Limbaugh Tells Fox News Dems Trying to 'Steal' Private Sector The conservative radio talk show host blasted the Democrats' health care bills as a front that would steal money from American businesses and effect the partial takeover of the private sector. Health care reform legislation being pushed through Congress represents the "biggest snatch of freedom and liberty" in U.S. history, Rush Limbaugh tells "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace in an exclusive interview to air this Sunday. The conservative radio talk show host blasted the Democrats' health care bills as a front that would steal money from American businesses and...

When MSNBC gave Ed Schultz a nightly segment entitled "Psycho Talk," it was apparently in obedience to the truth in advertising laws. On Thursday night, the low-rated host of "The Ed Show" used that segment -- which is supposed to highlight over-the-top rhetoric from conservatives -- to call Rush Limbaugh "a racist, pill-poppin' radio guy." Schultz was outraged that Rep. Steve King, R-IA, had asked NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to apologize to Rush Limbaugh for denying Rush partial ownership of the St. Louis Rams while allowing Jennifer Lopez and Fergie to become co-owners of the Miami Dolphins after worse...

In an October 28, 2009 House Judiciary Committee hearing, Congressman Steve King questions NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on comments he made regarding Rush Limbaugh. VIDEO Rush's Response to Commissioner Goodell's Answer: Of course, Goodell's a total weasel. He had no answer about the Dolphins' owners so wouldn't even address the question, and he got on his high horse about how McNabb is a fine player and a fine person and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin, when I (a) never said he was not a fine person; (b) never said he was a bad QB...

Don’t you hate it when everyone in the room gets a joke and you don’t? And because you don’t get it, you end up becoming the joke itself? Let's say, hypothetically, someone was to make a disparaging statement about Fox News and conclude as a news outlet it is way outside of mainstream political thought. Well, then the follow-up appropriate question could be where does that put Fox News' competitors who get just a fraction of the cable news juggernaut's ratings? Michael Wolff, a contributing editor and columnist Vanity Fair and CNBC regular, told MSNBC's "Hardball" host Chris Matthews on his Oct. 26 program the White House strategy was to marginalize Fox News the same way conservatives once did to liberals, making "liberal" a word with negative connotations....

A petition to the Federal Communications Commissioner (FCC) to investigate popular conservative commentators such as Rush Limbaugh for purported "hate speech" has caused a stir among Catholic circles after it was revealed that the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' (USCCB) communications office is backing the initiative. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, I must admit to watching your remarks before and during the New England Patriots-Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game in London with great interest. Obviously you were playing goodwill ambassador, putting the National Football League's best face forward for the international audiences, but it was also with some disgust that I know of the other face you were trying to hide. As there is a time and a place, the desired appearance is that all is well between the fans and the NFL. However, you seemed to get off scott-free in claiming that a man (Rush Limbaugh)...

[UPDATE: I just learned that the Obama thesis is a hoax. The second quote below is real, however. For more on the thesis hoax, click here.] Back in 1982, when Barack Obama was at Columbia University, he wrote a thesis called “Aristocracy Reborn,” the first ten pages of which — and only the first ten pages of which — Joe Klein, of Time magazine, was permitted to see. Here’s a passage from “Aristocracy Reborn”: … the Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing. The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom....

As an intellectual and sophisticated man of advanced education and refinement, President Obama should know better than to believe press clippings originating with the leftist media. An experienced political professional intent on playing on the world stage should also be able to accept criticism and dissent without unraveling to the point of utter distraction. The tactic of bashing Rush Limbaugh and conservative talk show hosts to score political points is apparently no longer the exclusive realm of national-level Democrats and moderate Republicans. Now, even local politicians are adopting this political maneuver in their local campaigns. Rush talks about the fact that Obama's White House is already "throwing under the bus" Democrat candidate for Virginia Governor Creigh Deeds. Let me first apologize to Rush Limbaugh. Last week in explaining why NFL commissioner Roger Goodell needed to put an end to Limbaugh's latest publicity stunt, I attributed racially insensitive quotes to Limbaugh that I read in two Missouri newspapers, saw on CNN and confirmed through a Google search. Prior to posting the article, I never found a denial of these quotes by Limbaugh, and had no reason to believe those statements were not true. It was unfair to Limbaugh. And I regret that. I've commented on some of his earlier controversies. I've long been an admirer of his broadcasting...

The president has learned it's easier to burn bridges than build them. And despite having been elected in part to unify all Americans and put an end to partisan division, the administration is intent on lighting as many fires as it can. In doing so, Obama is essentially creating a liberal version of Richard Nixon's "Enemies List." We knew the White House would consider Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Bill O'Reilly as enemies. Taking on an entire cable news outlet (and its viewers), insurance companies, and the United States Chamber of Commerce, however—and to launch these attacks proactively—is another, riskier...

[You can view this revision here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Rush_Limbaugh&diff=prev&oldid=277367]Rush Limbaugh is an American conservative radio and television talk show host. His shows are discussions primarily of politics from a conservative point of view; he does not pretend to be giving an unbiased view of the facts, i.e., his shows are presented as commentary on the news, though much news is presented along with the commentary. Many progressive and liberal critics decry the lack of a balance between liberal and conservative viewpoints on Limbaugh's shows. Rush Limbaugh's radio show is best described as an extended editorial on current news stories. Limbaugh's response to...

As if we needed more validation that liberals have no understanding of how business works, the White House has decided to deploy its resources to launch a comprehensive war against the Number One Enemy of the State, Fox News Network. Learning nothing from the Harry Reid v Rush Limbaugh debacle, Obama has announced a hawkish anti-Fox surge. The ostensible mission is to degrade Fox News for it’s inexorable refusal to genuflect to the Narcissist in Chief. To the irascible commander in chief’s shock and awe, Fox thoughtlessly allows commentators to impugn Obama’s policies.

Here is video of Rush Limbaugh today saying the Obama Administration has "gone far beyond what Richard Nixon even comtemplated" in his dealings with the media. Rush said Obama is attempting to "silence" individual reporters and an entire network. Obama is doing so from a position of being the darling of the mainstream media.
