My dad is BnBlFlag. He had a massive stroke on Wednesday. Prognosis not good, but we are praying for a miracle. He seems to be responding a little bit more this morning than yesterday. He loves this place and spends tons of time here (he's retired). Every time I call him and ask what he's doing he say, "Just doing some Freeping!" Metmom has had allergies and food allergies her entire life. In the last few years they have gotten steadily and progressively worse. WASHINGTON (AFP) – New US jobless claims fell to 550,000 in the past week, the government reported Thursday in a sign of further healing in the critical labor market. The seasonally adjusted number of claims fell by 26,000 in the week to September 5, the Labor Department reported. The figure for weekly claims was better than analyst expectations for 560,000.
