A follow-up to this post. My lovely wife, a Red Cross volunteer has been asked to go to the local public swimming facilities to collect those "horribly insensitive" posters. After all, the Red Cross is made up of volunteers who rely on donations. Never mind the flooding still goiong on in Texas and W Va, and that we're in the midst of hurricane season in FL, priorities are priorities, right? And at least 99% of the donors are either unaware of this non-controversy or don't give a rat's a** or are angry that the Red Cross would shamelessly capitulate to...

Leftist views have increasingly dominated American college campuses to the point that many universities now consider the mere mention of conservative values an aggressive act that warrants counseling. One page on the official website of Virginia’s Longwood University, however, shows just how cloistered liberals have become in the realm of higher education. A slideshow on the college’s Diversity and Inclusion Resources page includes numerous social justice buzzwords, including a denouncement of so-called “invalidations.” As the examples continued, they exposed even more intolerance toward those with a more traditional worldview. Following a list of “insults” that are not welcome on campus,...

In the English language, a certain type of baked chocolate dessert is known as a "brownie." This is very problematic, of course, because a lot of people have brown skin. If you say the word "brownie" out loud, you might hurt the feelings of a person with brown skin. And that's bad. That's why we have the police. On June 16, police were called to an unlikely scene: an end-of-the-year class party at the William P. Tatem Elementary School in Collingswood. A third grader had made a comment about the brownies being served to the class. After another student exclaimed...

The nation’s oldest public school – and the alma mater of five signers of the Declaration of Independence – is embroiled in a racial controversy that may be its biggest test in nearly 400 years. Boston Latin School, founded in 1635 and still one of America’s most prestigious high schools, has undergone an administrative shakeup, faces growing demands from community leaders and is the subject of a federal investigation. The controversy arose after two black students claimed on YouTube that racism courses through hallways and classrooms, and the administration turns a blind eye. “The fact that our administration failed to...

UNC has removed “guidelines” for avoiding micro-aggression incidents on campus that included both of those behaviors. According to a statement released in the wake of concern over its free speech policies, UNC says the information, which was posted by a school employee in a forum intended for faculty and staff to share information and discuss potential policy changes, does not reflect the school’s official policy on handling questions of campus speech.

What is meant by the modern term referred to as ‘POLITICAL CORRECTNESS’.. The definition is found in 4 telegrams at the Truman Library and Museum in Independence, Missouri. The following are copies of four telegrams between President Harry Truman and Gen Douglas MacArthur on the day before the actual signing of the WWII Surrender Agreement in September 1945.. The contents of those four telegrams below are exactly as received at the end of the war - not a word has been added or deleted! I did have to modify one word so it would be allowed on these boards. A Students for Trump event at Portland State University was greeted with hostility Saturday when campus police officers tried to kick Trump’s supporters to the curb while protesters reacted hysterically to chants of “USA! USA!” Students for Trump began the event by erecting a wall on campus but campus security attempted to force the students to leave on the grounds that the wall was a “structure” rather than a “sign,” and thus violated university policies. However, the students were ultimately allowed to remain on campus but were harshly ridiculed by their peers, who called them “pathetic,” “idiot,” and members of...

U.S. Rep. Stephen F. Lynch yesterday knocked President Obama’s “politically correct” reluctance to use the term “Islamic extremists” — and said the U.S. should have struck back at ISIS with a heavy hand immediately after the Orlando massacre. “I would have liked to have seen a pronounced effort right after Orlando. They called for this. They struck American citizens and we should have a show of force to send a message,” Lynch told Boston Herald Radio.

The Department of Justice is scrubbing references of radical Islamic beliefs from the transcripts of calls Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen made to police during his massacre, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Sunday. A partial transcript of the conversations between authorities and Mateen, who killed 49 and wounded 53 in the June 12 attack at a Florida gay nightclub, is set to be released on Monday. But Lynch, who appeared on numerous Sunday talk shows, said the transcripts will not include Mateen's oath of loyalty to ISIS or any other religious justification for the attack.

As politically correct and in total denial as President Obama is on the subject of taking the fight to ISIS, he has a lot of company these days from his fellow Americans. The primary governmental organization responsible for our homeland security issues orders for its employees not use the terms Jihad or Sharia. The Federal Bureau of Investigation can’t conduct surveillance on mosques over concerns of offending Muslims. The President and members of Congress green light Syrians into the country as ISIS blazes a trail of terror across the globe. Muslim migrants storm the country like a horde blasting through...

