Matthew 5:9 says “Blessed are the peacemakers” and it would appear Pastor Clementa Pinckney was definitely one of those. While the mainstream media is decrying the fact that the Charleston shooting victim’s body was carried past a Confederate flag today, the good pastor may not have found it all that offensive. In 2000, during his first term in the South Carolina State Senate, Pinckney actually voted in favor of H5028, the May 2000 compromise which placed the flag at its current location. H5028 related to THE PERMANENT PLACEMENT OF THE UNITED STATES FLAG, THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE FLAG, AND THE...

Nikki Brooks, a Black woman who claims to be a Christian and to have held leadership rolls in several churches, has published an astonishing video stating she has no sympathy for the unborn black baby targeted for abortion. “What I am about to say, I am a Christian, I’ve served in a Pastoral capacity in three churches, I uh, I am an active minister, and um, I don’t make apology for what I am about to say,” Brooks states in her video. She is apparently upset that the Black community, which is being targeted for abortion by racist eugenics groups...

The United Methodist Church has been a subject of controversy for years as it supports legalized abortion within the context of supposedly being a Christian denomination. Now, one pro-life advocate has uncovered a quote from a Methodist pastor who says that caring about unborn babies who die in abortions is “idolatry.” Sarah Terzo, who has a knack for documenting the history of the abortion debate and the abortion advocacy movement by posting quotes from pro-abortion activists through the years, posted a new quote today that features Minister John M Swomley. Swomley is an ordained United Methodist minister, Terzo explains and,...

NEW ORLEANS —Kenneth Green was only 56 years old.He was a loving husband, father and the senior pastor of Greater Saint Mary Baptist Church in Algiers. Sunday, he collapsed and died in the middle of his sermon.Joan Martin was sitting in the pew, and broke down in tears."He took a swallow of water, before he took water he wiped his face, and then he looked up and it looked like his eyes were rolled back, like there was no life in his eyes, and he tumbled over. Question: “Pastor John, what should a church council or board do if one of their pastors asks to officiate a same-sex wedding?” I don’t feel like I can answer that question without dropping one level down. This is so sensitive and explosive and politically agitating that I want to go down to the bottom, and then come back up to the practical question. The practical question is relatively easy once you get the other things, which are not easy, sorted out. The emotional and physical sensations that we call same-sex attraction are disordered emotions and disordered sensations. And that disordering...

FULL TITLE: Rev. Cruz: If Gay Marriage is ‘Civil Right,’ Gov’t Will Force Pastors to Obey ‘Unjust’ Law or ‘Obey God and Face Prison’ If gay marriage is legally viewed as a “civil rights issue,” as may happen with the Supreme Court’s ruling on the subject in June, then it becomes a broader religious liberty concern, not just a marriage issue, said Reverend Rafael Cruz, adding that then pastors will have to choose between obeying an “unjust” law and obeying God and potentially going to prison. Pastor Cruz, who is the father of Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), made his remarks...

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. I am sad at the news of fellow Iowan Dr. Robert Schuller and pray for the comfort of the Lord on his family. However, I am very concerned for his soul. Dr. Robert Schuller was a prolific false teacher whose errant teachings destroyed thousands, if not millions (especially old ladies who could not drive to church who clung to...

ARTESIA, Calif. (AP) — The Rev. Robert H. Schuller, the Southern California televangelist and author who beamed his upbeat messages on faith and redemption to millions from his landmark Crystal Cathedral only to see his empire crumble in his waning years, has died. The headlines were surprising. Creflo Dollar (yes, that’s his real name), a pastor at World Changers Church International headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, actually had the nerve to ask his congregation and watchers, nationwide, of his program on the Internet, to replace his broken-down private jet with a state of the art model. And the plane Dollar requested, the Gulfstream G650, is not just your run-of-the-mill private jet. It’s, according to a quote on the Gulfstream website, “The biggest, fastest, most luxurious, longest range and most technologically advanced jet — by far — that Gulfstream has ever built.” Indeed, its writeup...

No, the title of this article is not hyperbole and yes, the title is accurate. The IRS sometimes has their agents pose as clergymen to deceive church parishioners in attempts to gain information from them surreptitiously. I kid you not. Reverend Patrick Mahoney is the Director for the Christian Defense Coalition and he told the Christian Post that, “It is an absolute disgrace that IRS undercover agents can pose as members of the clergy. It is the role of government to protect religious freedom and the First Amendment, and not to use it to gather information and spy on American...

The daughter of Jeremiah Wright, the former pastor to President Barack Obama, was sent to jail Monday by a federal judge who revoked her bond in a money laundering case. Jeri Wright, 49, of Hazel Crest, was convicted last March of money laundering and lying to a grand jury in a case tied to a state grant. Her father was not involved in the case. Federal prosecutors sought to revoke her bond, alleging that she had participated in a ghost payrolling scheme at a private company in Indiana following her conviction. She has not been charged based on those ghost...

This sermon is titled "What really happen in the Garden of Eden". This is from the female pastor that is conducting gay marriages in Alabama. She uses this sermon talk about the idea of shame and guilt. She states almost every racist slur that exists. Then she moves onto politics from page 4 an on. She compares the incidents at Abu-Ghraib to Joe Arpiao: "Arizona's Sheriff Joe Arpaio forcing his male prisoners to wear pink underwear and swelter in tents. How does one recover from being treated that way? More to the point, isn't there something fundamentally wrong with Lynndie...

A West Virginia woman arrested in a bizarre home invasion Sunday night is also accused of murdering a 69-year-old pastor over the weekend, police said. Camille Brown, 19, was charged Monday with first-degree murder. She was already jailed for breaking and entering and disorderly conduct, said Beckley police Detective Morgan Bragg. He said Brown lived about a half-mile away from the home of victim Ronald Browning, a hospital chaplain, but did not know him. "I would have to say this is one of the most disturbing cases I've seen," Bragg told NBC News. "We've yet to determine a true logical...

The heart-wrenching yet inspiring story of Jong-rak Lee, a pastor who has made his life's mission to save abandoned babies left on the streets of Seoul, South Korea, is coming to theaters on March 3rd by way of a Focus on the Family documentary titled The Drop Box. Since 2009, Pastor Lee has taken society's most vulnerable members--unwanted babies--into his home through a "Drop Box," where the infants could be dropped off rather than left on the streets to die. The Drop Box is equipped with lights and a heater and reads in Korean, "Please don't throw away unwanted or...
