Let’s begin by defining epistemology simply as the branch of philosophy that asks this essential question about knowledge: “How do you know that?” That job taken care of, we can turn to the topic of materialists and morality. It’s apparently no big deal to materialists (many of whom proclaim themselves intellectuals of one sort or another), but most of them aren’t interested in asking and then answering the epistemological question regarding their moral assertions. To complicate matters, this problem doesn’t represent just an academic exercise; for materialists disproportionately favor the liberal side of the American political spectrum and therefore exhibit...

The elderly man then began a rant against fundamentalists who believe that the Earth was created 6,000 years ago. I asked, “Suppose someone believes the Earth is only 6,000 years old? So what? If he treats people kindly, what difference does it make to you?” The man ignored my question, but reiterated his contempt for this theology. When did it become “liberal” to condemn people because of their theology? Isn’t this an example of bigotry? When did liberalism become a religion that teaches its adherents to be intolerant of other beliefs?

For those who do not know who Bob Beckel is, he is the radical left wing Democrat talking head that makes the circuit as a paid consultant for politicians and Fox News. However, did you know that his brother is a conservative? Not just a conservative, but a Hollywood actor to boot. That's right, Graham Beckel is an actor who is credited by the web site Internet Movie Database (IMDb) with 93 television and movies appearances. He has been in hit TV shows like “Chicago Hope”, “Grey's Anatomy”, and “Monk”. His movie credits include such classics as Paper Chase”, “L.A....

No big surprise here, Democrats enjoying their one party rule domination in my state have pulled off one of the most hypocritical and transparent moves in history. Today 24 Democrats beat out 11 Democrats and 5 Republicans and plan to deliver the bill Deval Patrick so much wants to sign at the behest of his puppet master in DC. We can put the blame entirely on Patrick who caved under the pressure like a flimsy deck of cards. (check out my handy work on Deval, putting photoshop skills to work)

Here is a short clip of Glenn Beck in his usual quirky and odd fashion telling Katie Couric that McCain would have been worse for the country than Obama. I have actually said this and maybe even written it as soon as Obama got elected. On it's face, a progressive hardcore leftist like Obama is dangerous especially in conjunction with the likes of Pelosi and Reid. However, McCain would have been very dangerous for the same reason Bush was dangerous to the right. To truly appreciate what I think Beck is trying to say hinges on the understanding of America's...

Some of you know that I used to work in the news media. Maybe it's that insider viewpoint that makes it especially disgusting to me when I see the state of journalism—and I use the term loosely—today. It wasn't so very long ago that news was news, editorials were editorials, and the line between the two was both clear and sacrosanct. Today, there are times I'm hard pressed to tell the difference. Worse than that are the times where the difference is obvious but the labels are backwards. I like to catch up on the news every morning while I'm...

...At this point, everybody expects the Liberal Inquisition. Before one can even finish the thought preceding any pronouncement critical of anything “progressive”, they must resign themselves to the knowledge that, should they actually let their politically incorrect words fly, they will be branded. The Scarlet R will be upon them. Right now, literally tens of millions of “racists” in America are getting more than a little angry with the whole thing, and rightfully so. But what happens when this “progressive” enthusiasim for the race card is combined with the well-established liberal hatred of orthodox Christianity? Just ask Sarah Palin. “..even...

Writing in Newsweek, Joe Meacham expressed a little remorse that liberals were not a little less vindictive these last eight years. “Words have consequences, too. I wish that more liberals had appreciated this point during the George W. Bush years. It was wrong then to demonize the president, and it is wrong now,” Meacham wrote. And, he warned conservatives: “What begins in vitriol has far too often ended in violence.” But (there is always a but). “I would argue that the 1980s were manageably mad in political terms. Liberals went crazy decrying Ronald Reagan, who was said to be a...

Bush was preparing to give a speech to the annual meeting of the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC. The conference is the event of the year for conservative activists; Republican politicians are required to appear and offer their praise of the conservative movement. Latimer got the assignment to write Bush's speech. Draft in hand, he and a few other writers met with the president in the Oval Office. Bush was decidedly unenthusiastic. "What is this movement you keep talking about in the speech?" the president asked Latimer. Latimer explained that he meant the conservative movement -- the movement that...

