Cliff Kincaid, the editor of Accuracy in Media, has released a copy of his own birth certificate, in order to demonstrate what needs to be done to resolve the growing controversy over the alleged birth certificate of President Barack Obama. "My birth certificate includes the names of my mother and father, my mother's doctor, and the hospital in which I was born," said Kincaid. "This certified copy of an original long form document is what anyone who wants to be president should be prepared to produce." Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, states, "No Person except a...

So, asked Washington Post star political reporter Dana Milbank, are you saying Barack Obama “is a communist”? Milbank was – by default – the most charismatic member of the mainstream media in attendance at America’s Survival, Inc.’s provocative press conference on May 22 in Washington, D.C. But he had not come to the basement of Ebenezer Coffee House to report fairly on the right-wing group’s media event. He came to mock it.

Violent chickens roost on candidates' shoulders: exploring the liberal/Marxist nexus Wes Vernon April 21, 2008 Last week's Clinton/Obama debate opened a new door on an old coalition: What is it about Marxists (violent or otherwise) that attracts liberals (well-meaning or otherwise) to their defense? What is their common goal (to the extent that they have one)? The counterculture sixties Here is the mantra of the Weather Underground, as enunciated by one of its leading disciples: "Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents. That's where it's really at." Who said...

WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Accuracy in Media has released a new report examining charges that a former Carter Administration official is behind a sinister campaign to create a North American Union that will submerge American sovereignty in a trilateral entity consisting of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The report is available at http://www.aim.org. The report was prepared by Cliff Kincaid, editor of Accuracy in Media, who attended a February 16 conference on the subject of developing a North American legal system. Kincaid concludes that the evidence clearly indicates "that a comprehensive process is underway to merge the economies, and...

WASHINGTON, DC, MONDAY, JULY 3, 2006--The D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com and the online watchdog Accuracy in Media (www.AIM.org) held a press conference and demonstration Monday at the Washington, D.C., bureau of the New York Times to protest the newspaper's publishing of stories exposing national security intelligence programs. The two conservative groups called for the prosecution of New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger, Jr., Executive Editor Bill Keller and reporters James Risen and Eric Lichtblau for "giving aid and comfort to al-Qaida." The initial group of 14 FReepers, led by FreeRepublic's National Spokesman Kristinn Taylor, soon swelled to 29 protesters. They...

GEORGE SOROS’ INFILTRATION OF CPAC STATEMENT FOR THE CONGRESSIONAL RECORD CONGRESSMAN MARK E. SOUDER (IN-03) FEBRUARY 8, 2006 Mr. Speaker, George Soros, the radical liberal financier who dedicated himself to defeating President George W. Bush in the last election, has taken a lesson from Jack Abramoff. As much of Abramoff’s pernicious lobbying technique has come to light, we’ve seen how he was adept at manipulating certain conservative organizations to pursue a decidedly anti-conservative agenda, namely the promotion of gambling. By working hand in hand with the Traditional Values Coalition (TVC), for example, he was able in 2000 to undermine conservatives’...

We recently got a call from Don Wycliff of the Chicago Tribune, who we later found out is the "public editor" of that paper. That is supposed to mean that he objectively analyzes complaints about the paper's coverage. He was calling us because we were critical of the media's misreporting of the Iraq War, and we contend that the coverage is a major factor in the military recruiting problem. His bias was apparent in his approach. In his column he did mention a couple examples we cited, but he conveyed his prejudice in how he wrote his piece. Don't take...

Last week, Cliff Kincaid, Editor of the Accuracy In Media Report[1], wrote that at least two in Congress have considered a Rathergate hearing. Actually, the way I heard it was that Rep. Chris Cox requested that House Commerce Committee Chairman Joe Barton (R-TX) schedule a hearing but Barton was not overly enthused with the idea. Rep. Barton is quoted as saying, "A news organization's responsibility is to facts and truth, but the oversight of network news generally is a matter best sorted out by the viewing public and the news media." I wholeheartedly agree. There is a simple reason most...

HARRISON, Ark. (AP) - A lawyer who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge filed by Whitewater prosecutors died Thursday when the small plane he was piloting crashed while trying to land at an airport, officials said. John Haley, 72, who was once the personal lawyer of former Arkansas Gov. Jim Guy Tucker, had recently joined a new law firm. A partner, Peter B. Heister, confirmed Haley's death. One passenger, Farish Kincaid, 70, also was killed in the crash. Authorities said the men, both from the Little Rock area, apparently were due at a business meeting in Harrison. Haley and Tucker...
