Moore Lashes Out At CBS4 Over Wealth Questions Filmmaker Visits Occupy Denver Protesters November 3, 2011 6:29 PM DENVER (CBS4) – Filmmaker and activist Michael Moore joined a growing crowd at the “Occupy” Denver protest Thursday evening, but his encounter with CBS4 left him fuming when he was asked about whether he represented the “99 percent” that the protesters stand for, or the “1 percent” they claim to be rallying against. He appeared in Denver for a book signing event and visited the demonstration at Civic Center Park just before 6 p.m. Moore said a few words to the crowd...

No doubt they’ll come up with something really cool. Ronald Kessler’s Newsmax article today provides us with a hint: The tea party movement wants to achieve change through the political system. But Moore said Occupy Wall Street has different goals. “We’re no longer settling for we live in a democracy because we voted for a politician,” he said. The fact that police have now arrested close to 1,000 protesters underscores that they are willing to use violence and civil disobedience to achieve their ends. Ironically, they vilify millionaires and billionaires, yet their target includes left-wing heroes like President Barack Obama,...

Anti-capitalist film director Michael Moore has drawn fire in recent days for standing with the Occupy Wall Street protesters while failing to acknowledge that he is part of the “1 percent,” not the 99 percent. Now the director of “Capitalism: A Love Story” and other documentaries has come clean and admitted that he is indeed among the nation’s wealthiest citizens, but without providing details of just how rich he is. In a post titled “Life Among the 1%” on his blog “Open Mike,” Moore recalls how he made his first millions when he sold the distribution rights to his 1989...

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore plans to visit Occupy Oakland's re-established tent city today, according to his blog. At the end of an Thursday blog post entitled "Life Among the 1%," Moore writes "P.S. I will go to Oakland tomorrow afternoon to stand with Occupy Oakland against the out-of-control police." Moore is among a growing list of celebrities and organizations critical of the city's actions and Mayor Jean Quan's role in evicting protesters three days ago, when police moved in using tear gas and other devices. Injuries sustained by Iraq veteran Scott Olsen in the melee have sparked criticism from many...

"Moore: "They're kleptomaniacs, is what they are. They're out of control. I think there is some sort of sociopathic illness and they know what us to life in a kleptocracy. Where the kleptomaniacs run the show. This is going to spread. I said this last week, I said it two weeks ago when I first spoke with you. And the mainstream media was trying to pooh-pooh this, 'oh it's just a feud down there, don't worry.' Well what happened Saturday, not just here, but as you said in Boston, LA, in Chicago and elsewhere."

Liberals:Barack Obama: "We're the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad." President Obama to a Black audience: "Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes. Shake it off. Stop complainin'. Stop grumblin'. Stop cryin'. We are going to press on. We have work to do." Obama on Black unemployment being nearly double the national average at 16.7 percent: "It gets folks discouraged. I know. I listen to some of y'all,” President Barack Obama: "The Republicans in Congress call this class warfare. Well you know what? If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as plumber or teacher...

It is no small irony that the Hero of the DUmmies is a rich fat white guy. Michael Moore, Thicko himself, would be crowned the King of the DUmp, if there was such a thing. What's moore, some of the DUmmies would rather have Mikie for President than the guy that's in there now. Today we check out two Moore threads, this THREAD,"Michael Moore: 'ENOUGH!'" and this THREAD, "Michael Moore: I went into the polls to vote for a black man and got a white man!" But before we get to those threads, we sing this tribute to the...

The front of Wednesday’s New York Times Arts section featured Dwight Garner’s review of the new book by left-wing documentary film-maker Michael Moore, “Here Comes Trouble -- Stories From My Life.” Garner, a fan, called Moore (infamous for his anti-conservative conspiracy theories and vicious, purposely misleading mockery of Republicans) a “necessary irritant,” and in one nauseating paragraph suggested Moore’s book belonged alongside works by the revolutionary founding activist Thomas Paine.

Best bet for the American left? Matt Damon. A suggestion by outspoken liberal filmmaker Michael Moore became an Internet sensation on Wednesday. Since he urged the 41-year-old actor to run for president of the United States on the weekend, the idea has gained traction on both political blogs and Hollywood websites. A big name like Mr. Damon might help secure electoral victory, the director of Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 said while taking part in a virtual town-hall discussion hosted by the blog FireDogLake over the weekend. “I think that he has been very courageous in not caring about...

IS THIS A MARRIAGE MADE IN ‘HEAVEN,’ OR WHAT? When Keith Olbermann was fired resigned from MSNBC last year, it broke a little piece of my conservative blogger’s heart. No longer would I be able to sit down at the computer and read the latest article about something hysterical that Olbermann, or one of his socialist guests had ranted about the night before. The best stories were always the ones that included video; Olbermann or one of the looniest of loons spewing vitriolic hatred was all it took to warm the cockles of my right-wing heart. It was always extra...

Ironically, that would be Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. Say what you want about them, but they are consistent. We live in a Bizarro world at the moment. Good is bad, down is up and night is day. The Obama zombie supporters voted for a candidate who was against rendition, warrantless wiretapping, indefinite detention, black prisons and military tribunals and they have gotten the diametric opposite. They now applaud him and themselves, covered in the slime of their denials that all the infrastructure leading to the death of Osama Bin Laden was set in place by George W. Bush...

No, Radley Balko and Michael Moore, Bin Laden did NOT win. He did not change America forever for the worse. America is part of the Human experience and Human civilization has been progressing in fits and starts since the beginning. Bin Laden simply set us (America and all humans) back a bit and has joined the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Mugabe, Jong-il and a long list of others who have attempted to exert their malignant ideologies. And Bin Laden did NOT achieve all he wanted. You can't be serious! Did Hitler achieve all he wanted? Did Mugabe? Stalin? No....

Already? That didn’t take long. From Michael Moore’s feral website, “Osama bin Laden killed in mansion (not cave) in Pakistan (not Iraq or Afghanistan) by small strike force in country with NO U.S. ground war.” But didn’t the ground war drive bin Laden out of the caves to a mansion? Without a ground war, he wouldn’t be in Pakistan, right? Nazis were also driven out of Germany. Or, as I’d respond: Adolf Otto Eichmann captured in Buenos Aires (not Germany) by small team of Mossad and Shin Bet agents (not seasonal anti-war pacifists). Does that doesn’t mean liberating Europe was...

DENVER, Colo. -- The man police said planted a pipe bomb at a Littleton mall was released from prison one week before the incident. A nation-wide manhunt is underway for Earl Albert Moore, 65, who's accused of planting the explosives Wednesday, the anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings. Moore is considered armed and dangerous. The FBI confirmed that he had been serving time in a Georgia prison for a 2005 armed robbery in West Virginia. Moore had been sentenced to 18 years, but was released early on April 13. Authorities said just seven days later, he planted a pipe...

Liberals on Tax Day: 'Make the Wealthy Pay' Monday, April 18, 2011 By Susan Jones (CNSNews.com) - America is not broke, liberal activists say. The problem is that many corporations and millionaires are not paying their "fair share" of taxes. Supporters of MoveOn.Org have organized more than 300 gatherings around the nation on Monday to demand higher taxes on corporations and wealthy Americans who are "raking it in and continue to get tax break after tax break." Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported on Monday that while wealthy Americans pay less tax than they did a couple of decades ago, 45...
