After profiling the different types of blog commenters recently, I had some requests for advice on how to be the good kinds of commenters, rather than the bad.  Here are some dos and don’ts that might help: 1) Be charitable. I'm just curious. Does it matter that to anyone that I don't fill in the "source" part of posts? Is it not enough that I give the URL? Does anyone except pissant give a damn? Get off my back, pissant! Just trying to do my part to save conservatism and fight Obamunism. Your pettiness about formatting gives this whole site a bad name. Not trying to start a fight; but get over yourself with the "proper posting" crap already!

Repeatedly, FR moderators have moved TOP postings related to current NEWS and calls for conservative ACTIVISM from the News and Activism section, over to "blogger's and personal" which has no traffic by comparison. I fully understand Jim Robinson's original purpose in launching FR, to provide a community in which conservatives could get TRUTH not available in the MSM, information not available in the MSM and access to fellow conservatives so that we could work together towards a conservative agenda. Yet time after time, FR moderators bury this information over in "blogger's and personal" and kill story after story, vital to...

It appears that I post something --I make sure to INCLUDE its source...it is NOT offensive or obscene--and you immediately remove iit....( in this case a portion of a thread i found illuminating from Hillaryclintonforum.net) this happens constantly....and is very frustrating....the "free" in free republic does not appear to hold---perhaps a clarification of your increasingly rigid rules would help? The parameters are so narrow some good content is being unilaterally struck....PLEASE EXPLAIN so that i can contribute in a way that allows my points to be seen. Thank you.
