At least a dozen U.S. National Security Agency employees have been caught using secret government surveillance tools to spy on the emails or phone calls of their current or former spouses and lovers in the past decade, according to the intelligence agency's internal watchdog. The practice is known in intelligence world shorthand as "LOVEINT" and was disclosed by the NSA Office of the Inspector General in response to a request by the Senate Judiciary Committee's top Republican Charles Grassley for a report on abuses of the NSA's surveillance authority.

The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee says his panel will probe President Donald Trump's allegations that Trump Tower was wire-tapped by President Obama's administration. Rep. Devin Nunes, Rep for California, said his committee 'will make inquiries into whether the government was conducting surveillance activities on any political party's campaign officials or surrogates', the chair said in a statement Sunday afternoon. Earlier Sunday, Senate Intelligence Committee member, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., suggested his committee would look into the matter as well. 'We've already begun an inquiry on the intelligence committee into Russia's efforts to undermine confidence in our political system,'...

According to the woman, she and a co-worker were planning in October to attend a Sarah Palin rally in Colorado Springs but wanted to travel to the Springs the night before. She told police that she mentioned the planned trip to Bartleson. He offered to keep her 5-year-old son overnight in Pueblo and then drive up to Colorado Springs the next day and meet them there. She accepted Bartleson’s offer. The woman said that her son told her that while at Bartleson’s home, Bartleson insisted on giving him a bath, during which he was sexually molested. Later, said the child,...

The U.S. Army depicted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as an insider threat in a Powerpoint presentation to soldiers on cyber security. A photograph of Mrs. Clinton, who lost the Nov. 8 presidential race, is depicted along with two murderers, two leakers of classified information and one who mishandled secrets. Mrs. Clinton, as secretary of State, exclusively used a home-based server to handle all her government emails, instead of a more secure state.gov address. Some contained highly classified information and the FBI said the server was vulnerable to foreign intrusion. She was not charged. The others depicted: Food Hood...

U.S. President Barack Obama pledged $7 billion Sunday to help combat frequent power blackouts in sub-Saharan Africa. Funds from the initiative, dubbed Power Africa, will be distributed over the next five years. Obama made the announcement during his trip to South Africa, the continent's biggest economy. "Access to electricity is fundamental to opportunity in this age. It's the light that children study by, the energy that allows an idea to be transformed into a real business. It's the lifeline for families to meet their most basic needs, and it's the connection that's needed to plug Africa into the grid of...

Disturbing reports are coming in that Twitter has taken down a photo that showed President Barack Hussein Obama holding something truly despicable. The image reportedly showed Obama holding the book "The Post-American World," which was written by radical Muslim author Fareed Zakaria. "In the book, Zakaria argues that, thanks to the actions of the United States in spreading liberal democracy across the world, other countries are now competing with the US in terms of economic, industrial, and cultural power," the Wikipedia description read. "While the US continues to dominate in terms of political-military power, other countries such as China and...

    After losing her second Presidential election, Hillary Clinton was, reportedly, set to retire from politics and use her time for more industrious pursuits, such as haunting the woods near her Chappaqua estate like some sort of pantsuitted Yeti. But it turns out that while her Presidential aspirations may have passed, she may be considering other political offices, including New York City mayor. Sources told Newsmax that Clinton has been discussing the possibility with close friends and strategists, and that her prospects look good—much better than if she were to take a third crack at a Democratic...
  • [ From January 10, 2000 ] The Clintons Shrug At Sex Trafficking

Over the past few months the Clinton administration has lobbied for the United Nations to adopt a protocol that would lend legitimacy to prostitution and hard-core pornography. This effort has been spearheaded by the President's Interagency Council on Women, a group whose honorary chairman is none other than Hillary Rodham Clinton. Although the proposal has drawn opposition from across the political spectrum, the administration is forging ahead with its plans. To secure its goal, the Clinton administration must effectively repeal an existing U.N. convention that strictly forbids prostitution and requires punishment of any person who "procures, entices or leads away,...

And then there was only Wisconsin. As widely expected, US District Court Judge Paul S. Diamond denied a demand from Jill Stein to order a statewide recount in Pennsylvania. Time had run out on that option, Diamond ruled, and he did not want to “disenfranchise some six million Pennsylvania voters.” A federal judge rejected a Green Party-backed request to recount paper ballots in Pennsylvania’s presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and scan some counties’ election systems for signs of hacking. So far, no publication of the order has emerged, but this outcome was all but certain on Friday. The...

....Clinton is so far ahead of Donald Trump in the race for the presidency that she no longer even feels the need to pay attention to the Republican nominee. Buoyed by a double digit lead in some national polls, Mrs Clinton has said she is now looking past Mr Trump entirely, and will no longer counter allegations made by her rival. "I don’t even think about responding to him anymore,” Mrs Clinton said when asked about Mr Trump’s charge that American media outlets are in cahoots with her presidential campaign.

WASHINGTON, United States — Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein dropped her efforts Saturday to request a vote recount in Pennsylvania, one of three battleground states won by Donald Trump where she is challenging the results. “Petitioners are regular citizens of ordinary means. They cannot afford to post the $1,000,000 bond required by the court,” read a filing submitted in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. On Twitter, she later added: “#Recount2016 is so expensive because of elected leaders who have refused to invest in a 21st-century voting system.”
