She's a God, Country, Family, small government, no nonsense traditional Christian conservative. She's an outsider not corrupted by business as usual Washington politics. They hate her. She's pro defense. An army mom. She's pro-gun. Hunts, fishes and enjoys the great outdoors. She eats corrupt office holders and wasteful spenders for lunch. She drills for oil. She's a fighter. A winner! She's the exact opposite to Obama in all respects. She's an American patriot! In short, she's exactly what we the grassroots tea party patriots are looking for.

Perhaps we should take a few moments to examine what the “it” is as regards Sarah Palin. There is an oft quoted, or at least it should be oft quoted maxim regarding managers: “Intuitive managers always fail.” Specifically, managers who hire or promote based on perception, feeling, assumption, or appearance will be wrong most of the time. Managers that hire/promote based on performance will usually be right. Simply put, just because someone looks or talks like Stan Musial does not mean he or she can hit like Stan Musial. That certainly applies to the most recent voters’ presidential selection, as...

You're looking at one guy who isn't impressed with the presumed wisdom of the Pompous Punditry Establishment. Right now, that power-pack is going bonkers speculating whether Sarah Palin will ever be president or not. No one knows and why is it a priority when the country is plunging down the tubes? The more relevant question is will anyone want to be president in 2012? Sarah's a phenomenon. Some adore her; some despise her. All but the most vehement haters agree she's a force to be reckoned with in some way or another. The "how" is the bigger question. To obsess...

"Someone like Michelle Bachmann would be incredible, but our friend insists she’s not even on the long list, let alone the short list for the job. 'Remember, Republicans are all about “whose turn it is” and “who has been waiting longest for the job”. There is no sense of timeliness with them, and never any consideration for who would be best to lead the party. They just get in a line and years later it’s their turn to be the nominee or the Speaker or whatever. That’s how Republicans do things, and that’s why they are so beatable usually'.

Unreal. Team Obama may allow US soldiers to be tried in the Hague for war crimes. The Wall Street Journal reported, via Jihad Watch: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed “great regret” in August that the U.S. is not a signatory to the International Criminal Court (ICC). This has fueled speculation that the Obama administration may reverse another Bush policy and sign up for what could lead to the trial of Americans for war crimes in The Hague. The ICC’s chief prosecutor, though, has no intention of waiting for Washington to submit to the court’s authority. Luis Moreno Ocampo says...

With the launch of Sarah Palin's book tour, a brand-new strain of the incurable disorder we came to know as Palin Derangement Syndrome during the 2008 campaign has emerged. And unlike the swine flu, this particular affliction appears to be a fatal (at least in terms of rational, cognitive abilities), permanent condition from which the patient has no desire to recover. And I'm not just talking about the lamestream media elites and other assorted liberals -- from whom we've come to expect the most vicious, reprehensible character assassination -- but also from libertarians and Ron Paul nuts. Several months ago,...

Why do so many people love Sarah Palin? Why do so many hate her? I cannot recall a politician in recent memory that has been both so loved and so reviled for no discernible reason. When Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate on the 2008 Republican presidential ticket many conservatives were intrigued, including me. It was reported that the Alaskan governor had been a member of Pat Buchanan’s “Buchanan Brigades” during the commentator’s presidential bids in 1996 and 2000 and that Palin had ties to the secessionist Alaskan Independence Party. An “America First” states rights’ radical on a...

Sarah Palin’s timing and strategy should be in a required reading political text: “Palin on Politics – How to time it; how to move in the political and media morass.” When half the nation thought that she was unqualified to be Vice-President never mind President; when she was being sued in her home state for all manner of imagined infractions (ALL suits were dismissed) – she resigned as Governor of Alaska before the end of her elected term.
-
Remember over the last few months when all the pundits, strategists, consultants and RNC hacks were busy giving Governor Palin advice about what moves she should make if she wanted to return to the political big time? Well I’m pleased to say she totally ignored them and decided to do it her way – the Palin way...and guess what – it has worked to perfection.

