Liam Palmer says his dream is to serve in the British Army. But the military won't accept the 21-year old with gaping holes in his earlobes from ear piercings, followed by stretching the skin with plugs. "I don't regret it. [Wearing ear plugs] was just a part of who I was," Palmer says about his younger counter-culture days of gelled hair, skinny jeans and ear plugs - also known as ear gauges or "tribal" ear piercings. The Oak Ridge Boys sing a song called G.I. Joe & Lillie which is a tribute to Veterans with a very personal touch by singer Joseph S. Bonsall. The Oak Ridge Boys first sang the song while performing at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA, and the audience included his parents as well as forty other veterans from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Home. I have a Benelli SN that I use for regular hunting/trap duties. Was thinking about a home defense shotgun. Would It make more sense to buy a different gun? M500? 870? or just buy a shorter barrel for the SN? I also have 2 45s and a Marlin 30/30 and a Win 7mmMag but I think the wife would be more comfortable with an easy to use Shotgun...
