How dare you say that Pakistan supports terrorism? Pakistan is our partner in combating violent extremism. Just ask the head of their anti-terrorism force, who used to bring Osama bin Laden his morning coffee. And here Pakistan is providing money to terrorists. Would they do that if they supported terrorists? Pakistan has just allocated over $4,000,000 for a Center, a “Knowledge Park” and other initiatives for the Islamist parent body of the banned terrorist group that attacked Mumbai, India, in 2008. The Pakistani provincial government of Punjab included in its budget for fiscal 2013-14 a sum of 61.35 million Pakistani...

Attorneys for the victims of the 2009 Fort Hood massacre said that the alleged shooter’s admission this week that he gunned down his countrymen to defend the Taliban proves that the assault was a terrorist attack and not, as the government has implied, “workplace violence.” Accused gunman Maj. Nidal Hasan announced the revelation Tuesday as he asked the court for a delay in his trial so he could prepare a new “in defense of others” legal strategy. When Judge Col. Tara Osborn asked specifically who he was defending, Hasan said, “The leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban”...

Former NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw strongly suggested Sunday that America is partly to blame for the gruesome terrorists attacks in Boston, because the young, Muslim men involved may have felt “alienated” and angry over U.S. drone strikes on “innocent civilians” in Muslim countries abroad. Brokaw, who has been playing the role of media elder statesman since retiring, went on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with host David Gregory to discuss last week’s Boston bombings, which killed three and injured 183. “There are a couple of things to remember here, David, I think for all of us,” Brokaw intoned. “With the...

The media is asking, “What made those nice boys go bad?” Answer: the same thing that makes all Islamic jihadists go bad: THE QURAN! Have Islamic jihadists hijacked a peaceful religion? Answer: No. Violence is an integral part of Islam. Jihad is Islamic gospel. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either ignorant or lying. Here is a sample of the dozens of calls to violence in the Quran: --Kill unbelievers wherever you find them. (Sura 2:191) --War is ordained by Allah. (Sura 2:216) --Fight in the cause of Allah. (Sura 2:244) --As for those who disbelieve in our communications, we...

There are numerous lessons to take away from the Marathon Massacre, but one of these is that it’s time to rethink our immigration policy, especially when it comes to refugees. The Tsarnaevs came to the United States as refugees. And like so many other Muslim refugees, they brought terror to our shores. Tamerlan fled Chechnya with his family because of the conflict in the early 90s, and lived for years in Kazakhstan before getting to the United States as a refugee.

During the age of Obama, the major media have gone fully AWOL. If they fear that their reporting will lead to inconvenient discoveries, they simply stop their advance, lay down their notebooks, and disappear. This trend began in the Clinton years and picked up momentum after the 1994 electoral debacle, but the Clintons at least worried that the media might turn on them. If Barack Obama ever had any such anxiety, the nonreporting on Fast and Furious, Benghazi and now Sandy Hook has had to reassure him. Sandy Hook is particularly disturbing because the truth is, or at least should...

Executive Summary:On March 21, 2012, a group of Army mutineers appeared on Mali's national television station to declare that they had ended President Amadou Toumani Toure's regime and put in place the “National Committee for the Return of Democracy and the Restoration of State” (CNRDR). In the days following the coup, the leader of the CNRDR – Captain Amadou Sanago, a virtually unknown junior officer, has shown an inability to command discipline from his troops – who have looted the capital. The disappearance of President Toure and the factional infighting of the Army have made the country defenseless against AQIM’s...

A judge suspended the criminal case Monday against a former nursing student accused of murdering seven people at a small Oakland college, ruling that mental illness left him unable to understand the proceedings or assist in his defense. Judge Carrie Panetta made her ruling during a brief hearing in Alameda County Superior Court in Oakland, after receiving reports from two court-appointed psychiatrists who examined 44-year-old One Goh. The psychiatrists found him incompetent to stand trial because of paranoid schizophrenia, Goh's attorney said.

I was 26 years old and barely married for two months when what you see in the pictures above happened. I was in Romania, carrying an AKM-47 as a Navy reservist. I didn't really cared if I was to live or to die - living my entire as a slave under communism really made me indifferent to the perspective of dying. In fact, I was ready to put a bullet in my head if the revolution wouldn't have succeed. My father once told me: son, the single biggest mistake me and your grandad did was to surrender our guns in...

The Newtown killings ought to occasion a little modesty and circumspection. ‘Lullay, Thou little tiny Child, by by, lully, lullay . . . ” The 16th-century Coventry Carol, a mother’s lament for her lost son, is the only song of the season about the other children of Christmas — the first-born of Bethlehem, slaughtered on Herod’s orders after the Magi brought him the not-so-glad tidings that an infant of that city would grow up to be King of the Jews. As Matthew tells it, even in a story of miraculous birth, in the midst of life is death. The Massacre...