1. She is a woman and we've never had a woman president! Of course, before our current president, we've never had a black president either; but that's different. 2. She's pro-abortion, and even late-term abortion! No, wait - I believe that's someone currently in the office who holds those views. 3. Does she have something to hide? I wonder, since we can't seem to find out anything about her grades and her accomplishments while attending college! Oh boy, I'm wrong again! I believe that's also someone currently in office that I'm thinking about. 4. She doesn't have the background or...

Browsing Liberal Sites you would get the feeling that the even the ultra left are mad as hell with Barack Obama, and with the way the country is going. The fear is growing. Their biggest issues and causes to join forces, like global warming, are starting to fall apart.

This is a surprising result from Public Policy Polling, the occasionally partisan group which nonetheless called the New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial races accurately. Mitt Romney’s favorable rating among Republican voters has fallen to 48 percent–a plurality, but a weak one. And the trend lines are even more interesting. Since April, when PPP started asking the question, Sarah Palin’s favorable number has moved from 76 percent to 75 percent; Mike Huckabee’s has moved from 67 percent to 65 percent. Romney, alone, has seen a statistically significant drop from 60 percent down to 48. The results are so strange that PPP’s...

A new Rasmussen survey shows that President Barack Obama is tied with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. The poll of 800 likely voters also suggests that a third-party presidential candidate - in this case former CNN broadcaster Lou Dobbs - would help Obama.
-
It’s not too early, apparently, to test opinion on the 2012 presidential race. Pollster Scott Rasmussen has asked likely voters to decide between Barack Obama and three reasonably well-known Republicans, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin. He also asked about their preferences in three-way pairings between those candidates and recently-resigned CNN commentator Lou Dobbs. There are three interesting findings. Number one. Obama is essentially tied with all three Republicans, leading Huckabee 45%-41% and Palin 46%-43% and even with Romney at 44%-44%. In other words, Obama is running at his job approval ratinRg level, which Rasmussen has at 46%-54%. This...

Is Sarah Palin really intending to run for President in 2012? Or is it all a diversion just set herself up to reclaim Ted Steven's old senate seat for the GOP in 2014? I hope it's the latter, she could better serve the GOP in the Senate. Plus, it would really be a burr under the saddle of the Democratic Jackass.

In the spring of 1964, Sarah Heath, then just three months old, flew into backwater Skagway, Alaska (population 650) aboard a 1930s-era Grumman Goose to start a new life with her parents, brother, and sister. At that same time, in America's other new outlier state, Hawaii, two-year-old Barry Obama was just getting used to a fatherless existence in the otherwise-comfortable world his white grandparents and occasionally his mother would make for him. At the time, not even Nostradamus could have foretold that the paths of Barry and Sarah would intersect in the "historic" 2008 election, Barry as the first major...

KENNEWICK -- Cynthia and Gary Waddoups weren't shy to admit Thursday that they were on a mission to meet Sarah Palin. Dressed in jeans and coats, the Kennewick couple stood near the start line of the Turkey Trot hoping to see the woman they want back on the campaign trail for a run at the White House. The Waddoupses weren't running or walking in the annual charity race. But Palin, in town to visit relatives for the Thanksgiving holiday, had pre-registered to join 3,000 others on the course, and her notoriety attracted a mass of onlookers in Columbia Park. "Sorry,...

We had the chance to talk with her earlier today at the 6th Annual Turkey Trot and she was full of energy. "This is so encouraging, nice warm reception. I should have expected it because it's the Tri-Cities, and amazing hospitable people live here, we love it," said Palin. Sarah Palin was surrounded by hundreds including a handful of supporters from Alaska. The former Vice Presidential candidate has taken a few days off her nationwide book tour to spend her Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. She has two aunts in town and deep roots in the Tri-City area. "It's...

I was not at all surprised to hear that Rudy Giuliani has lately expressed views that welcome the rising prominence of Sarah Palin in the GOP. Giuliani is the archetype of the politicians who wear the Republican label but staunchly support the pro-abortion agenda. Of course, he imitates the pro-abortion Democrats by using the "pro-choice" label to dress his position in deceptively American garb. The use of that term is one of the most clever rhetorical ploys in the history of American politics. If the slaveholders had thought of it, people like me might still be doing stoop labor...

