I surf around social media where high school and college students tend to frequent, such as Tumblr, and my reactions go from rage to heartbreak to see the (mostly leftist) perspectives on life. This graphic fits in with it perfectly.

We all are familiar with the political spectrum, that hypothetical horizontal line on which we find our ‘point’ – our personal political ideology. Senators and Representatives often talk about simplifying the tax code but it never happens. The very complexity of the tax code creates an enormous opportunity for special interest lobbyists in Washington. Given the large campaign war chests amassed by incumbents from special interest lobbyists and the companies they represent I think that we can correctly surmise why the tax code exists as it does.

As the United States of Obama allows less individual freedom, we need to reaffirm that democracy without individual freedom is tyranny.
