It is unusual for a 52-year-old man to be shot invading a home. When I see it, it usually is a career criminal, someone who is drunk and mistakes the home, is in the middle of a bad domestic situation, or someone who had a long brewing feud with a neighbor. In the case of Garry Lieberth of North Platte, Nebraska, I have not been able to find any evidence of those things. Perhaps we will learn more when the toxicology report comes in. From the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in Colorado: The adult male homeowner was asleep on...

BO is the reason for the season - regardless of which “season” you’re celebrating:Cat Walkin’ our way through the “Holiday” Season: “I’m too sexy for my house…”For Hanukkah, Big Guy, widely described by pro-Israel groups as the U.S. president “least friendly to the Jewish state since its founding,” believes that he is Jewish in his “soul.” “I am, in my soul.” Which might explain the Hanukkah colors OFA chose for their annual cultish “Holiday Greetings” card, featuring our first Jewish President:Butt getting back to Boo-Rock’s claim that he has a “Jewish soul” - I’m sure that could be true, were there...

In an upcoming People magazine interview, Barack and Michelle Obama sit down and discuss life as the First Oppressed Couple of the United States. Hoping to shed light and relate to recent events in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York City, Barack reached into the upstairs White House bedroom of his mind and called upon his famous imaginary son to make an appearance: The small irritations or indignities that we experience are nothing compared to what a previous generation experienced,” President Obama said. “It’s one thing for me to be mistaken for a waiter at a gala. It’s another thing for...

Rush talked about a politico story back on November 3rd which relies heavily on establishment insiders giving good talking points to left wing journalists, so as to be able to hit members of the Tea Party harder over the head. Since then, we have seen the GOP win the election overwhelmingly, and then go on to give Obama everything he wants. Specifically a trillion dollar spending bill and amnesty. There are a lot of people out there who believe that the Republican Establishment is out to GET conservatives, and quite frankly, I don't see how anybody can argue against it....

A protective order can be effective. Especially if it is backed up with a gun. Protective orders are meant to be backed with armed force. The problem is that in many cases, armed agents of the state either arrive too late to be of help, or they cannot stay around long enough to provide effective protection. But when the armed force is in the form of the person who asked for the protective order, the protection is multiplied many times. In this case out of Indiana, the suspect, Jeffrey Frakes, had been released from jail the day before. From wishtv.com:...

This is of course about the upcoming movie "The Interview." My wife and I saw this preview the day before it got pulled, and it's a shame because it looks like it's REALLY funny! Also, the reaction across the political spectrum has been unified in a way we rarely see.

To the Catholic leaders who wish to help the Cuban people, my prayers, too, that you would realize the evil that has descended upon our country and the Church. Your purpose is to save souls, not to be used as pawns for the Devil Growing up as a child of conservative parents in a Catholic environment, today, after 53 years living in the USA, I find a new world that is upside down. When Fidel Castro came to Cuba, soon after there were rumors of the government takeover of private schools. I was sent as a young teen to the...

The New Year worry for a watching world is if Obama can open up channels for drastic policy changes in Cuba without the knowledge of the American population and Congress, when will he do the same for Iran? Just as Fidel Castro became Cuba’s dictator when he and his guerrillas triumphantly entered Havana on January 7, 1959, President Barack Obama became America’s dictator on Dec. 17, 2014. Swaggering into Havana dressed in army fatigues with his signature cigar, Castro claimed the island as his own. Like a thief making off with a nation in the middle of the night, Obama...

In an article published yesterday, Salon writer Brittney Cooper wrote about an encounter on a subway that she deemed extremely racist. The article, called “Listen when I talk to you!”: How white entitlement marred my trip to a Ferguson teach-in, Cooper began the story by explaining that she was on a train bound for Ferguson for a "teach-in." At the time of the encounter, Cooper writes, the train was "full." More than that, she couldn't hear anything going on and was ignoring people trying to sit down because she had her "beats headphones on." And though the train was full,...