Sarah Palin will be the main attraction at what's being billed as the "First National Tea Party Convention." Tea Party Nation announced Wednesday that last year's Republican vice presidential candidate will serve as keynote speaker for the conference, scheduled to take place in Nashville, Tennessee February 4-6. A representative for Palin has confirmed the former Alaska governor's speaking role at the gathering.

We have a few more weeks, folks, to gather our thoughts and political weapons, and then 2010 is upon us. It will be a mad dash to the finish line, and we have a lot of priorities: Kill healthcare, kill Cap & Trade, pursue terrorists wherever they hide, win primaries, and stand atop Capitol Hill with the Conservative Flag in November. Horowitz is an old warrior. He's a good place to start.

With the peaceful town of Wasilla, Alaska but a speck in Sarah Palin’s rear view mirror these days, the former Governor of Alaska is once again making news on the national scene with the kickoff of her “Going Rogue” book tour. Here in the Star City she is no less popular than she was when making campaign stops last fall to crowds that would make any seasoned politician swoon. Her appearance in Salem last year drew over 16,000 in spite of frigid weather, and her Barnes & Noble book signing event this past Sunday brought people out in droves in...

Sarah Palin and I have little in common politically. I disagree with her on foreign policy, economic policy and Roe v. Wade—I am a pro-choice Democrat. But one thing Mrs. Palin and I share is that we're both parents of beautiful children who happen to have intellectual disabilities. And much as I disagree with Mrs. Palin on various political issues, I was struck when she talked about the cruel attacks on her son Trig in a TV interview last week. [...] I had a personal taste of this at a conference I recently attended for children with disabilities. An obstetrician...

This past weekend, SNL goofed on the 2012 disaster film by mocking up a fake movie trailer to make the film's title be about Sarah Palin running for president with Glenn Beck as vice-president. I can't find a clip online, but it was amusing. Anyway, today Politico writes:

Publisher’s Weekly confirmed that she sold 700,000 copies of “Going Rogue” in its first week out of 2.5 million copies. “Going Rogue” sold 7 times as many copies at the book stores as “The Audacity Of Hope” sold in its first week, Nielsen reported. Her latest post on Facebook mirrored my own feelings on liberal priorities: Congress Never Ceases to Amaze Yesterday at 7:51pm Really? A tax on national defense? I hear liberal Congressional proposals and I, like most Americans, wonder if they’re serious. We’re going to put a price tag on security? With Congress and President Obama spending money...

When the Obama Administration proclaimed victory on October 1st by announcing that a break-through had been reached in Geneva and that Iran had committed to shipping 2,600 pounds of fuel to Russia, expert Iran watchers were appropriately cynical. Bolton cautioned, yet again, that the Iranians had used some of the same diplomatic nuances they had been using for years to successfully buy more time to continue enriching uranium and fake cooperation with the international community. Usually, the Europeans were the first to take the bait but this time the Obama Administration got hooked first. Bolton, however, was the first to...

PASCO — Sarah Palin is excited to be in the Tri-Cities. Moments after arriving by private jet Wednesday evening from Orlando, Fla., she told reporters, "It's kind of surreal. But it's really good to be back in the Tri-Cities to reconnect with the roots." The former Alaska governor's last visit with family here was about a year ago, she said during an impromptu news conference as she held her son Trig and her daughter Piper stood next to her.

Since today is usually a slow news day, I thought it would be interesting to look back on the first half of Governor Palin's Going Rogue book tour. Day 1: Wednesday November 18, 2009 Governor Palin began her much anticipated book tour at the Barnes and Noble store in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wednesday evening. In what was a hint of things to come for the rest of the book tour, people began lining up in the chilly November air the day before, many staying outside all night in order to ensure they could get their books signed by Governor...

