Reader Ron e-mails that the Obama campaign has issued a decree banning all signs at a rally today at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. It is a public campus on public property. The local newspaper, the Fredericksburg Free Lance Star is up in arms: NOT ALL COUNTRIES guarantee their citizens the right to virtually unbridled freedom of speech. The United States does. Would someone please tell the campaign of Sen. Barack Obama? And the dozing guardians of liberty at the University of Mary Washington?Mr. Obama, the Democratic nominee for president, is scheduled to speak at a rally at the...

John McCain is portraying Barack Obama as the product of Chicago's corrupt political machine in a new TV ad that showcases Illinois' scandalous side. In the 30-second ad, voters are introduced to Gov. Rod Blagojevich's "legacy of state and federal investigations," Senate President Emil Jones Jr.'s "ethical cloud," William Daley as a "lobbyist" and "money man" Tony Rezko as an Obama's "patron" turned "convicted felon." Rezko was a major force in the early days of Obama's career and he helped him buy his Hyde Park mansion a few years ago. Rezko was convicted this year as the architect of a...

Here's the issue. For the sake of argument, let's just say Barack Obama was correct in what he was saying. Was there any reason to be yelling at the elderly lady questioning you? Sure, maybe it ruffled his feathers. Sure, her tone was a little confrontational. So what? As President, many many people will be doing exactly that. Every time someone questions Obama or gets a little confrontational with him, is he going to lose his composure and yell at them, too?

Bluebird to Nest-egg, Operation Scout the "O" a go. Just kidding. Anyway, stopped by Metro Park to see what the Dems are up to, size of crowd. Long lines. Heard numbers of 14,000 - very possible, yet can't see into park. In addition to cameras being banned, no cell phones are allowed being blared by volunteers on bullhorns. No lawn chairs either, nor food or drink. Hyper-controlling Dems for ya there. Saw one guy holding an "Abortion is Black Genocide" sign and "Abraham Lincoln was a Republican". Gave him a nod and a thumbs up. After a few minutes, I...
  • Exclusive: Obama’s Disrespectful Behavior at Ground Zero

It is difficult to screw up an appearance at Ground Zero on September 11th. You have to be either completely oblivious or completely indifferent. It is a signal feat of idiocy. And yet Barack Obama accomplished it. John McCain and Obama visited Ground Zero together. Obama and McCain entered the site. But while McCain took the time to shake hands with uniformed firefighters and a construction worker with an American flag helmet, Obama ignored them and stood around. But he wasn’t done yet. Both McCain and Obama brought roses to place on the makeshift 9/11 memorial. Obama casually tossed his...
