On May 10 a good guy with a gun shot a knife-wielding man who allegedly stabbed four people in a Massachusetts mall. BNO News reports the incident occurred at the Silver City Galleria in Taunton, Massachusetts around 6:30 p.m. The suspect allegedly drove his car into the mall–literally drove in–then got out and began stabbing mall goers. They report four people were stabbed before the knife-wielding man “was shot by an off-duty police officer.”

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Mall of America was used as "a decoy" to start a protest that quickly moved to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and blocked a terminal on a busy holiday travel day, one organizer of the demonstration said. LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Charges have been filed against five people, including three teens, in connection to a group of fights that escalated into a stabbing over the weekend at the Park City Mall. Police say the violence resulted in a 14-year-old girl’s face being slashed, a 20-year-old man cut in the chest, and a 15-year-old girl’s wrist split.

Police say several juveniles and young adults will be charged in connection with melees that left two stabbed at Lancaster's Park City Center shopping mall over the weekend. In a release provided to Pennlive Monday, Lancaster police say officers responded to the mall at 7:04 p.m. Saturday, for reports of a "fight / stabbing." Officers reportedly discovered that as many as three fights had taken place there that evening, all believed to have involved two groups of people.

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Metro Police officers say "multiple" people were injured in a shooting inside Washington Square Mall on the Indianapolis east side. It's happening at 10202 E. Washington Street. Several police cars are currently parked outside the southeast entrance of the mall, near the Target store. Police say three, maybe four, people were struck by gunfire. Their conditions are unknown. The mall, a former Simon Malls property, is now operated by Jones Lang Lasalle. An Indianapolis woman tweeted this post about being injured in the shooting, but so far WTHR has not confirmed details of any injuries.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Authorities say a Fort Bragg soldier has been charged with creating a panic at a North Carolina mall after appearing there with an assault rifle and other military gear. Fayetteville police say Bryan Scott Wolfinger, 25, was arrested and charged with "going armed to the terror of the public" in connection with Thursday's incident at Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville. A statement from the Fayetteville Police Department says Wolfinger was preparing to have photographs taken with the military equipment and rifle when 911 calls were received of an armed male at the mall.

BANGOR, Maine — City police have arrested a 34-year-old woman in connection with two stabbings at the Bangor Mall on Tuesday that sent two people to the hospital, Detective Sgt. David Bushey said Tuesday evening. Elizabeth Ellis, whom police describe as a transient, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, Class B felonies that carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000.
