The Wikipedia page for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was revised on Tuesday with all biographical information removed and replaced with a large, single Palestinian flag. The Wikipedia user responsible for the message, who uses the handle “TSKAero 1,” also changed the Israeli Defense Force’s description Tuesday afternoon to “the bunch of people randomly and unrepentantly murdering innocent Palestinian civilians,” the New York Daily News reported.

A great many of us pride ourselves on the subtlety of our minds, and on recognizing the complexities, both moral and practical, of the world, and this is a very good impulse. But when this impulse is raised to the level of dogma, it risks obscuring more than it clarifies. There are some occasions–yes, few, but some–when the moral calculus is exceedingly simple. I used to have a great personal interest in the policy detail of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I could lecture at length on the subtleties of Camp David, Taba, the Road Map; on the different kinds of settlements;...

Israel accepts an Egyptian-proposed Gaza cease-fire; Hamas keeps firing. Hamas deliberately aims rockets at civilians; Israel painstakingly tries to avoid them, actually telephoning civilians in the area and dropping warning charges, so-called roof knocking. “Here’s the difference between us,” explains the Israeli prime minister. “We’re using missile defense to protect our civilians, and they’re using their civilians to protect their missiles.” Rarely does international politics present a moment of such moral clarity. Yet we routinely hear this Israel-Gaza fighting described as a morally equivalent “cycle of violence.” This is absurd. What possible interest can Israel have in cross-border fighting? Everyone...

Following yesterday's failed cease-fire, an Israeli naval gunboat has reportedly struck seven children near the port in Gaza, killing at least four. One remains in critical condition. Moments earlier, the kids had been playing soccer with a reporter from NBC, who witnessed the attack firsthand. Dozens of other journalists were nearby.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has asked the IEC not to risk the lives of its employees in trying to restore power. Seventy thousand Gazans from Khan Younis and Deir el-Balah were in the dark Sunday night after a Hamas rocket hit the power line that supplies electricity to those places. It's not clear when Israel Electric Company workers will be able to repair the system, but they are apparently in no rush to do so. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has asked the IEC not to risk the lives of its employees in trying to restore power to the affected sector...

In a remarkable article, “Grand Larceny,” Chloe Valdary powerfully reminds the reader that the Palestinian Arabs have succeeded in reversing the true narrative of Eretz Yisrael.1 They have to a great degree succeeded in convincing people around the world that their land was stolen from them by Israel and the Jews.

As of Thursday afternoon, on the third day of Operation Protective Edge, the end of this conflict was nowhere in sight. Hamas had fired hundreds of rockets into Israel, reaching into distant and unexpected areas such as Dimona, Mitzpe Ramon, and Zichron Yaakov. The attacks, however, had not brought any loss of Israeli life. The Israeli Air Force, for its part, had bombed hundreds of targets in the Gaza Strip, without causing substantial damage to Hamas’s rocket stockpiles or command structure.

The error came during Wednesday night’s edition of ‘World News,’ in which anchor Diane Sawyer described the people in an Associated Press photo as Israelis who had been attacked by Palestinian missiles. Later, a pro-Palestinian reporter, Rania Khalek, identified the people as Palestinians who had been attacked by Israeli air strikes. The network posted an apology on the show’s Facebook page.Red-faced ABC News officials apologized early Thursday morning for misidentifying shell-shocked Palestinians as Israeli victims of a Hamas missile attack. TEL AVIV, ISRAEL -- I pay lots of taxes. Some of my money supports U.S. Special Forces, and that pleases me. I have no problem helping fund the U.S. Park Service or the Centers for Disease Control. I am, however, a tad uneasy about my tax dollars -- and yours --going to support terrorists. You think I’m joking? The U.S. government gives more than $400 million a year to the Palestinian Authority (PA). Last week, the Israeli prime minister’s office presented figures on the PA’s payments to terrorists imprisoned in Israel: In 2011-2012, the PA’s Ministry of Prisoners Affairs transferred...

It’s time to end aid to the Palestinian Authority. This week, three young boys were buried in Israel. The victims of kidnapping, they had been murdered by terrorists from Hamas. The boys, Eyal Yifrach, 19; Gilad Shaar, 16; and Naftali Frenkel, a 16-year-old dual U.S.–Israeli citizen, were like any other children — their lives ready to be lived, their dreams ahead of them. They grew up in a nation that was at war but desperately wanted peace. Advertisement It is a peace they did not live to see, nor will others their age if action is not taken. The Obama...

World leaders were unanimous Wednesday in condemning the killing of Mohammad Abu Khdeir, a 16-year-old Palestinian who was most likely kidnapped and murdered in revenge for the death of three Israeli teens that were abducted and recently found dead in the West Bank. In a series of posts on Twitter, National Security Adviser Susan Rice said the US is paying close attention to the investigation into the death of 17-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir. She also offered condolences to his family and the Palestinian people. US Secretary of State John Kerry also condemned the murder, calling the act "sickening" and saying,...

"Moderate" Palestinian Authority (PA) leader Dr. Mustafa Barghouti accused Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu himself of being responsible for the murder of teens Naftali Frenkel (16), Gilad Sha'ar (16), and Eyal Yifrah (19) on Tuesday. Barghouti went on to justify the murders, claiming Palestinian Arabs cannot be held responsible for their actions. "First of all, let me tell you, I am sorry for the deaths of anybody - including these three people and also for the ten Palestinians, who were killed by the Israeli Army this week," Barghouti began, in an interview with CNN. At the end of his visit in the “Gilboa” Detention Center, Boulos said that the political prisoners, some of whom are already on a hunger strike, have said the strike would go on without limitations. ...
