They definitely don’t want the truth to be heard.” The crowd also tried to drown out the protestors with chants of “USA! USA!” The protesters were dragged out...

Sorry for the vanity, but I couldn't resist. When the Cincinnati Reds took the field for their final three game series of the season with our Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday, I noticed they were wearing their "Los Rojos" jerseys. "WTF is up with that?", I asked my wife. I'd never seen them before. Or at least never noticed them before. Is this something to force Spanish on the country as a co-equal or superior national tongue? In Ohio? My wife, sweet person that she is, at first tried to ignore me. Just let me enjoy the game, she said. But I...

At 1pm on Monday, Rocio Hernandez Perez and 29 other young people will walk in a convoy across the bridge over the Rio Bravo and head for the Nuevo Laredo border crossing between Mexico and the US. LOS ANGELES — California is challenging the historic status of American citizenship with measures to permit noncitizens to sit on juries and monitor polls for elections in which they cannot vote and to open the practice of law even to those here illegally. It is the leading edge of a national trend that includes granting drivers’ licenses and in-state tuition to illegal immigrants in some states and that suggests legal residency could evolve into an appealing option should immigration legislation fail to produce a path to citizenship. With 3.5 million noncitizens who are legal permanent residents in California, some view...

Secretary of State John Kerry said at Wednesday’s hearing that Arab counties have offered to pay for the entirety of unseating President Bashar al-Assad if the United States took the lead militarily. “With respect to Arab countries offering to bear costs and to assess, the answer is profoundly yes,” Kerry said. “They have. That offer is on the table.” Asked by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) about how much those countries would contribute, Kerry said they have offered to pay for all of a full invasion.

First published on FrontPage Magazine. By Enza Ferreri What we insist on calling “immigration” from the Third World to Western European countries like Britain is a historically new phenomenon, for which a case can be made that other, more appropriate terms should be used — like “colonization” and “invasion.” The definition of “colony,” from which the word “colonization” is derived, is: a) a body of people living in a new territory but maintaining ties with their homeland or b) a number of people coming from the same country, sharing the same ethnic origin or speaking the same language, who...

Contrary to news reports, comprehensive immigration reform is not splintering the Republican Party, Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, tells Newsmax TV. "It's bizarre. I don't find it to be dividing the party," Priebus tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview. "What you have is a consensus in the party that we need immigration reform, and everyone agrees on it." He notes how the issue has brought together members of the party with such divergent views as Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

"They are being told if they come across the border, when they come up to the border and they say certain words, they will be allowed into the country," said a person who did...

An unusual case in Tennessee shows the utility of guns for home defense, as well as the danger of pursuing criminals alone. A 16-year-old girl used her mothers pistol to prevent a criminal from entering the house. From WKRN: Harvell eventually tried entering through one of the home's windows, that's when Davasha Chambers, 16, grabbed her mother's pistol and pointed it at him as he was halfway through the window. The criminal left, and then is when the young woman made a tactical error. She not only pursued the home invader, but she allowed him to get too close...

CLEVELAND - A Cleveland man is being praised by a city councilman for shooting an armed intruder at his Pawnee Avenue home Tuesday. "Whoever shot this dirt bag ought to get a medal," Ward 11 Councilman Mike Polensek said. Police say she was accosted by three men who were trying to force her back into the house at gunpoint. What the intruders apparently didn't know is that Lattimore's fiancé, Johnny Bridges, was watching from the window with his...
