Paul Deen and her ridiculously pathetic brother Bubba Hier shuttered ‘Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House’ and included in employees’ severance checks, which were collected in the parking lot, was a message, “Thank you for 10 great years. Uncle Bubba’s is now closed.” So far so good, except employees that stood in the parking lot of the business that was the center of Deen’s racism scandal in 2013, were unaware the business was closing until they were greeted with that message of gratitude for their dedicated work.

Of course, if he wanted to be more accurate, the slogan would go "ripped from one headline, ripped from another headline, ripped from a third headline and then put in a blender with an added sprinkle of crazy," but maybe that's too clunky. Jackson had sued on the grounds that the work environment at Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oyster House, owned by Deen and her brother, subjected employees to sexual harassment and racial discrimination. According to the Moore, Jackson, who is white, was at best, “an accidental victim of the alleged racial discrimination.” This inconvenient reality will matter little to the civil rights lynch mob and their media enablers who have dedicated themselves to destroying Deen’s career. The May 17 deposition where she made the alleged admissions is part of a $1.2 million lawsuit brought by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of a Savannah, Georgia, restaurant run by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson alleges in the suit that Deen used the N-word at the restaurant and that Hiers sexually harassed her. According to the reports, in the deposition, Deen replied “Yes, of course,” when asked if she used the N-word....

Reporting from Atlanta— A former employee of a restaurant co-owned by Paula Deen has filed a lawsuit against the matronly celebrity cook, accusing her of condoning an atmosphere of sexual harassment and racism in her high-profile culinary empire. The suit also accuses Deen of casually referring to black people with a racial epithet. The civil complaint, which was filed Monday in state court in Savannah, Ga., was brought by Lisa T. Jackson, a former manager at Uncle Bubba's Oyster House, one of five restaurants in Deen's group. The Savannah-based oyster house is co-owned by Deen and her brother, Earl W....

Last week, TV chef Paula Deen announced that she’s been suffering from type 2 diabetes for the past three years. She acknowledged that a person has “to make changes in your life” but apparently, Deen hasn’t apparently changed all that much. TMZ posted a photo of Deen woolfing down a cheeseburger on Monday while on a 7-day Caribbean cruise. The 65-year-old chef was hosting her annual Party at Sea vacation for 400 fans. TMZ says Deen also had fries on her plate.

Could it be the bacon, egg and glazed donut burgers, y’all? When butter-loving country cook Paula Deen announced this week that she has type 2 diabetes, foodies everywhere started buzzing. What can you expect when you concoct a Lady’s Brunch Burger out of bacon, eggs and a beef patty with glazed donuts for buns? Could all that piggy pudding and Uncle Bubba’s seafood pot pie be to blame? Sort of, local nutrition experts say. But not entirely. Diabetes educators say no certain type of food leads to diabetes, but the calorie-laden goodies Deen whips up can lead to weight gain...

Paula Deen — the queen of high-calorie, Southern cooking — is about to come clean and confess that she can’t eat her own dishes anymore because she has diabetes. The Georgia-born chef — a Food Network star who has written five best-selling cookbooks — has been trying to keep her condition a secret, even after the National Enquirer reported in April that she has Type 2 diabetes, which is often associated with fatty foods and obesity. Sources say Deen, 64, who never addressed the diabetes question, has worked out a multimillion-dollar deal to be the spokeswoman for a pharmaceutical company...

When celebrity chef Paula Deen met with Michelle Obama, she was surprised at just how much food the first lady could put away. Mrs. Obama has become a driving force in preaching healthy eating for others, but according to the newspaper, Deen recalls, she packed away anything but healthy food -- both on the air and during the commercials. “She probably ate more than any other guest I've ever had on the show!" said Deen, sometimes called the "Queen of Butter" for her decidedly non-dietetic fare. According to the Food Network star, after complimenting Michelle on her slim figure, she...

Paula Deen, the Queen of Southern Cuisine, responds to a vicious attack by so-called television chef Anthony Bourdain. He’s the pseudo-intellectual elitist who once ate a warthog’s rectum. Bourdain called Miss Paula the most dangerous person in America. “She’s proud of the fact that her food is ***** bad for you,” he said.