Spitting and drooling on MSNBC's Hardball, Chris Matthews said, "President Obama has his chin out on just about every hot issue out there.... He’s exposed and vulnerable. His poll numbers are dropping. Is he just too darned intellectual? Too much the egg head?" Tingles notwithstanding, where do you suppose Matthews got that notion? It can't be because of Obama's lofty scholastic achievements. Not only has he adamantly refused to release his transcripts, he's spent upwards of $2 million, employing every legal trick in the book to hide them. It can't be because of Obama's scholarly papers. In the 13 years...

“I think that she’s not anywhere near the person that sometimes she’s been portrayed to be –- as completely lacking of any intellectual capacity.” –Mike Huckabee, subtly putting the stress on the word “completely.” Is this emerging as the new party line on Palin among other top Republican politicians? Last week, Haley Barbour told Chris Matthews that Palin is “a lot brighter than she gets credit for,” and on yesterday’s @katiecouric, Fox News Channel host and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee trotted out a similar-sounding soundbite. Huckabee did go with the ‘Palin has more executive experience than Obama’ line, which...

CINCINNATI — Each of the stores that Sarah Palin has lined up for her book tour has just three hours with the former Alaska governor in-store to try to move the minimum of 2,500 copies of “Going Rogue” publisher HarperCollins mandates a store must order in exchange for her visit. So far, that hasn’t proved difficult. With 29 announced stops, that adds up to at least 72,500 copies of her book — just from the stores she’s visiting. During the tour, Palin is not being staffed by Meg Stapleton, her longtime trusted right hand. Instead, she’s accompanied everywhere by Tina...

Over three hundred years ago, a group of settlers fleeing religious persecution decided to set a new course for human history in a new frontier. Those early pioneers chose a rocky shoreline to establish their way of life. Centuries later, America continues to set the example of what can come from a free and hardworking people. We truly remain the shining city upon a hill that the colonial leader John Winthrop implored us to be. What started as a small colony in the territory that would eventually become the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has progressed into the greatest and most prosperous...

Sarah Palin is keeping a tight lid on her political ambitions for 2012, but her influence on other would-be politicians can by seen by the growing number of women she has inspired to seek public office. Sarah Palin is keeping a tight lid on her political ambitions for 2012, but her influence on other would-be politicians can by seen by the growing number of women she has inspired to seek public office. Watch out James Patterson, Stephen King and Dan Brown. Sarah Palin has you beat — at least this week. All that experience on the campaign trail has served Palin well. The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, who is popular among many U.S. conservatives, has excelled in the first week of her multi-state, campaign-style media tour to promote her new book which was released on Nov. 17. The former Alaskan governor’s memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life” topped the charts in its first week of publication. Nielsen Bookscan said the new author eclipsed best-sellers Patterson and King whose books also debuted...

Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday did not rule out running for president alongside Fox News host Glenn Beck in 2012. Palin was asked during an interview with Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” about the chances that she “would run on a ticket with Fox’s own Glenn Beck,” as the conservative outlet Newsmax reported might be a possibility in 2012. “I saw that, I saw that; he probably got a kick out of that,” Palin said. “It was just a hoot, too, to hear such a thing.” “I don’t know,” she said. “We’ll see, we’ll see.” Palin did...

It is now extremely clear how the democrats plan to pursue their toxic legislative agenda in spite of overwhelming opposition to their plans. And how they plan to combat the consequences of their toxic actions in the 2010 election. They are going to use the taxpayers money to buy support from the unions and special interests. YOUR money will be used against YOU to allow these corrupt politicians to continue to pursue their toxic agenda. A clear example … In what is being reported as the “Second Louisiana Purchase,” the democrats have modified the Obamacare legislation to provide at least...

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Tuesday night that the attacks on Sarah Palin, his former vice presidential running mate, are unlike anything he has ever seen. “I’m entertained and sometimes a little angry when I see this constant, vicious attacks by people on the left,” McCain said of Palin during an interview with Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren. “I’ve never seen anything like it in all the years that I’ve been in politics,” McCain continued, “the viciousness and the personalization of the attacks on Sarah Palin.”
