A new video shows college students embracing the pro-abortion “BroChoice” campaign that says abortion should remain legal so men can enjoy sex without consequences like taking care of a baby or paying child support. Last week, pro-abortion blogger Ben Sherman explained the #brochoice movement, saying that if abortion isn’t readily accessible, especially in his state of Texas, men’s sex lives are at stake. It was the ultimate form of male-chauvinism, yet NARAL and other pro-abortion women’s groups took to Twitter in support of the campaign. Talk show host Caleb Bonham wondered if young men embraced the idea and conducted a...

The pro-abortion madness is continuing for yet another week. On the heels of death threats from an abortion activist to the Lt. Governor comes another outrage. As members of the Texas legislature attempt to debate a bill that would ban late-term abortions after 20 weeks, abortion activists are shouting. The typical pro-abortion chant goes something like this: “Women must decide their fate, not the church, not the state.” Bryan Kemper of Stand True relayed to LifeNews reports from his staff at the scene and says many of the dozens of abortion advocates screaming tonight in the Texas capitol are replacing...

Washington, DC––Members of the pro-life movement have denounced House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi after remarks that she, as a Catholic, viewed the protection of the sacrifice of virgins during Black Masses as sacred ground. “As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this,” Pelosi said in a statement last week, going on to say that the subject of sacrificing the life of a worthy virgin pleasing to the Dark Lord as deeply personal to priests and priestesses performing the sacred ritual. Leading Catholics were quick to denounce Pelosi’s statements, including Thomas Peters of Catholicvote.org who called...

New York, NY (CFAM) — From the stage at the recent Women Deliver conference, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea revealed that her much-admired maternal grandmother was the child of unwed teenage parents who “did not have access to services that are so crucial that Planned Parenthood helps provide.” Chelsea’s grandmother was born of an unintended pregnancy. And new research shows that her family is not alone in treasuring a person who – if Planned Parenthood had been successful – would not have been born. “Every child a wanted child” is the rallying cry of family planning...

Nancy Pelosi WASHINGTON, D.C., June 20, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A group of pro-life priests has written to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, demanding that she either follow the Catholic teachings on abortion, or “have the honesty†to “formally renounce†her Catholic faith. The letter was written in response to Pelosi’s recent remarks in which she suggested that the issue of late-term abortions is “sacred ground.†Last week, Pelosi was asked by a reporter what the difference is between a legal late-term abortion and the killing of babies of the same age after they have been born alive, as late-term aborionist Kermit...

The Obama Administration has dropped its legal battle against a judge’s decision that would allow young girls to purchase the Plan B morning after pill over the counter. The decision allows anyone to purchase the drug and opponents of the decision say it paves the way for male sexual predators to purchase the drug for girls they victimize, by removing safeguards currently in place. Previously, the Justice Department appealed a court ruling saying the morning after pill known as Plan B should be available without a prescription for teenagers starting at age 15. Late Monday, the Obama administration said it...

When Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA) gets criticized for their controversial practices, they usually offer vague statements and empty reassurances. Last week was no exception. I suppose my recent Girl Scout article hit a nerve. Last week, GSUSA released a statement attempting to respond to the concerns I presented. I thought it was interesting that they responded to fairly insignificant me, a lone teenage girl. You see, Missouri Right to Life, a major player on the pro-life stage, recently issued a very informative and well-documented policy statement about GSUSA. GSUSA has been curiously quiet about those serious concerns. As far as...

An abortion battle could be brewing in Albany, as Gov. Andrew Cuomo plans to propose a major change to abortion laws in New York State. CBS 2 has learned that Cuomo will introduce a bill on Tuesday that would allow abortions after 24 weeks of pregnancy to protect a woman’s health. The bill would fall in line with federal law. Currently, New York State only allows late-term abortions if a woman’s life is at risk. Planned Parenthood outlined a 2009 bill with reportedly similar goals. The 2009 Reproductive Health Act would “guarantee a woman can make her own personal, private...

Just how extreme is the pro-abortion group NARAL? The organization is now on record opposing a new bill in Congress that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy because scientific evidence shows unborn babies feel pain by at least 20 weeks. Why does NARAL oppose a modest ban on late-term abortions? Its president Ilyse Hogue wraps the opposition in language about women’s rights and claims banning late-term abortions will drive up illegal abortions that hurt women. (Never mind that Kermit Gosnell went from the back alley to main street and killed and injured women in legal late-term abortions). “We...

Democrats in the House and Senate are looking to stop what they say are deceptive advertising practices by anti-abortion health clinics that imply they offer abortion services, but instead encourage birth and promote adoption. The legislation is aimed at crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs), which are clinics often set up by a church or other anti-abortion groups. Democrats in Congress and other pro-abortion groups say these clinics are known to indicate they can perform abortions in order to attract pregnant women patients, and then try to convince them to carry their babies to term. Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), the House sponsor...

he other day, I was in the middle of doing research online when I stumbled across a Planned Parenthood ad. Planned Parenthood, over the years, has run some pretty shocking ad campaigns. Without a doubt, this one is the worst I’ve ever seen: Planned Parenthood ad, baby This ad proves that insanity can indeed reach new heights. Planned Parenthood recently coined its “Care. No matter what.” slogan, around the same time the abortion giant decided that claiming to be “pro-choice” wasn’t the best way to win people to their side. Now, it’s insane to claim to “care” when your work...

The IRS and the Obama administration are coming under fire for targeting conservative groups — but a new report indicates at least one pro-life group faced discrimination as well. The Internal Revenue Service has issued an apology to conservative groups that it targeted in the lead up to the 2012 presidential election. The move is seen by many conservatives as the Obama administration doing post-election damage control after infringing on the rights of citizens groups. But a new WorldNetDaily report has more on how the federal agency targeted pro-lifers:

Date: Tue, 14 May 2013 10:00:02 -0500 (CDT) From: Tara Gibson Subject: Strength in Numbers Friend, On May 18th, Ken Cuccinelli will accept his party's nomination as the Republican candidate for Governor in Virginia. When it comes to women's health, Ken Cuccinelli is far out of the mainstream. He was one of only three attorneys general in the ENTIRE nation to refuse to support the Violence Against Women Act. He sponsored legislation to end state funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides cancer screenings and affordable birth control for thousands of Virginia women. He wants to make abortion illegal, even in...

After Kermit Gosnell was found guilty of three counts of murder in the killing of babies in gruesome abortions and infanticides, the pro-abortion group NARAL released a statement attacking pro-lifers. “Kermit Gosnell has been found guilty and will get what he deserves. Now, let’s make sure these women are vindicated by delivering what all women deserve: access to the full range of health services including safe, high-quality and legal abortion care,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL. But she went further in her statement and blasted pro-lifers and their efforts to limit abortions and put restrictions on late-term abortions in...

Kermit Gosnell’s attorney Jack McMahon is curiously blaming the media for today’s conviction of the abortion practitioner on three counts of murder related to abortion-infanticides. He said he was confident in the legal system but blamed “The baby factor” for the convictions. He also blamed the media, which is odd given the stunning lack of attention it gave to the Gosnell murder trial over the last several weeks. “The media has been overwhelmingly against [Gosnell],” he told reporters. Still, McMahon applauded the jury for taking its job seriously: “They didn’t just come down kneejerk and find him guilty of everything,...
