There is lots of talk about the "fiscal cliff" the U.S. faces at year end, as stimulus and tax cuts go away... For 59 out of the last 60 weeks, the weekly jobless numbers have been revised, after the fact, always in the same direction: higher. That's unheard of... The Bureau of Labor Statistics says the unemployment rate is dropping, and fell from 10% in October 2009 to 8.2% now. That’s got the White House and media pundits saying an economic recovery has taken place, and that the President’s stimulus bill, which cost more than $750 billion to date, has...

Posting this in chat, because it is just an observation. I would love to hear other's opinions. The years following 9/11, I recall the media and liberals (the same, I know) worry ferociously about whether or not we were "creating more terrorists" by fighting against terrorism. Remember "enraging the Arab street" and other lines? I notice that line of thought has been noticeably LACKING in the lapdog media when it covers the current Oval Office occupier's continuation of the BUSH policy... In other words, no one seems to be concerned that we have turned Osama bin Laden into a "martyr"...

As usual with this president, Obama's trip to and speech from Afghanistan had way more to do with politics than any real substance. Seven thousand miles, one way, is a long journey to share war remarks with countrymen that he should have and could have shared back home many months ago. Despite the administration's best backgrounding sales efforts, the document he signed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai is a meaningless basic agreement to talk later about forging a real agreement. Nothing was essentially changed by what the media lovingly called his "secret trip" to the war zone, which was simply...

Commentary on: President Obama is a great campaigner, a fact that cannot be denied. But, to parade the Killing of Bin-Laden around as if it's the Stanley cup is in bad taste and his poll numbers will soon reflect this faux pas. President Obama's was given proper due at the time of the Bin-Laden operation. Despite the life-and-death issues at stake, the Obama campaign has begun a re-election effort based largely on Rule 5 of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It's hard to counterattack ridicule..." The reason is simple: personal attacks and mockery worked so well in reducing Sarah Palin to a negative caricature that any formidable opponent now automatically receives the Palin treatment from the Obama camp and its obedient media. Ideally the two campaigns would agree to avoid such attacks, yet it's already too late. The Obama team is eagerly collecting Romney's alleged gaffes, and has begun...

Shortly before his untimely death, conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart vowed that during the current election cycle, President Barack Obama would finally be vetted. Sadly Mr. Breitbart is no longer here to keep that promise and the mainstream media continues to obfuscate our Candidate-in-Chief's past, but others are taking on the task of digging up the truth. This week the buried facts concern Mr. Obama's college transcripts and an alleged incident with his 'New York girlfriend' Genevieve Cook described in detail in his autobiography.

In fact, Carter believes the president is facing the same dilemma he did: JIMMY CARTER, FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: Sen. Prominent Fox News Channel anchor Bret Baier has posted an explanation on the network’s website of why he believes Barack Obama is eligible to be president. However, Harvard-educated Jerome Corsi, author of Where’s the Birth Certificate? says Baier isn’t quite on track yet. “Baier incorrectly interprets that 8 USC Section 1401 was written to define ‘natural born citizen,’ as specified in Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution,” he said. “The purpose of 8 USC Section 1401 is to define ‘nationals’ and ‘citizens’ of the United States ‘at birth.’” Corsi explained that citizens at birth are not “natural born citizens”...

At least six people have been killed in several large explosions in the Afghan capital Kabul, shortly after US President Barack Obama paid a surprise visit to the country. Sediq Sediqi, a spokesperson for Afghanistan's interior ministry, said one of the first blasts, a suicide car bomb, occurred on Wednesday morning near the Jalalabad road, a main thoroughfare of the city. Sediqi said the blast killed four people inside a civilian car, as well as a passerby and a security guard of a nearby building. The Afghan Taliban claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack which police said targeted a...
  • $10,000 bounty offered online for Obama college transcripts

A faceless organization calling itself “The Trenches” is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who can provide an authentic copy of President Barack Obama’s course transcripts from his days at Occidental College, Harvard University or Columbia University. “You’ve failed, media,” an undated statement on its one-page website reads. “You’ve had over three years to vet President Barack Obama. Yet in three years in office and over a year of campaigning beforehand, you have either been oddly uninterested or purposefully ignorant of Barack Obama’s educational history.”

Barack Obama's mother was secretly in contact with his estranged father during his entire childhood without the future president's knowledge, a new book claims. Ann Dunham gave Barack Obama Sr regular updates about his life during the 1960s and 70s and even sent him school reports. It was not until the 1980s that Mr Obama became aware of the contact between the two - but he still did not forgive his father for being an absent dad. The claims are made in a new book by Mr Obama's half sister Auma in which she reveals that their father was routinely...

  • Romney Tries to Channel Reagan, Gets Obama Instead

Much has been made of Mitt Romney’s failure to even once use the word “conservative” in his post-election speech on April 24. No big surprise here on that one – Romney has made it clear all during the primary season he plans to win the nomination, and if possible the November election, without conservative or Tea Party support, so why change now? While Romney’s failure to use the word “conservative” in his speech didn’t surprise us, one aspect of the speech was more than a little odd. It was obvious the speech was intended to make Romney sound like President...

When it was announced that President Obama had secretly flown off to Afghanistan to address the troops and tout his marvelous defeat of Osama Bin Laden one year ago, I began to reflect on other historic , victorious military commanders and their stalwart drive to fight wars with their own personal blood and treasure, as well their fellow countrymen's. As an American, I have special regard for those great United States military fighters, who for God and country, laid their lives down - such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Dwight Eisenhower, Patton, MacArthur and countless other American...
