Washington (CNN)The Democratic National Committee is suing the Republican National Committee for aiding GOP nominee Donald Trump as he argues that the presidential election is "rigged," claiming that Trump's argument is designed to suppress the vote in minority communities. The suit, filed Wednesday in US District Court in New Jersey, argues that the RNC has not sufficiently rebuked Trump for the line of attack, which he has used as a rallying cry and is assumed to be a way to explain away a potential loss on Election Day.

Are you aware of the 1982 Consent Decree between the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Democratic National Committee (DNC)? If you’re not, don’t be alarmed, most others don’t know about it either. Even if you’re a political junkie, it’s unlikely that you’ve been aware of the Consent Decree and what it means to voters – particularly Republican voters. So you might say, I sometimes vote Republican, so what’s that mean to me? It means that many well-informed, politically active Republicans (like you, perhaps?) could have their votes cancelled out by democrat voter fraud and, thanks to the RNC; our...

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus accused the State Department on Wednesday of delaying its response to the National Archives’ request for information about why it has only found a few emails belonging to a staffer who helped maintain Hillary Clinton’s private server.  The RNC chairman even seemed to suggest the delay was part of an intentional effort to protect Clinton during the run up to the 2016 presidential election. Documents obtained by ABC News reportedly show the National Archives sent a request to the State Department in July that asked for an explanation about the lack of emails from Clinton’s top IT aide Bryan Pagliano. The...

With so much stacked against him, can Donald Trump pull off a miracle and actually win this election? Right at this moment, things are looking quite grim for the Trump campaign. Following the release of the lewd audio tape, six women have come forward and have accused him of doing the exact sorts of things that he admitted to on that tape, and the mainstream media is going after him with all they've got. Of course the Clintons have done far worse things than Trump has, and that is the case that Trump must make to the American people in...

Several of the Republican Party’s most generous donors called on the Republican National Committee on Thursday to disavow Donald J. Trump, saying that allegations by multiple women that Mr. Trump had groped or made inappropriate sexual advances toward them threatened to inflict lasting damage on the party’s image. To an elite group of Republican contributors who have donated millions of dollars to the party’s candidates and committees in recent years, the cascade of revelations related to Mr. Trump’s sexual conduct is grounds for the committee to cut ties with the party’s beleaguered standard-bearer, finally and fully. “At some point, you...

In 2008 and 2012, the Republican National Committee spent millions on TV ads supporting its nominees or savaging their Democratic rivals. In 2016, it has spent $0 on commercials boosting Donald Trump, according to a new analysis by Politico. The RNC did spend $321,000 on attacking Hillary Clinton — last fall, before Trump had emerged as the party’s standard-bearer.

@JackPosobiec SCOOP: The DC Beltway is livid at Trump today. House staffers are telling me they all actually thought Trump would drop out this weekend RNC leaders were telling members that after the tape leaked that Trump would drop out so they all needed to unendorse him first So now its chaos, members were told Trump was dropping and Pence was taking over so that's why so many publicly attacked Trump But now Trump is staying in, and after his strong debate performance and solid support levels they are worried they just screwed themselves The establishment plan was Pence would...

The Republican Party planned to divert funds away from its presidential candidate Donald Trump and instead focus on down-ballot candidates, according to a party official informed of the decision, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday. That meant the party planned to try to mobilize voters to support its House and Senate candidates even if those voters intended to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, a marked shift in its previous strategy, the report said.

Heard on @Cernovich that the RNC is denying funds to the Trump campaign...funds he helped raise. RNC is inserting moles, purging Trump loyalists, and attempting to sabotage his campaign. Also, @Cernovich states that Ryan's henchmen had a part in the Trump tape. â€@Cernovich RAISE HELL WITH THE RNC AND PUT THEM ON NOTICE!!!!

“Nothing has changed in regard with our relationship,” RNC Chairman Reince Priebus reportedly stated during a phone call with members of the RNC Monday afternoon. “We are in full coordination with the Trump campaign. We have a great relationship with them. And we are going to continue to work together to make sure he wins in November.”

Over the weekend CNBC learned a page on Facebook called Vote Out Every Republican That Opposes Trump was created, and members like Diana Orrock, Republican National Committeewoman for Nevada, are promoting the page in their status posts encouraging followers not to vote for the candidates who they feel have abandoned the GOP presidential nominee. "As national committeewoman, I am supposed to keep my personal beliefs to myself, but I have never been a party-over-principles type of person. I have always been a principles-over-party individual," she said. "I am no longer endorsing Joe Heck in the Senate race," explained Orrock. "How...

The (RNC) is standing fully behind Donald Trump, chairman Reince Priebus said Monday in a private conference call. Speaking to the 168 members of the RNC, Priebus sought to squash rumors that the national party would cut the nominee loose to focus on protecting GOP majorities in the House and Senate, according to sources on the call. Trump is running a bare-bones campaign that is overly reliant on staff from the RNC, and a reallocation of resources to down-ballot races would effectively doom his campaign. Down-ballot Republicans have begun signaling they’ll be run parallel campaigns that are untethered from the...

The son of the Moral Majority founder and the president of Liberty University told WABC radio host Rita Crosby shortly after Sunday’s presidential debate that Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R.-Wis.) and other Republican leaders used the recently released lewd tape of Donald J. Trump to execute a push against the GOP nominee for president. “I think this whole tape… video tape thing was planned, I think it was timed, I think it might have even been a conspiracy among establishment Republicans who have known about it for weeks and who tried to time it to do the maximum damage to...

All the Republicans who are coming out against Trump obviously want Clinton to win. We need to send them a message that it is the REPUBLICANS who will be blamed for the continuing destruction of this country. And the Republican elites SHOULD be blamed if there is a Clinton win.

Clinton operatives, alleged to be working in conjunction with the Washington Post, released a brief audio tape from eleven years ago that captures Donald Trump in some unsavory locker-room banter that included a reference to grabbing a certain part of the female anatomy. Multiple sources have now indicated this tape’s release was initiated weeks earlier, and that both House Speaker Paul Ryan and GOP Chair Reince Priebus, had been made aware of its intended use – and then failed to notify the Trump campaign, making them complicit in the Clinton Machine’s intent to harm the Trump campaign.

The Republican National Committee on Saturday appeared to at least temporarily halt the operations of some of the “Victory” program that is devoted to electing Donald Trump. The move comes as the GOP nominee is under mounting pressure from elected Republicans to step aside after he was caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women. In an email from the RNC to a victory program mail vendor, with the subject line “Hold on all projects,” the committee asked the vendor to “put a hold” on mail production. “Please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now. If something is...

Donald Trump is kicking his #NeverTrump Republican rival John Kasich to the curb in the state of Ohio and consolidating his power among activists on the ground. Trump quietly won an important battle — with the help of the Republican National Committee — to seize control of the Ohio ground game from Kasich’s state party. Now, Kasich’s headline-making gripes about Trump are only serving to marginalize the sitting governor among Republicans.
