Two men were fatally shot inside a medical marijuana shop on Chester Avenue Wednesday, marking what may be the first homicides to occur inside a pot dispensary in Kern County. Bakersfield police spokeswoman Michaela Beard said the department received a call at 9:49 a.m. of a shooting inside First Reliable, a medical marijuana collective at 217 Chester Ave. Officers found two people dead inside. Two people were found dead in a Miami Gardens home Tuesday in what police are calling a double homicide. At about 9:35 a.m. police got a call to do a welfare check at 3451 NW 207th St. from a neighbor who had not seen the woman in the house for quite some time, Miami Gardens Police said.
