I'm actually starting to see parallels with Zelaya's situation in Honduras. As I understood that situation: the Honduran legislature said that President Zelaya was violating the constitution and trying to stage a coup, and the Supreme Court agreed, and the military agreed, and the people agreed. So Zelaya was ousted -- and the Left around the world cried big tears and said Zelaya was getting a raw deal and that he had been ousted in some sort of illegal coup.

So, here we are in the US: the people don't want health care reform, the Republicans in the House don't want health care reform, the Republicans in the Senate don't want health care reform, and many Democrats are putting up with reform only after being given generous bribes.

And the Left is crying big tears, saying that the lack of broad support just shows how evil and unfair the world is.
