Kuypers, assistant professor of communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at Virginia Tech, reveals a disturbing world of media bias in his new book Bush's War: Media Bias and Justifications for War in a Terrorist Age (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, Inc. 2006). Chucky Putzhead Schumer: Reaganism Is Dead http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1745766/posts?page=1 Chucky Putzhead Schumer: Reaganism Is Dead Daily Politics ^ | November 29, 2006 | Ben Smith Posted on 11/29/2006 9:04:21 AM CST by nwrep Chuck swung by the Daily News for an editorial board meeting this morning, which you'll be able to read more about in tomorrow's News. A couple of tidbits from his broader discussion (forthcoming in book form) of how he sees the shifting terrain and the Democrats' edge struck me: "We're in better shape than [Republicans] are, because they don't realize that Reaganomics is dead, that the Reagan philosophy is...

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com Rush at the Warner Theatre in Washington BEGIN TRANSCRIPT Thank you all very much. Can everybody hear me all right? Good. Before we get started, ladies and gentlemen, to show everybody that I, and all of us, can turn over a new leaf (sigh). By the way, I'm staying at the Four Seasons, and I saw Nancy Pelosi in there this afternoon. (laughter) She looked surprised to see me, but she always looks surprised. (laughter and applause) I was very busy today. I didn't have a chance to turn on the television 'til about four o'clock, and that's the...

Weed out all the usual Al Propaganda pro Democrat spin and you see what General Abizaid and Mr Satterfield basicaly told the Dincons and the Appeasement Now Dems in the US Senate is "Want to fix Iraq, get out of our way". http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/11/15/D8LDMEGG1.html The top U.S. commander in the Middle East warned Congress Wednesday against setting a timetable for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, putting him at odds with resurgent Democrats pressing President Bush to start pulling out of the violence-torn country. Yesterday we reported that the Barnes & Noble website carried an altered cover of the hot new anti-Kerry book, Unfit For Command (Regnery, 2004 -- a Human Events sister company). The title had been changed from Unfit For Command to Fit for Command. Likewise, the Kerry photo on the jacket was been changed to feature a pro-Kerry war photo worthy of a John Wayne movie. (Barnes & Noble has since fixed the error. No explanation has been given.) Now it appears pro-Kerry gremlins have invaded Amazon.com, too. Amazon, thought by many to be the top (and unbiased?) online purveyor of...

By now I'm sure you've heard of www.democraticunderground.com ... a website where your Democrat neighbors can go to trade ideas and thoughts about this year's election. One of our alert listeners lifted a few postings on this website that I thought you might enjoy. Here, my friends, are your loving, compassionate Democratic neighbors at work. Why don't we all sit back and let them chose our next president ... waddaya say? Here's the first post: As we've heard again and again recently, if we are going to beat this bunch of rule breaking GOP misanthropes, we're going to have to...

Party Still Mulling Its Own Ticket The lesser of two evils doesn't seem like such a bad choice these days to some Greens. As the Green Party hashes out its plans for next year's presidential election, some of its activists are urging the party to forgo the race and, instead, throw its support behind one of the Democratic candidates -- all in the hopes of unseating President Bush.It isn't an especially popular idea, but it is being seriously considered."At the moment, everything is on the table and everything is being discussed," said John Strawn, co-chairman of the group's presidential exploratory committee.