I've lost a few friends on my social networks thanks to this post.I'm sorry not sorry. I just don't know how this is even debatable.People who condemn this stuff must be confused because it seems like they think the intelligence community is engaging in these measures against terrorists for the fun of it...They're not!The "torture" isn't taking place in a vacuum. I would LOVE for one of these self-styled liberal "doves," just one, to tell me that if they would hold their head high after a terror attack that killed thousands or more because its prevention failed due to...

Here's a well-researched and well-argued article that, after investigation, reliably shows that the presence of food banks doesn't mean that welfare cheques are not high enough, but only that "sometimes the state messes up benefit payments and leaves nasty delays. They prove that people aren’t good at managing money. They suggest that not everyone puts rent and food before fags and booze (but we don’t want to get into a discussion about the deserving and the undeserving here). They confirm that supply creates its own demand." My disagreement with the writer is that she seems to be in favour...

December 18, 2014 OBAMA’S MOVE TO STRENGTHEN CUBA WILL ALSO HELP RUSSIA, IRAN, NORTH KOREA AND VENEZUELA by John Hinderaker President Obama has chosen an odd time to begin a diplomatic and economic relationship with Cuba that undoubtedly will strengthen Cuba’s economy and thereby, in all probability, prolong the rule of the Castro brothers and make it more likely that they will be succeeded by another generation of Communist tyrants. In recent years, Cuba has aligned itself militarily with an international rogues’ gallery: Venezuela, of course, but also Russia, Iran and North Korea. As we noted here, Havana hosted a...

Sony’s capitulation in the face of threats by unidentified sources, who are presumed to support the odious Kim dynasty, serves to confirm what most of us have known for some time. Namely, the extent of allowable political discourse in popular culture is inextricably linked to the willingness of the objects of political criticism to violently suppress that criticism. Or, at the very least, intimate the unpleasant nature of the response in store for those willing to offer a dissenting voice. An interview the iconic Indo-British author and apostate Salman Rushdie did with Irshad Manji several years ago is worth watching...

With his country’s economy on the ropes due to declining oil prices, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro blamed the United States oil fracking industry. “It is an act of aggression against my country and a crime against humanity,” Maduro maintained. “Venezuela needs high oil prices to support our programs to feed our people. These frackers are destroying our ability to feed ourselves.” While most economists see falling fuel prices as beneficial for the vast majority of consumers, Maduro complained that “most of the beneficiaries are rich, white Americans. Saving them money at our cost is a direct attack on my government’s...

A long time ago, on an island not too far away, a pair of brothers was ejected from a good Jesuit school. The one was reportedly a better student, the other less impressive, but together, they preferred other things – politics, rabble-rousing, war. When the brothers grew up, they fell in with a bad crowd – the worst of crowds, in fact. Far across the oceans, Chinese communists were consolidating their power, Soviet communists were drawing an iron curtain down the center of Europe, Korean communists were settling in for the long haul in Pyongyang, Vietnamese communists were revolting against...

It’s worse than we thought; even the Wons are frequent victims of racial injustice according to People magazine - The Obamas: How We Deal with Our Own Racist Experiences. In the article, Big Guy claims he’s been mistaken for a valet and Lady M said he has also been mistaken for a waiter. Some say he’s been mistaken for a President:Rock star? President? Whatever.Butt I think we all know who the real president is around here: Although undocumented and forced to live in the shadows, Val is de facto el Presidente. And it’s not just BO who has to deal with...

"With new leaders in charge in both Washington and Havana, there have been numerous speculations about changes/improvements in U.S.-Cuba relations. For example, in December Raúl Castro floated the possibility of releasing from his gulag certain political prisoners in exchange for five Cuban spies convicted of spying, murder and other charges in the United States. The idea is a non-starter because there is no comparison between the so-called "Cuban Five," convicted in open American courts, and political prisoners, convicted without any semblance of due process, locked away in Castro's dungeons because of their opposition to his communist regime. But it did...
