President-elect Trump will hold a second meeting with Mitt Romney this week to discuss the position of secretary of state, much to the chagrin of some in his circle who have said Romney is undeserving of the top diplomatic post.

When I suggested yesterday that Kellyanne Conway was being “less than loyal” to Donald Trump by sharply criticizing Mitt Romney on the Sunday shows, some readers took issue, surmising that Trump himself had encouraged Conway’s attacks. But today’s Morning Joe reported as Breaking News that two sources at the top of the transition say that Trump is “furious” at Conway for her comments, notably her suggestion that Trump had “betrayed” his supporters by considering Romney for Secretary of State. Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” co-panelists Kimberly Guilfoyle and Juan Williams reacted to the minorities, particularly in the state of Florida, that had voted for President-elect Donald Trump in Tuesday’s election. Guilfoyle noted out Trump had outperformed these voter compared then-GOP presidential nominee former Gov.
