I'm hoping anyone here can help me. Several months ago, there was a thread called "Obama's Circle of Friends", I believe. In that thread is a post full of thumbnail pictures of friends &/or associates of Obama. When you run your cursor over a thumbnail, it would give you the name of that person; click onto the pic & it would take you to the info on who the person was & how they are connected to Obama. I had that thread saved to my "Favorites", but when I took my puter to the shop, it was erased. Please help...

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama saluted veterans and urged his countrymen to do the same this Memorial Day weekend, saying the nation has not always paid them proper respect. In his weekly radio and Internet address Saturday, Obama said people can honor veterans by sending a letter or care package to troops overseas, volunteering at health clinics or taking supplies to a homeless veterans center. He said it could also mean something as simple as saying "thank you" to a veteran walking by on the street. "We have a responsibility to serve all of them as well as they serve...

OBAMA AND DISHONOR AT NOTRE DAME BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is an avowed socialist, openly going about applying marxist dogma and principle to our free market and our nation as a whole. Now, at the commencment exercises at Notre Dame, Barack Hussein Obama was awarded an honorary law degree. Obama Abdicates US's Role As Superpower By James G. Wiles, For The Bulletin In 1916, Field Marshall Ludendorf returned to Berlin after a visit to the front-lines of Germany’s ally, the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His report to the Kaiser and the General Staff was to the point: “we are allied,” he said, “to a corpse.” Somehow, one doubts that thought occurred to the Leader of the Free World (as American presidents used to be styled) as he and the Mighty Michelle (credit: BBC) winged their way home from their triumphant European tour. The 61-point partisan gap in opinions about Obama's job performance is the result of a combination of high Democratic ratings for the president -- 88% job approval among Democrats -- and relatively low approval ratings among Republicans (27%).

Barack Obama promised during his campaign to "clean up both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue" with "the most sweeping ethics reform in history." He declared that his administration would "have the toughest ethics laws of any administration in history." But shouldn't that moral commitment extend to all of those he appoints, too? Papa Possum'sNew World Nursery RhymesPolitical Poetry for Traitorous Times Little Billy Pipebomb Little Billy Pipebomb     had a very misspent youth, forecasting Weather Underground,     a terrorist "for Truth". He and his buddies set their sights     to take the system down, then bombed the cops and then     The Congress and The Pentagon. Billy never went to prison     'cause he took it on the lam, and while he hid the things he did     he hatched some other plans, Like teaching Marx to kids,     launching political careers, a fuzzy "reformed" terrorist     with a bunch of crazy years. But on the day The Towers...

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A national poll suggests that three-quarters of the public thinks President-elect Barack Obama is a strong and decisive leader, the highest marks for a president-elect on that characteristic in nearly three decades. Seventy-six percent of Americans questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Wednesday said Obama is a strong and decisive leader. "That's the best number an incoming president has gotten on that dimension since Ronald Reagan took office in 1981," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. "The public's rating of his leadership skills is already as high as George W. Bush's was after 9/11 and...

Papa Possum'sNew World Nursery RhymesPolitical Poetry for Traitorous Times Chopenhange A little town called Freedom once stood out on the range when a wagon steered into the square with the banner "Chopenhange!" The wagon was well worn, its mule overcome with mange, and the wagon stopped, and set up shop to sell some Chopenhange. The Barker started calling, "Oyez! People what will you exchange? Absolve your Sin! Ring Justice in! All with some Chopenhange!" He motioned to a row of bottles dusty, wondrous, and strange, "I'll take anything to which you cling for an ounce of Chopenhange!" The people...

HONOLULU, Hawaii (AFP) — US president-elect Barack Obama is "monitoring" the deadly violence in the Gaza strip while he is on vacation in Hawaii, a spokesperson said Saturday. Obama, who takes office on January 20, "is closely monitoring global events, including the situation in Gaza," said his chief national security spokesperson Brooke Anderson. Anderson however emphasized that "there is one president at a time," a statement Obama has said often since he was elected on November 4.
  • Obama picks Bible for inauguration, but what verse?

(CNN) -- While President-elect Barack Obama will certainly be making history when he takes the oath of office on January 20, he'll also be repeating it -- by placing his hand on the same Bible Abraham Lincoln used during the inauguration of 1861. The Constitution does not require presidents to be sworn in on a Bible, though almost every chief executive since George Washington has chosen to do so. Presidents have differed greatly, however, on the question of which passage the Bible should be opened to during the swearing-in ceremony. It brings up the question of what -- if any...

Barack Obama wants to use the recession to remake the U.S. economy. "Painful crisis also provides us with an opportunity to transform our economy to improve the lives of ordinary people," Obama said His designated chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, is more direct: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste" So they will "transform our economy." Obama's nearly trillion-dollar plan will not merely repair bridges, fill potholes and fix up schools; it will also impose a utopian vision based on the belief that an economy is a thing to be planned from above. But this is an...

The continuing efforts of a fringe group of conservatives to deny Obama his victory and to lay the basis for the claim that he is not a legitimate president is embarrassing and destructive. The fact that these efforts are being led by Alan Keyes, an unhinged demagogue on the political fringe who lost a senate election to the then unknown Obama by 42 points should be a warning in itself. This tempest over whether Obama, the child of an American citizen, was born on American soil is tantamount to the Democrats' seditious claim that Bush "stole" the election in Florida...
