trench coat. Yes,...

The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee was the victim of a prank phone call by Russian comedians who offered to give him 'compromising' dirt on Donald Trump – including nude photos of the president and a Russian reality show star. DailyMail.com can disclose that after the prank, his staff engaged in correspondence with what they thought was a Ukrainian politician to try to obtain the 'classified' material promised on the call. On an audio recording of the prank call posted online, Adam Schiff can be heard discussing the committee's Russia investigation and increasingly bizarre allegations about Trump with...
