Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas speaks to potential supporters at the Londonderry Fish and Game club in Litchfield, N.H., Sunday, April 19, 2015. (AP Photo/Mary Schwalm) This Ted Cruz ad featuring Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson is what I like to see in a primary ad. Which is to say, it presents the candidate in a positive and entertaining light, while doing nothing that could turn around and bite another candidate in the rear in the general election. The short version: Phil Roberston lists his criteria for a good Presidential candidate. He then tells you that Ted Cruz fits...

VIRGINIA BEACH Republican presidential contender Jeb Bush wanted to talk issues during a visit to Hampton Roads on Friday but also had to explain why his campaign was slashing spending. At Regent University, Bush acknowledged that the strong showing by real estate executive Donald Trump has led him to make deep campaign spending cuts, including trimming payroll by 40 percent and slashing travel. "The circumstances when we started the election were different," said Bush, who had accumulated one of the largest campaign bank accounts but has been lagging behind Trump and a few other candidates in most state and national...

Reports: WaPo's Jason Rezaian convicted in Iran http://t.co/8H5bVnPY5K | AP Photo pic.twitter.com/D1MH9fICXI  — POLITICO (@politico) October 12, 2015 For people who might not have followed the story as it unfolded there’s an easier explanation for why Iran is holding Jason Rezaian.  The underpinning is Iran knowing the U.S. State Department and CNN collaborate to use media as a tool to advance U.S. foreign policy objectives. In December 2014 CNN ran and episode of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown filmed in Iran. It seemed innocuous at the time, yet as with all things Turner Broadcasting, it also seemed to be another set...

KYIV, February 20 /Ukrinform/.The idea of nuclear disarmament has failed and led to a selective reduction of the nuclear arsenal in the world, and, as a result, Ukraine received guarantees that are not performed in exchange for unilateral disarmament. Former Secretary General of NATO [1999-2004] and Secretary of State for Defence and Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland George Robertson expressed this opinion in his article for Herald Scotland, an Ukrinform correspondent reported. "I started my own political career, as many people know, carrying a Ban the Bomb banner. By giving up the Bomb I believed that we would give...

THE WISDOM OF KNOWING YOUR ENEMY "In the years preceding World War I, General Pershing was commander of the American forces in the Philippines. The small Moslem community on the island nation began to wreak havoc against the Philippine government and American forces. The American troops captured a large group of these terrorists. During the interrogation by the Military Court, the fanatics were heard to repeatedly shout, 'Allah Achbar! Allah Achbar! Jihad! The Philippines are the lands of Islam!' "Pershing ordered the Amalekites executed one by one in the presence of the whole group. (The author is referring to ...

At the candidate debate tonight [Democrat Martha Robertson] accused [Republican Tom Reed] of being part of the War Against Women. She actually used the phrase “you’re part of the War against Women.” The crowd laughed so hard, Robertson had to ask for more time. This video clip is being circulated and who knows, may go viral.

AARP is calling out (Democrat congressional candidate Martha) Robertson for improperly using AARP’s name in her ads, violating AARPs non-partisan status and falsely implying that AARP has taken sides in the race.... Beth Finkel, state director for AARP in New York, issued a statement after learning of its name and logo appearing in the Ithaca Democrat’s campaign ads in the race for the 23rd Congressional District seat currently held by U.S. Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning. “AARP does not endorse candidates or make contributions to political campaigns or candidates,” Finkel said. “AARP did not authorize the use of its name or...

Duck Dynasty’s Missy Robertson said there “definitely” is spiritual warfare at play in some of the criticism and attacks made against the popular, pro-family program and its Bible-Christian patriarch Phil Robertson, remarking that “a lot of people want to keep us quiet” but “we’re not going to be quiet” and “we’re not going to be bullied.”

A startling video has emerged showing Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson unleashing another homophobic rant - just months after the TV show's network suspended him for a similar tirade. Robertson was filmed giving an Easter Sunday sermon at Whites Ferry Road Church in his hometown of West Monroe, Louisiana on April 20, according to the video on YouTube. In the footage, the 68-year-old expresses his anger at the outcry over his December interview in GQ magazine, in which he likened homosexuality to bestiality and branded gay people sinners. 'They were mad at me,' he tells the congregation in the video....

Pat Robertson: Creationists 'Deaf, Dumb, and Blind' by Brian Thomas, M.S. * Television minister Pat Robertson said on the May 13 episode of CBN's 700 Club, "The truth is, you have to be deaf, dumb, and blind to think that this earth that we live in only has 6,000 years of existence."1 The eight staff doctorates at the Institute for Creation Research, and the many other biblical creation scientists who agree with their position, might like to know what they supposedly haven't heard, don't understand, and haven't seen.2 Robertson was responding to a letter that asked, "I've heard arguments from...

A local congressional candidate now says she will not be hiring a cyber-security firm to look into claims that someone hacked her campaign’s website. The situation started in September, 2013, when Democrat Martha Robertson’s campaign sent an e-mail out to supporters claiming “GOP ops” were trying to hack their website. In early October, the Robertson campaign backed off the “GOP ops” claim during an interview with WETM, but presented evidence showing there were multiple “SQL injection” attacks made on the website. And during an interview with the political site Roll Call, Robertson state the campaign was looking into hiring a...

Hollywood execs and radical activists thought they could silence 'Duck Commander' Phil Robertson's religious beliefs when they suspended him from his A&E show. But all they did was increase the public's knowledge of and respect for Robertson and his remarkable family's values. And now we see those Americans also bought Robertson's book -- in massive numbers.Robertson, who was suspended by A&E for espousing his religious views -- before being rehired following a massive viewer backlash, saw sales of his book "Happy, Happy, Happy" explode after the 'controversy' hit the national news."Happy" was originally released this past May -- and had...

As we reported the other day, CNN and the the Huffington Post have tried to invent a new phony controversy, by taking a humorous relaying of marriage advice to a teenager in 2009 video of Phil Robertson ridiculously out of context. The Robertson Family are no strangers to vicious attacks and smears from the Left, but no family member has yet gone on the record to specifically speak out on behalf of their patriarch. Until now. Phil's oldest son, Pastor Alan Robertson, recently spoke to The Christian Post about his dad, stating he was standing up for Christian values in his comments...

Very entertaining video clip that shows a side of ‘Duck Commander’ Phil Robertson that many don’t know: when he was teammates with future NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw. (I had no idea, not being a DD-watcher until recently) VIDEO LINK

GLAAD needs a makeover. Their Queer Eye for Straight Guy Phil Robertson blew up in their face. Just ask A&E. Not since the young Vito Corleone persuaded landlord Signor Roberto’s to “walkback” his decision to evict the poor widow and her dog (“and the dog stays, right?”) has a business decision been reversed as abruptly, awkwardly or hilariously. We can only wonder what Phil Robertson’s version of “and the dog stays, right?” sounded like to the hat-holding and stuttering A&E executives. “Who put a book by that filthy f*ggot on my shelf!” snarled Che Guevara (subject of a History Channel...

The family-owned business at the center of the hit TV-show "Duck Dynasty" has launched its own line of guns. The gunmaker Mossberg has teamed with Duck Commander, the company owned by "Duck Dynasty's" Robertson clan, to release nine different shotguns, as well as two semiautomatic rifles and a semiautomatic pistol. Mossberg has begun shipping some of the shotguns to distributors, according to spokeswoman Linda Powell. She declined to name specific retailers that will carry them. Duck Commander was founded 40 years ago by Phil Robertson, the family patriarch who was recently suspended -- and then reinstated -- by A&E after...
