Conservative radio host Mark Levin announced Wednesday night that he has banned Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus from appearing on his radio show, labeling him as Donald Trump and the alt-right's "new friend." After telling his audience that he is setting up times for Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and radio host Glenn Beck to appear on the program, he said that a representative from the RNC had reached out on Priebus' behalf. Levin went on to say that Priebus is banned after playing too many "games" with him, adding that he doesn't trust him.

This was great! FOX News, the supposedly 'conservative channel' is full of elitist reporters who continually bash and misrepresent Donald Trump. If they don't have something nasty to say about Trump they won't say it. On Friday morning Reince Priebus corrected reporter Melissa Francis after she misrepresented the poll numbers... something several FOX hosts are guilty of... This was great!

Carly Fiorina is no longer running for president, but it looks like she already has another job in mind. Many people are speculating that she will throw her hat into the ring to replace Reince Priebus as chair of the RNC. Time reports: Carly Fiorina Plotting Bid to Chair Republican National Committee Former HP CEO and 2016 presidential contender Carly Fiorina is actively laying the groundwork for a bid to be the next chair of the Republican National Committee, according to state GOP officials who have followed her plans. Fiorina and her aides have plotted an aggressive season of travel...

Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, is said to be livid over an interview Donald J. Trump gave Tuesday in which he refused to endorse House Speaker Paul D. Ryan in his primary fight, and is considering several options to show his public support for Mr. Ryan. Mr. Priebus is debating the best way to demonstrate solidarity with Mr. Ryan, ranging from a formal endorsement to an email publicly stating his support, said three people with knowledge of Mr. Priebus’s internal discussions. A public announcement could come as early as Wednesday. In an interview with The Washington...

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is "apoplectic" over Donald Trump's refusal to back House Speaker Paul Ryan or Sen. John McCain, a top Republican source said. Priebus called several Trump staffers, including campaign manager Paul Manafort, to express his "extreme displeasure" with Trump's comments, the source with knowledge of the conversations told NBC News. Trump, in an interview with The Washington Post published Tuesday, said of Ryan "I'm not quite there yet" — echoing language used by Ryan when he was reluctant to endorse Trump in May. Ryan eventually endorsed the GOP nominee. A spokesperson fro Ryan said Tuesday...

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus wants to be clear who he blames for the massive leak of Democratic National Committee email correspondence that showed favoritism of Hillary Clinton at the expense of Bernie Sanders. While Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook has suggested that Russia is behind the DNC email publication by WikiLeaks, Priebus told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Monday that he does not know "if we can definitively say who has them and who’s taken them." "But the point is, the Russians didn’t write the emails and neither did whoever else. The WikiLeaks people didn’t write the emails,"...

CLEVELAND — Republicans are bracing for the possibility of a drawn-out fight over Donald J. Trump’s nomination that could stretch into the convention next week, a spectacle party leaders are desperate to avoid. As the party’s leadership convened in Cleveland on Wednesday for a series of organizational meetings, the possibility that the smoldering dissent over Mr. Trump could become a full-blown eruption on the convention floor was a top concern.

The specter of Donald Trump’s presidential nomination being ripped from under him in a nastily contested Republican National Convention next month is alive — again. Anti-Trump forces appeared to have been defeated after he ousted his remaining opponents from the race in early May and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus all signaled that Mr. Trump had sewn things up. But weeks of bad press stemming from Mr. Trump’s criticism of a federal judge and uneven handling in the aftermath of the Orlando, Florida, terrorist shooting have kick-started efforts...

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus has been quietly having conversations with state party leaders to discuss the latest push by convention delegates to nominate anyone other than Donald Trump. Priebus has spoken with GOP party chairmen in multiple states in recent days in part to get a better sense of how large the anti-Trump faction is among their convention delegations, according to two people familiar with the conversations. While Priebus has made clear in these conversations that he is not spearheading the latest push for a coup, his involvement sends a signal that the RNC is taking this effort...

Man, between this and the fact that an anti-Trumper was just put in charge of the Rules Committee, if you thought the relationship between Team Trump and the RNC was strained before, you ain’t seen nothing yet. There’s no claim here, please note, that Priebus is encouraging the dump-Trumpers. If he thinks a coup against Trump would shatter the party and sink any replacement nominee, he might actually be trying to head off the effort.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus tapped former congressman Enid Mickelsen to chair the all-important rules committee during the convention. Just two weeks ago, Enid had this to say about the presidential race: Ryan Struyk @ryanstruyk Enid Mickelsen just named chair of GOP convention rules panel. Here's what she told Salt Lake Tribune two weeks ago. She has also spoken approvingly of the idea that the rules could be changed to allow delegates to vote for someone other than a candidate they are bound to by result of primary or caucus. It's unkown if Trump was consulted about the choice.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus on Thursday inserted himself into a Twitter battle between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, attacking Clinton's private email server scandal. After the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee told Trump to "delete your account," Priebus responded, "If anyone knows how to use a delete key, it's you." Another Republican, Rep. Jeff Duncan (S.C.), also responded by referencing the controversy surrounding Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of State and admission to deleting thousands of emails that she deemed personal. Priebus earlier Thursday responded to President Obama's endorsement of Clinton by going after...

Liberal commentator Van Jones on Wednesday said he'd prefer the chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) to his own party's chair after a "leadership failure" on the Democratic side. Jones knocked Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her response to Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders on Tuesday in light of the contentious Nevada Democratic convention. "Debbie, who should be the umpire, who should be the marriage counselor, is coming in harder for Hillary Clinton than she is for herself. That is malpractice," Jones told CNN's Brooke Baldwin Wednesday.

I don’t know Reince Priebus, the head of the Republican Party (such as it is). He may be a very nice guy, what with a wife and kids and probably a car or two. Still, after watching him on the Sunday interview shows, I have concluded that the man has no pride, no shame and, almost certainly, no future. After Donald Trump loses the presidential election, the name Priebus will, like Quisling or even Boycott, take on a separate meaning: fool. Priebus went from TV studio to TV studio, four in all, on a trudge of abasement, a ride of shame....

Republican National Committee head Reince Priebus declared Sunday the anti-Donald Trump Republicans' effort to launch a third-party bid for the White House is a "suicide mission." In an interview with CBS News' "Face the Nation," Priebus — days after a closed-door sit-down with the GOP presumptive presidential nominee — warns against a third-party attempt at "blowing everything up." "It's a suicide mission because you're not only changing and throwing out eight years of the White House" but also jeopardizing the course of the Supreme Court, he replied. "We could have up to three justices change over in the next eight...

The head of the Republican National Committee denounced efforts to draft an independent candidate to run against Donald Trump as a "suicide mission" that could "wreck" the United States for generations. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus did not mince words as he urged party figures laying the groundwork for a third-party bid to suspend their work. "They can try to hijack another party and get on the ballot, but, look, it's a suicide mission for our country because what it means is that you're throwing down not just eight years of the White House but potentially 100 years on the Supreme...

Donald Trump will meet face-to-face with Speaker Paul Ryan at 9 a.m. on Thursday at the RNC, according to a GOP leadership source familiar with the schedule. RNC Chairman Reince Priebus will sit in the meeting, too. A second meeting including Ryan, Trump and a larger roster of GOP leadership will follow. Attendees will include Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), and Deputy Whip Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) There will be no press availability after, but Ryan will do an on-camera availability later that morning, the source said. Trump has no plans...
