This evening watching a Johnny Carson show from 1978 on Antenna television network. It was very interesting to note the following... On his show it was shown in the 'guide' that Caitlyn Jenner was a guest on the show along with Rock Hudson. After showing the name of Caitlyn, it then showed the following info: "As himself, Bruce Jenner". An entire industry of revisionists will be required if this 'fad' should began to take on legs. If it were not laughable, the concept would be mind boggling.

Freepers, I am willing to pay for my music. I don't pirate. But there is a song---the theme song for a BBC series called "The Musketeers"---that I love. It is not available to buy anywhere, but there is a youtube extended video a guy edited together. How can I "rip" this into an MP3? I am told youtube has such a serice on its site, but it doesn't work for me.

Pete Fountain, whose easygoing, apparently effortless style on the clarinet and his perpetually sunny disposition made him a natural ambassador for New Orleans, died Saturday in New Orleans. NBC is celebrating Tony Bennett’s 90th birthday with a star-filled tribute airing in December. Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Steve Wonder and k.d. lang are among those who will perform with the pop singer, the network said Tuesday. More than 146,000 people attended the Saturday-Sunday outdoor event, according to organizers. The victims were identified as Derek Lee, 22, of San Francisco; Alyssa Dominguez, 21, of San Diego; and Roxanne Ngo, 22, of Chino Hills, the San Bernardino County coroner’s office said. Lee and Dominguez died early Sunday and Ngo died early Monday. Singer-actress Gloria DeHaven, the perky star of MGM musicals in the 1940s and a stalwart of show business for more than six decades, has died. She was 91. DeHaven, who made her screen debut in Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times (1936) as Paulette Goddard's kid sister — her father served as an assistant director on the film — died Saturday while in hospice care in Las Vegas, her daughter, Faith Fincher-Finkelstein, told The Hollywood Reporter.
