North Korea has accused the United States of trying to “provoke a second Korean War” and says they would perceive interception of the North Korean ship, the Kang Nam, which U.S. officials believe to be carrying illegal weapons, as a declaration of war. Last summer, it was Chinese-made toys, pet food and meat that caused concern. This July 4th holiday, there are new worries about the overly explosive nature of its fireworks.
