On Tuesday, video was posted to Twitter of a protestor ripping into a CBC reporter for suggesting that his children, who have traveled with him to Ottawa for the truckers' convoy, should be taken away and are in danger.

It’s not Trump supporters who are living in a fantasyland, but members of the corporate media who sense their power and influence waning. With the end of Donald Trump’s presidency fast approaching, we’ve seen a surge of columns and posts asserting that Republicans and Trump supporters have lost touch with reality. After four years of marinating in “falsehoods” and “disinformation”—a term that really just means “information I don’t like”—Trump’s backers are all turned around, we’re told. They believe much that isn’t so. David Brooks of The New York Times explains that these poor saps, most of whom, he says, are uneducated,...

VIDEO Okay, I am now convinced that the New York Times is NOT a partisan newspaper. How do I know this? Because a member of the New York Times Editorial Board told us so therefore it MUST be true. I am so relieved at finding out that the New York Times is as nonpartisan as ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, Facebook, Twitter, Google, and YouTube.

Two Maine news anchors resigned together at the end of Tuesday’s broadcast after “a longstanding battle with upper management over journalistic practices” including being expected to do politically unbalanced news, the Bangor Daily News reported. Cindy Michaels and Tony Consiglio announced at the end of WVII-TV’s 6 p.m. newscast that it would be their final broadcast together. “And finally tonight, this will be Tony and my final show together here on ABC 7,” Michaels said. “The last six years have been an interesting and enjoyable time for both of us as we have been the longest running news team in...

The Obama campaign recently released an attack ad that ended with the words, “Mitt Romney, Not One Of Us”. People pointed out that if Romney had an ad saying Obama was not one of us, he would have been criticized for making a racial attack. But, let’s look at the ad another way. Let’s assume that Obama is saying that, from Obama’s own political perspective, Romney is entirely alien to Obama’s political values. The “us” is Obama and his political allies. Let’s fact check the ad from that perspective. Let’s look at some of Obama’s political associates to see what...

After September 11th happened, Graydon Carter famously quipped, “I think it’s the end of the age of irony.” After Romney slayed Obama last week, I unfamously quipped, “Liberal bias in the media is dead,” which marked the official end of journalists kissing the president’s ass. We’ve already seen Bill Maher say things such as, “I gave Obama $1 million and from the looks of the debate, he spent it on weed!” and “Obama sure is smart, but I’m not sure if I’m gonna take his class next semester.” Soon Maher is going to form his opinions based on sources other...

The unreported story that upsets me the most! Obama’s campaign speeches regularly contain the claims that: 1.Bush’s tax cuts and de-regulation caused the recession, 2.Obama stopped the second Great Depression, 3.His policies are working, 4.A very slow recovery was inevitable, and 5.No one could have done any better. Investor’s Business Daily columnist, John Merline, shows that these claims are false. I am unable to transfer the chart - which is a must see in “5 claims - all false”, Here: http://www.realitybatslast.com/2012/10/10/5-claims-all-false/ The housing bubble, created primarily by government mandated easy loans for people who had little prospect of making payments,...

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what," Romney says in one clip. "There are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent on government, who believe that, that they are victims, who believe that government has the responsibility to care for them. Who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing." Adding to his argument about entitlement, Romney said his "job is not to worry about those people." "I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives," he added.

Last night, I watched a news segment of store owners, workers, and patrons fighting off armed criminals. The segment referred to it as "vigilantism", I and sane people call it self defense. They go on to interview a business owner who shot at and fought off some robbers, but then they go to some "expert" who describes fighting back as "suicide". They give two examples, a good man who tries to bludgeon a bad guy with a gun with a bottle but gets shot and a store worker who shoots at the robbers and gets fired for it. The former...

Payroll growth disappoints Jobless rate dips to 5.9%, though growth in payrolls is far weaker than economists had forecast. (news spin from 2003) NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - U.S. employers remained cautious in November despite robust economic growth in late summer, adding meager numbers to their payrolls, according to a government report Friday that fell far short of Wall Street forecasts. Payrolls outside the farm sector grew by 57,000 jobs, the Labor Department said, compared with a revised gain of 137,000 in October. The unemployment rate fell to 5.9 percent, the lowest level since March. Economists had forecast 150,000 new jobs...

In the early days of the Obama Presidency the relationship between White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and the Washington press corps was like a marriage made in heaven. Today, however, that relationship indicates possible trouble in paradise. The press as a whole had clearly assumed a cheerleading role for Barack Obama during the campaign and during the early days of the Administration. White House press conferences were thus characterized by lighthearted banter, humor, laughter, and easy questions that were noticeably lacking in the normal aggressive push to dig deeper into policy decisions.

An open letter to the local daily paper – almost every local daily paper in America: I remember reading All the President's Men and thinking: That's journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know. This housing crisis didn't come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration. It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor...

The two mortgage giants Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae — seized by the government September 7 before they went completely bankrupt, at a potential cost to taxpayers of more than $25 billion — have been in obvious trouble for much of the past five years — with criminal investigations, accounting scandals, firings, resignations, huge losses and warnings from the Federal Reserve that their huge portfolio of mortgage securities posed a risk to the overall financial system. But prior to this year, the watchdogs at ABC, CBS and NBC found time for only 10 stories on the financial health and management...

The Titanics of world media crashed, full speed ahead, into these new media options years ago. These people STILL don't realize that half of the world population that will ever buy cell phones already have done so; nor are their realizations of the world view in touch with the effects of such a change from one-way media to two-way media, but are still in shock that the Internet provided media coverage to bloggers that toppled "The Great and Powerful Oz" in the form of Dan Rather, while their news reports tried and failed, to make a fake story about toppling...

ON Hardball NBC anchor Brian Williams was asked by Chris Matthews if it was suprising that British muslims that had been exposed to western values, and where even British citizens would still hate us so much they would be willing to give up their lives to kill us. What was Brian Williams pontification? He said "we have guys on our side like that too. They are called Army Rangers and Navy Seals." What kind of mind would make that comparison. The question was what kind of hatered would overcome even a westernized muslin to want to die just to kill...

Yes,my comments on the Duke Lacrosse Case! At the exact moment it would be almost impossible to believe the Duke Lacrosse story could get any more bizarre comes one Raleigh News & Observer Columnist Ruth Sheehan in her April 13th column with a personal unsubstantiated allegation of rape against a male or males in her life TWENTY ONE years ago! ( or twenty, read carefully, it makes no sense) In two short sentences she publicly slanders every male with whom she has associated over the past two decades as well as a goodly number of females who she apparently could...

The Bias Arizona RepublicYears ago the Arizona Republic was a conservative newspaper -- oh how it has changed. One of it's most slanted feature is the letters to the Editors page. Not a day goes by without letters bashing Bush, bashing capitalism, bashing corporations or bashing the US Of A. The paper's defense might be that those are the only letter they receive. Wrong. I and several of my conservatives friends complain that letters refuting liberal lies are never printed. Here are some examples of letters that make my point: one that suggests the recent face transplant would be appropriate for...
