"The fact that an individual like Donald Trump, a candidate for the presidency of the United States for the Republican party, has the audacity to continue to gratuitously harass the Latin community makes my blood boil," Ricky wrote. "When did this character assume he could make comments that are racist, absurd, and above all incoherent and ignorant about us Latinos?" He went on to write Trump's intentions were transparent: "Basically tell barbarities and lies to remain relevant in the public opinion, for votes or simply to stay on the media's radar." But it was the attack on Ramos, "one of...

Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul said Tuesday that government workers who were outed by hackers as members of AshleyMadison.com - a website created to facilitate extramarital affairs - should not face punishment. Before he could register that opinion, though, he had to figure out what the heck "Ashley Madison" is. "I keep seeing that headline, but I'm terrible - I don't know what it is," he confessed to a Washington Post reporter when he was asked about the hack of the risqué website, which exposed the contact information of millions of its users. The senator asked, "So, she has done...

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The American public estimates on average that 23% of Americans are gay or lesbian, little changed from Americans' 25% estimate in 2011, and only slightly higher than separate 2002 estimates of the gay and lesbian population. These estimates are many times higher than the 3.8% of the adult population who identified themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender in Gallup Daily tracking in the first four months of this year.

It’s not your fault. It’s the ratio. To all the young, college-educated women out there who feel like Donald Trump will probably become president before they find a decent, eligible man, take comfort. According to author Jon Birger, you’re not imagining things. In “Date-onomics: How Dating Became a Lopsided Numbers Game,” out today, Birger, a former writer for Fortune and Money magazines, crunched demographic, census and other data to show that it really is historically rough out there for the ladies.

FRANKFORT — The Kentucky County Clerks Association will propose removing clerks’ names from the document in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s legalization of same-sex marriage. Overturning the state’s ban on same-sex marriage has prompted Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis and two others to deny licenses to all couples, drawing a federal lawsuit against Davis as well as calls to change the licensing process. Leslie County Clerk James Lewis, chairman of the association’s elections committee, told reporters Tuesday that his group is drafting “a simple solution” to the matter. “You would have the county and the county seat listed...

The Mormon church will continue to support the Boy Scouts of America despite the group’s decision to allow gay troop leaders, say church leaders. After a month of deliberation, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – which is the nation’s largest sponsor of Boy Scout units and continues to restrict gay and lesbian members from participating fully in church activities and leadership – said in a statement Wednesday that it would maintain its 102-year-old association with Scouting following the BSA’s controversial July decision to let gay men lead Scout units. The announcement, which comes after the BSA assured...

CHICAGO – Catholics must avoid being rigid, embrace change, and show mercy, not harsh judgment, toward nontraditional families. That was the message from Chicago’s Archbishop Blase Cupich Sunday afternoon after receiving his pallium, a wool stole that is a piece of liturgical regalia symbolizing his connection to the pope, from the papal ambassador to the United States. In a 15-minute homily, Cupich said bishops and other Catholics should avoid “absolutizing one particular era” by remembering the richness and diversity of their faith. At the same time, the Church should be “open to new avenues and creativity when it comes to...

Following yesterday’s incident in which longtime Univision news anchor and Fusion TV host Jorge Ramos was ejected from a Donald Trump news conference, singer Ricky Martin has penned an op-ed defending Ramos and calling for an end to the attacks against Latinos. The piece was published on Univision and translated to English via Billboard. Martin begins by calling out Trump’s gratuitous harassments against the Latin community. From the beginning his intention was transparent: basically tell barbarities and lies to remain relevant in the public opinion, for votes or simply to stay on the media’s radar. Yesterday’s episode against journalist Jorge...

There are few uglier phrases in the modern conservative lexicon than "anchor baby," not least because of the literal imagery the term brings to mind of a human infant, wrapped in chains and flung overboard to secure a vessel in place. But even as a figure of speech, it's a despicable concept. It refers to the notion that undocumented immigrants exploit the quintessentially American policy of birthright citizenship, which confers the status of citizen to anyone born on U.S. territory, by sneaking across the border to give birth to their children. Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush recently stumbled into the...

Meanwhile, Hillary and Josh Earnest are already using it to push gun control. We haven’t been all over this story all day because we didn’t figure you needed one more conservative news site presuming to give you up-to-the-minute updates. But we’re shaken like everyone else by the murders of Adam Ward and Alison Parker on live television this morning in Virginia. And we’re now learning more about the motives and the twisted mind of Vester Flanagan, who died this afternoon of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Flanagan had worked for a year as a reporter at WDBJ - the very same...

Warped TV reporter Vester Lee Flanagan exasperated bosses with his 'stiff and nervous' delivery, his inability to use a teleprompter - and by wearing a President Obama badge during an election report, Daily Mail Online can reveal. Management at WDBJ dubbed the failed newsman the 'human tape recorder' because he frequently parroted what interviewees had told him rather than doing his own journalism. Flanagan, 41, clashed repeatedly with photojournalists, belittling them in public and intimidating them with his violent temper, according to internal reports. He was also censured for wearing an Obama sticker while recording a segment at a polling...

All public schools across New South Wales have now been banned from viewing a gay parenting documentary following the controversy over a girls high school's decision for every student to watch the film. NSW Education Minister Adrian Piccoli personally stepped in to stop Burwood Girls High School's special screening of Gayby Baby for all 1200 students during third and fourth periods this Friday after some parents are believed to have been upset by the decision to show the movie. Going one significant step further on Wednesday afternoon, Mr Piccoli enforced a state-wide ban preventing all public schools being able to...

The man who killed two journalists on live television in Virginia sent a suicide note to ABC News claiming the killings were in response to the shootings at a Charleston, SC church that killed 9 people in June. Bryce Williams, AKA Vester Lee Flanagan, contacted ABC News several times over the last several weeks saying he wanted to pitch a story to them. He never gave them an idea what the story was. Then today, Williams faxed what he called a “suicide note” where he claimed the shooting of the reporters was a response to the Charleston killings and that...

Flanagan sent ABC News a 23-page fax about two hours after the shooting, saying his attack was triggered by the June 17 mass shooting at a black church in Charleston, South Carolina, the network said. Nine people were killed, and a white man has been charged in that rampage. The network cited Flanagan as saying he had suffered racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work. He had been attacked by black men and white women, and for being a gay black man, he said.

After a month of deliberation following a vote by the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America to allow openly gay Scout leaders, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that they will go forward with the faith's 102-year association with Scouting, according to a statement released Wednesday morning. The statement came from the church's Council of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, who said the BSA assured the church it would be able to appoint Scout leaders based on the faith's values. "In the resolution adopted on July 27, 2015, and in...

I've already written about the Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume before, but that was before we got a chance to see the actual costume! For just a moment, look at what the LGBT reaction shows about the radical Left. After educating us that men can "feel" like a woman at any time in their lives you would think they would support such an effort on Halloween. Think of it as a one-night trial run! But liberals are incensed even by the very description of the product: The Jenner costume comes with a white padded top, matching shorts, a brunette wig,...
