    A pro-illegal alien march and rally held in Dallas on Sunday called Mega March 2017 drew several thousand attendees, way short of the 100,000 planned for by organizers. The turnout pales in comparison to the 2006 Mega March in Dallas that drew an estimated 500,000 and stretched many packed city blocks. In contrast the 2017 Mega March only thinly fills half the lanes of about six blocks as seen from aerial video by KXAS-TV. Aerial photos posted by the Dallas Police show the less than impressive turnout as compared to 2006.

    When Hillary Clinton resigned as Secretary of State in 2013, she negotiated continuing access to classified and top-secret documents for herself and six staffers under the designation "research assistants," according to a powerful senator who notes that Clinton was later deemed "extremely careless" with such information. The staff apparently retained access even after Clinton announced her run for president in April 2015, according to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. The access was ostensibly granted to facilitate work on Clinton's memoir, but Grassley said he was only able to verify it after the Obama administration left the White House. “I have repeatedly...

    The organizers of the Make America Great Again march and rally, Saturday, at Bolsa Chica State Beach are crossing their fingers and hoping for a peaceful event. The march – in support of the president, military, first responders and certain causes – is being billed as a kid-friendly family-oriented event. But it takes place in climate where stark divisions in the public have led to a number of high-profile confrontations when supporters and detractors of the president collide. March organizer Jennifer Sterling said she expects at least 3,000 participants many of whom, she says, will be women, children and elderly....

    A debate held in the British parliament on Thursday regarding human rights violations and the post-coup situation in Turkey has called on the UK government to take a tougher stance on Ankara. Secured by Labour deputy Joan Ryan, the 90-minute debate was the first discussion on Turkey in four and half years and was attended by almost 20 MPs. Opening the debate Ryan criticised Prime Minister Theresa May's recent Ankara visit and said she had signed an arms deal but remained silent on human rights violations. "Business deals can never replace human rights. The government does not have Turkey's human...

    Whether the weak issue is the gender pay gap, or marriage equality, feminists continue to use women as props to keep a dying movement alive for the next cause célèbre In 2015, it was discovered that in the California Assembly, under Democrat control, women made 92 cents on the dollar compared to men. In the Senate, women made 94 cents on the dollar compared to men. Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, and feminist against unequal pay for women, paid her own female employees $15,708.38 less than her male staffers when she was a U.S. senator from New York....

    Q: What is the goal of A Day Without a Woman? A: The goal is to highlight the economic power and significance that women have in the US and global economies, while calling attention to the economic injustices women and gender nonconforming people continue to face. We play an indispensable role in the daily functions of life in all of society, through paid & unpaid, seen & unseen labor. We must have the power to control our bodies and be free from gender norms, expectations and stereotypes. We must free ourselves and our society from the constant awarding of power,...

    The organizers of the massive post-inauguration women’s marches have called on female workers to stay home Wednesday, raising concerns among some supporters of the burgeoning feminist movement that the burden of the protest will fall too heavily on the poor. The debate over “A Day Without a Woman” has been simmering on social media and flared in North Carolina last week, when the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools superintendent decided to cancel classes March 8 because so many staff members plan to participate. While some applauded the school district’s decision, praising it as a gesture of support for its overwhelmingly female...

    Diversity In the past days, scientists have voiced concern over many issues - gag orders for government science agencies, funding freezes, and reversing science based policies. We recognize that these changes will differently and disproportionately affect minority scientists, science advocates, and the global communities impacted by these changes in American policies. Addressing these issues is imperative in understanding how recent developments will affect all people - not simply the most privileged among us. We take seriously your concerns that for this march to be meaningful, we must centralize diversity of the march's organizers at all levels of planning. Diversity must...

    WASHINGTON – They gathered by the thousands to watch history on television. They cheered wildly when President Trump said in his inaugural address that the U.S. will eradicate radical Islamic terrorism from the face of the earth. The next day, they looked on in shock and horror at the violent protests in the streets. They were even more horrified when they saw American women wearing hijabs, Muslim headscarves worn as a sign of piety. But this wasn’t Kansas. It wasn’t even the Midwest. It was the Middle East. Cairo, Egypt. Home to tens of millions of devout Muslims. Cheri Berens...

    Welcome! We want to thank you all for your incredible outpouring of support for this march. We are working to schedule a March for Science on DC and across the United States. We have not settled on a date yet but will do so as quickly as possible and announce it here. Although this will start with a march, we hope to use this as a starting point to take a stand for science in politics. Slashing funding and restricting scientists from communicating their findings (from tax-funded research!) with the public is absurd and cannot be allowed to stand as...

    Due to the time difference here in Egypt, I had to stay up all night for three nights to watch the pre-inauguration, inauguration, and post inauguration activities. Many thousands of Egyptians did the same. Every coffee shop with a satellite dish was packed to the maximum. Egyptians were enthralled and impressed by the peaceful process, but also the pomp and circumstance. The coffee shop roared loudly with cheers when Trump said "radical Islam will be eradicated from the planet". We here in Egypt have experienced many terror attacks and all of us have experienced the death of a friend or family...

    Liberal media outlets bent over backwards to avoid describing the March for Life as pro-life, relying exhaustively terms like “anti-abortion” or “abortion opponents” to describe the hundreds of thousands of pro-life marchers in Washington, D.C. on Friday. “Anti-Abortion Groups Hold Triumphant Rally After Obama Years” was how the Associated Press titled its coverage of the march, later referring to the pro-life marchers as a “politically ascendant anti-abortion movement.” “Vice President Mike Pence told the crowd at the March for Life that anti-abortion policies were a top priority of the new administration,” was how the AP story described Pence’s speech, which...

    Things don’t seem so joyful over at The Joy of Knitting. Elizabeth Poe, the owner of the Franklin, Tennessee shop, published a post on her store’s Facebook page earlier this week that asked customers shopping for yarn in support of the Women’s March to take their business elsewhere. “The vulgarity, vile and evilness of this movement is absolutely despicable,” Poe wrote in a post that was shared over 5,000 times and attracted more than 7,000 comments. She added, “As the owner of this business and a Christian, I have a duty to my customers and my community to promote values...

    Linda Sarsour, a national co-chair of the Women’s March on Washington – whose stated mission is “to send a bold message…that women’s rights are human rights” – is also an outspoken advocate of Islamic Sharia Law that restricts the rights of women, claiming Sharia is “reasonable” and has simply been “misunderstood.” “We will not rest until women have parity and equity at all levels of leadership in society. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all,” the Women’s March mission statement says, in part. {.. snip ..}

    Among the speakers at the Women’s March on Washington was feminist activist Donna Hylton. In 1985, Hylton was convicted in a New York court for her participation in the violent abduction, torture, and murder of Thomas Vigliarolo, a 60-year-old real estate broker. She is in demand on college campuses and elsewhere to speak about life in prison, and on her feminist perspective. Her website does not mention her conviction or the crimes ascribed to her. Four other were convicted as well. -snip According to a 1995 article in Psychology Today, Hylton was part of a gang hired by victim Vigliarolo’s...
