A new poll out on Thursday obliterates the latest mainstream media narrative confronting billionaire Donald Trump: That he can’t get majorities, but can only get pluralities, in election results. The poll of New York state, conducted by Boston’s Emerson College, has Trump dominating his only two remaining competitors in the Empire State with 65 percent of Republicans there backing him. Only 12 percent back Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) Trump’s closest competitor, and just one percent support Ohio Gov. John Kasich. The poll was conducted over three days, March 14 to March 16, during two days of which Sen. Marco Rubio...

If this poll accurately reflects the US electorate, get ready for the mother of all gender gaps (so to speak) in November if Donald Trump wins the Republican presidential nomination. The frontrunner has a major problem with women, according to this Reuters-Ipsos poll conducted over the first half of March, and it has gotten worse rather than better over the last six months. Half of all women have a “very unfavorable†view of Trump, in an election that could pit him against the first female major-party nominee: Real estate billionaire Donald Trump’s coarse rhetoric has won him some fans,...

Matt Drudge addresses weird activity on his Drudge Poll. At one point I noted 300 votes a minute for Cruz. Drudge confirms "spam" coming in from Delaware, 44 thousand votes in total for Ted Cruz just from that state alone. Did Team Cruz actually pay someone to spam the Drudge poll?: MATT DRUDGE â€@DRUDGE 1h1 hour ago The Cruz spam all came from Delaware. Trump clear win in all other states. #drudgepoll

Something funny is going on with the drudgereport poll. Click on the above picture for a direct link to the polldaddy poll that is linked on drudgereport. For a little while the poll was Tied Cruz and Trump @ about 110,000 votes each, seperated by about 300 votes... then the vote count for Cruz started going backwards. The numbers go backwards every-time I refresh. Has anyone seen this happen before?

Earlier today Ed Morrissey wrote about a new NBC/WSJ poll showing Donald Trump could lose to Hillary Clinton by double digits in a general election. An ABC/Washington Post poll also published today has similar findings: Should this matchup come about, the current advantage is Clinton’s. She leads Trump by 50-41 percent in vote preference among registered voters, her widest advantage in three ABC/Post polls since September. Among all adults, including those currently not registered, Clinton’s lead swells to 54-36 percent. And the public by 59-36 percent predicts that Clinton would win — up from a 12-point gap on this...

Clinton would edge out Trump by 13 points in a one-on-one vote, 51 percent to 38 percent, in the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey. Trump, the controversial GOP front-runner, would lose even more soundly to Bernie Sanders should the Independent Vermont senator secure the Democratic nomination. Sanders bests Trump by 18 points, 55 to 37 percent. Sanders picked up a surprise win over Clinton in Michigan on Tuesday, though Clinton expanded her overall delegate lead. By comparison, Trump's rivals Sens. Marco Rubio(D-Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas) both fare better against the Democratic front-runner in the latest polling. Cruz and...

Just over half of Americans agree with Mitt Romney that Trump is a 'fraud' and a 'phony', but Republicans disagree As the Trump campaign maintained its strong momentum Republican heavyhitters Mitt Romney and John McCain blasted the frontrunner in unusually blunt language. Romney's intervention was particularly severe, calling Trump a 'phony' and a 'fraud', while John McCain said that Trump was 'dangerous'. Trump reacted in typical style, noting that Romney had 'begged' him to endorse his 2012 campaign. A narrow majority of Americans (51%) agree with Mitt Romney's assessment that Donald Trump is a 'phony' and a 'fraud', though 31%...

Hillary Clinton's lead over Democratic presidential rival Bernie Sanders has narrowed, according to the latest national polls released Tuesday. Clinton is favored to beat Sanders by 7 points, 49 to 42 percent, among registered Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents in the ABC News/Washington Post poll. That's the closest margin ever between the pair in the poll, which recorded a 52-point lead for Clinton, 68 to 16 percent, last July. It's also the first time Clinton has slipped below 50 percent from Democratic-leaning voters.