Scott Rasmussen’s latest tracking endeavor shows that only 12% believe opposition to Health Care Reform or President Obama’s agenda is racist. We here at this agency didn’t need Scott to tell us that; we have long believed that racism only played a tiny part in what has transpired since 21 January 2009. This space will take it a little further and claim that even most of those who outright charge Racism! only half believe it themselves. Why? Society has evolved. Things like racism just become counter-productive after awhile. Especially after a rigorous self-examination where a majority conclude they never really...

I traveled on the Tea Party Express tour bus as a singer/songwriter, entertainer and spokesperson; 16 states, 34 rallies in two weeks. I experienced vicious racial verbal attacks, not from the tea party protesters. The racial hate expressed against me all came from the left, people who support President Obama's radial socialist agenda. Unfortunately, my deleted email box is littered with numerous messages expressing the following: "You are the dumbest self hating f****** n***** I have ever seen!" These racists are outraged by my opening lines I boldly proclaimed at each rally. "Hello my fellow patriots! I am NOT an...

Dear xxxxxx, This past weekend, at the urging of FOX News mouthpiece Glenn Beck, tens of thousands of tea baggers, birthers and other right-wing conspiracy theorists descended on Washington DC, many to show off their extreme hatred of President Obama and Democratic congressional leaders. Among the signs, characterizing the president as everything from a nazi to an illegal immigrant to the Antichrist, more than a few were spotted hailing Rep. Joe Wilson as a new hero of the right-wing extremist movement for his infamous "You lie!" outburst during the president's recent congressional address. One sign even read, "We Are All...

...Thank the NEA for the state of affairs in education. For more on that matter, you can read Charlotte Iserbyt’s book “The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America” free over at http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/ I’ll let you draw your own conclusions. For me, it just further confirms my suspicions that public education tends to amount to little more than ideological puppy farms, where at the end of at least 12 years of schooling, kids can’t really read, but they know well the progressive party line (envirowhackoism, white guilt, gay supremacy, and Marx is god, and Obama is his prophet). Seriously. When instructors feel...

Once, a long time ago, in the presence of my wife, and a few other females, I called a receiver that dropped a pass after a particularly bruising tackle, a woman. Well, there arose such a clatter, I never used the moniker again. But an honest look at some men, well, you wonder if you can get an exemption from Political Correctness.

Liberals have an amazing ability to commit almost any foible and come out unscathed. The corruption is usually deemed a lapse in judgment by the Watch Dogs of Democracy (more accurately known to Conservatives as The State Controlled Media) The guilty Democrat usually goes on to bigger and better things. Take Charlie Rangel, who has admitted to incorrectly filing his taxes by forgetting to mention hundreds of thousands in revenue. Instead of being reprimanded, Mr. Rangel gets a promotion to Head of the House Ways and Means Committee (the group of house members that actually write the tax code) Mr....

Ah, Democrat hypocrisy. Dost thou know no bounds? We are reminded this morning by Glenn Thrush at Politico: In 2004, Democrats delivered a “Chorus Of Boos” during Bush’s Bush’s State Of The Union when he called for renewal of the Patriot Act., according to the Washington Times. In 2005, Dems howled, hissed and shouted “No!” when Bush pushed for Social Security reform in the SOU: “Foreshadowing the contentiousness of the coming debate, Democrats broke decorum and booed twice,” according to the National Journal. At the time, CNN’s Bill Schneider remarked, “It was unusual. I had never heard it at least at...

I'm hoping buyer's remorse on Obama will finally cause a Jewish shift to the right. One of the most extraordinary features of Barack Obama's victory over John McCain was his capture of 78% of the Jewish vote. To be sure, there was nothing extraordinary about the number itself. Since 1928, the average Jewish vote for the Democrat in presidential elections has been an amazing 75%—far higher than that of any other ethno-religious group. Yet there were reasons to think that it would be different in 2008. The main one was Israel. Despite some slippage in concern for Israel among American...

