President Donald Trump announced conservative Judge Neil Gorsuch as his pick for the US Supreme Court on Tuesday night. The pick was widely cheered by conservative and Republican leaders. But this would not have been possible if the #NeverTrump crowd would have had their way. Last night Sean Hannity went off on the Trump-hating #NeverTrump crowd of Republicans who fought throughout the year to make sure Donald Trump was defeated.

Jeff Sessions advanced in the Senate today to becoming our new Attorney General. All that is left between Sessions and being Attorney General is the final vote in the Senate for final confirmation. Once Sessions gets in, the fur is going to fly! The democrats know this, and they have done everything possible to bar Sessions from confirmation. They used an obscure rule to delay Sessions’ vote, which was supposed to happen Tuesday. Democrats on the committee gave lengthy speeches opposing him, triggering a rule that doesn’t allow the panel to be in session for two hours past the state...

I'm recalling the thing in Wizard of Id where Blanche, the wizard's wife says "It's a sin to waste food" and the wizard replies "The sin was committed before it got to me..." A more realistic adage related to food says that if there is ever any sort of a question about food, toss it; no meal is worth major stomach grief. In the case of Steve Mnuchin, the take I'm getting is that there are too many question marks in the picture and at least a couple of them are too big; in my view, the guy's nomination should...

The First Family have traded their sundresses and shorts for winter coats once more as they returned home after two weeks of vacation in Hawaii. A downbeat-looking Sasha and Malia departed Air Force One for what is likely the last time when they touched down at the Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Monday. Malia was wrapped up in a red coat and lace-up ankle boots, while Sasha kept warm in a fleece-lined denim jacket and knee-high boots. Following close behind them were Obama and Michelle, both of whom coordinated in black and gray ensembles that matched the East...

WESTON – In a startling development for the Rock n Roll community, world famous Rolling Stones guitarist and songwriter Keith Richards was found alive on Wednesday. Crew members said they found his animated body sitting beside an amp, picking at a guitar and murmuring some incomprehensible melody. Shocked but elated, the roadies took Richards back to the dressing rooms and covered his old broken body with designer scarves and skull rings. “It’s astounding” said longtime Rolling Stones roadie Steve Kruger, “to find him in this state is…well, it’s unexpected to say the least.” Richards, the grizzly-faced guitarist long thought to...

Over the course of the 2016 presidential campaign, liberal pundits loved to hand-wring about “norms,” namely with regard to how Trump had allegedly violated so many cherished ones. Trump infamously declined to preemptively endorse the veracity of the election results, and this was taken as a big, historic affront, warranting several days’ worth of continuous news coverage. In fairness, it’s probably true that Trump in some sense did defy longstanding “norms” by casting a degree of doubt over whether the election results could be trusted. But that’s history now. Let’s take a look at a new norm violation underway — and this...

New Day co-anchor Chris Cuomo on Thursday continued the media freak out over Donald Trump picking a climate change doubter to run the Environmental Protection Agency. He even outrageously compared those with similar beliefs to past opposition of interracial marriage. While discussing the appointment of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to run the EPA, Cuomo ranted to CNN co-anchor Alisyn Camerota, “People thought the world was flat.” He continued, “People thought blacks and whites shouldn't marry. People thought blacks shouldn't be equal. That doesn't mean you accept it as fact as a leader.”

Proposal: Award any child ( regardless of age) an official high school diploma from his local high school if they score above a certain level on the SAT, ACT, or GED exams. Why? 1) If the purpose of compulsory education laws is to produce literate and numerate citizens then scoring above a certain level on the SAT, ACT, or GED is proof of that. 2) Fewer students in school will reduce the number of teachers needed. This means fewer salaries, pensions, and benefits that must be paid by the taxpayers. It may even mean closing down and selling some schools...

Anyone who thought Trump might be "Bush-like" in his eagerness to "cross the aisle" and "work with the Democrats" might want to look at his hires. He has named a hard-line immigration guy, a no-global-warming guy, and currently the name of Rudy Guiliani is being floated as Secretary of State. (I know, I preferred John Bolton, but Rudy absolutely will take no nonsense from any foreign dictators) I'm sure, for his support of Trump, Bolton will still be well rewarded, perhaps as head of DHS. I expect to see Sarah Palin, Sheriff David Clark, and possibly Jeff Sessions somewhere, although...

I just watched Trump's latest rally in Newton, PA. He mentioned quite a few times tonight the black and hispanic communities and how bad things are for them under Democrat rule. I think it's great he is reaching out to them, but I believe he needs to do more than just mention them in his rallies. He needs to go into the inner cities. I know he went to Detroit back in early September, but he needs to do that again, not only in Detroit, but in Philly, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Cleveland and any other city in a battleground state....
