NEW YORK - Les Goodstein, president and chief operating officer of the Daily News, has joined News Corp., owner of the rival New York Post, as a senior vice president, the Post’s publisher announced Tuesday. When James Wolfensohn and Mort Zuckerman raised $14 million to buy the Gush Katif hothouses from Israeli farmers to give to the Palestinians, many people were surprised.