We are at war. The President may not know it or want to believe it, but anyone with half a brain is quite aware that ISIS wants to destroy us and institute a caliphate across the globe based on its twisted, evil ideology. President Obama is not only philosophically against fighting this war, but he’s also scared to face the enemy. His fear causes him to create a myriad of excuses why he can’t take the helm and crucify ISIS. The war with ISIS, Mr. President is not a gun control issue or a LGBT issue or some cry for...

Obama administration knowingly allowed Omar Mateen to murder 49 people because it didn’t want to offend Muslims Multiple people had warned the federal government that they thought Omar Mateen was going to commit a terrorist attack, but the government dismissed these complaints because in the hierarchy of political correctness, not wanting to offend Muslims takes precedence over saving the lives of innocent U.S. citizens: http://www.dailycaller.com/2016/06/13/fbi-called-off-investigation-of-orlando-shooter-because-they-thought-his-coworkers-were-racist/FBI Called Off Investigation Of Orlando Shooter Because They Thought His Coworkers Were Racist.http://www.dailycaller.com/2016/06/17/2013-orlando-terrorist-threatened-to-kill-fla-sheriff-and-his-family-fbi-dismissed-threat/2013: Orlando Terrorist Threatened To Kill Fla. A faculty committee has proposed adding a three credit hours requirement in diversity to the general education curriculum at Wayne State University. It also recommended that WSU drop its university-wide requirement in mathematics, an idea that was carried out on June 13. “We are proposing the creation of specific ‘Diversity’ courses, with students required to take one course in this designation,” said a document from the General Education Reform Committee, which is recalibrating what the university will expect from all students who earn a degree from the state university. It released the proposal in May.

Last year, the University of Northern Colorado hung 680 #languagematters posters around campus, warning students against words and phrases deemed offensive. “Words are connected to a long and often forgotten history of oppression and people,” one poster said. “Language matters because, whether it is intentional or not, the impact of words can reinforce oppression and feelings of discomfort, fear and shame,” another said.

Americans bet on the wrong people with the wrong plans. This is the true cause of the Orlando terrorist attack, and all the other terrorist attacks against America from 9/11 to San Bernardino are the result of leadership that is deluded, disloyal, and inept. What you are seeing with the Orlando terror attack is the result of the REAL WORLD crashing head on into the fake-ality TV world we have created for ourselves in America. And of course the REAL WORLD won as it does EVERY TIME. If Americans are depending on President Barack Hussein Obama II, Congress, or the...

Homeland Security Instructed To Combat Violent Extremism With Political Correctness Less than a week before Omar Mateen walked into an Orlando gay club and killed or wounded more than 100 people, the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) submitted its Countering Violent Extremism report to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Jeh Johnson. The report instructs the DHS not to use any language that might be “disrespectful” to Muslims, including (but not limited to) the words “jihad,” “sharia” and “takfir.”The report was crafted by an HSAC subcommittee that Secretary Johnson created in November 2015. The head of that subcommittee, Farah Pandith, was appointed by...

Ralph Nader, 82, backs Trump by slamming 'absurd college culture which makes men too sensitive' Nader, 82, said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has a point about college culture and how sensitive students are. He added that the Trump 'is extremely clever with the use of language' and that he is a 'hybrid' of a presidential candidate.

Is the University of Wisconsin-Madison running the risk of having minority students viewed as being coddled and overprotected from “seemingly minor or unintentional” slights? gotprivilegeIs it creating an environment where the slightest statement or action could provoke a finger-pointing witch hunt for students who are accused of insensitivity? Is it encouraging minority students to become hyper-sensitive to the point where people of different skin colors are afraid to associate openly and freely, without having their speech constantly monitored for words that might upset someone? The university has announced that it will require about 1,000 incoming students to participate in “cultural...

The worst mass shooting in U.S. history is raising new questions about the safety of the homeland and shaking up the race for the White House. Shocking revelations that the shooter had been previously investigated by the FBI more than have many asking whether the incident could have been prevented. At least 50 people were killed and 53 were wounded or injured in the shootings early Sunday morning. The shooter, Omar Mateen, pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) before attacking Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, with an assault rifle and a handgun. The FBI...