Michael Steele, J. C. Watts, Jr., Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, and Herman Cain all have one thing in common: They've all been savaged by liberals at some point in their careers. Why is this? Shortly after the announcement of Ted Kennedy's death, I had already received several interview requests. I declined them, not wanting to be uncharitable to the man upon his death. Since then, I've seen the need to step up and provide some clarification. The issue is a remarkable 1983 KGB document on Kennedy, which I published in my 2006 book, The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism (HarperCollins). The document is a May 14, 1983 memo from KGB head Victor Chebrikov to his boss, the odious Soviet General Secretary Yuri Andropov, designated with the highest classification. It concerns a...

Obama adviser: Republicans are "a**holes" By Tony Romm - 09/02/09 09:59 AM ET A video in which White House green jobs adviser Van Jones calls Congressional Republicans (and himself) "a**holes" is quickly making the rounds on the Internet this morning. Jones made the off-the-cuff remark in February, during his lecture at a Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative (BERC) event on the green economy. At the time, the Obama administration had not yet tapped Jones to serve as a special adviser on the White House's Council on Environmental Quality. The slip happened in response to a question about the Democratic Party's...

WASHINGTON -- Rep. Charles Rangel failed to report as much as $1.3 million in outside income -- including up to $1 million for a Harlem building sale -- on financial-disclosure forms he filed between 2002 and 2006, according to newly amended records. The documents also show the embattled chairman of the Ways and Means Committee -- who is being probed by the House Ethics Committee -- failed to reveal a staggering $3 million in various business transactions over the same period. This week, Rangel filed drastically revised financial-disclosure forms reflecting new, higher amounts of outside income and numerous additional business...

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The young senator inspired a new generation of voters with his message of change and extended America's hand to the global community in an effort to promote a different kind of diplomacy. One magazine characterized him as having a "quick charm, the patience to listen, a sure social touch, an interest in knowledge and a greed for facts." A biographer recalled that he "had to touch the secret fears and ambivalent longings of the American heart, divine and speak to the desires of a swiftly changing nation -- his message grounded on his own intuition of some...

At a time in which US student lag behind their foreign counterparts in reading, writing and arithmetic; and at a time in which 250 years of American history is taught in selective sound bites with little focus on the complexity of the event, Governor Quinn signed into law legislation requiring schools to educate students as to the forceful removal of Mexican migrants during the Great Depression. The law, written by State Senator, Willie Delgado (D), states, "that the teaching of history shall include ...

Want to make a liberal crazier? Mention these names! I’ve taken to starting my radio talk show with a name assured to raise the cackles of lefties all over mid-Missouri. As the show breaks, I’m inclined to welcome my audience with two words, “Sarah Palin,” then ruminate about all the red faces, heart palpitations and coffee mugs that are dropped and shattered throughout the heartland. It’s called “pushing their buttons,” catalyzing their derangement through their brainwashed, blurred vision of the world that’s completely tainted by government-run media. Deeds' Speech Shows Contrast with McDonnell More Info Creigh Deeds persuasively made the connection between public education and a strong economy today in a major campaign speech at George Mason University. "This election is about Virginia's future: how we deal with the economic challenges we face and how we make our public schools the best and most innovative we possibly can," Deeds said. The singular most important piece of evidence we have of the candidates' stance on public education is the historic 2004 bipartisan effort that gave a $1.4-billion boost to public schools. Deeds voted for the measure; Bob McDonnell...

"While it is obvious the progressive blogosphere is superior, we are being out-organized on Twitter," said Gina Cooper, a blogger who helped organize Netroots Nation, an annual gathering of online liberal activists that met last week in Pittsburgh. "There is some catching up to do on the progressive side." Tracy Viselli, who attended Netroots Nation, agreed with Cooper and admitted that liberal bloogers are ceding this valuable territory to conservatives. "Twitter is a news funnel," she said. "Conservatives are very tightly knit and getting their message out very well."
