Two videos are posted at Twitchy and GSL in which Angela Giron continues to reinforce why she was recalled in a recent Colorado effort. In an interview clip below, Giron blames the NRA for the Navy Yard shooting. Giron feels the NRA keeps trying to convince people—out of greed—that “more guns equals safety. And in this case in particular, we can look at, it was a Navy Yard. You couldn’t have any more armed people than in that case right there.” Apparently Giron is unaware that the Navy Yard was a gun-free zone thanks to Bill Clinton. Additionally, GatewayPundit reported...

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., after another mass shooting, predictably wasted no time in demanding still more gun control legislation. This week, a killer with a valid ID entered the Washington Navy Yard in southeast D.C., a military facility where 16,000 people -- mostly civilians -- work. He killed 12 people and wounded several others at the Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters, where 3,000 people work. The suspect, Aaron Alexis, who was killed at the scene, was a 34-year-old former Navy reservist, employed by a military contractor after an honorable discharge. It is unclear which of the three firearms found near...

If you consider the deadliest mass shootings in American history -- at this point, shootings with 12 or more fatalities -- you'll find the first one happens in 1949. A deranged lone gunman's "Walk of Death" in Camden, New Jersey, claimed the lives of 13 people. The next one happened in 1966, when a lone gunman climbed the bell tower at the University of Texas and began shooting. He killed 16 people. The first half of the list of these horrible shootings, as Rachel pointed out on the show last night, took place over half a century. The second half...

Last spring, as networks like MSNBC launched five months of saturation coverage intended to force gun control on the American people, we said, over and over and over and over again, that there was (tragically) “another Adam Lanza” sitting out there, glued to his TV screen, and planning his own five months of fame.” As it became clear that Congress was not going to pass gun control in April, MSNBC commentators said, almost wistfully, that it would take another mass shooting to reinvigorate their cause. Well, they got the mass shooting they were looking for. On Monday, a discharged Navy...

A man was arrested this afternoon in Union Square after allegedly attacking three people. According to witness Joey Boots, the African-American suspect attacked a white man around 2:30 p.m. "He bloodied him up pretty good," Boots said. When two others came to aide the victim, the suspect allegedly assaulted them as well, and started shouting, "I hate white people." You can see a video of the aftermath below. It's unclear what started the fracas, although the Instagram user who posted the video said, "This dude punched this other dude for walkin past him funny." At least one victim (the first)...

Seattle Mayor Invites Businesses to Post 'Gun-Free Zone' Signs in Their Stores August 19, 2013 - 3:18 PM By Penny Starr (CNSNews.com) – Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, a Democrat, is inviting local merchants to voluntarily post “Gun Free Zone” signs in their businesses, letting customers who have guns know they should shop elsewhere. “We are here to support businesses that do not wish to have guns on their premises” McGinn said in a press release issued by Washington CeaseFire, which is partnering with the mayor for the campaign. “The police department regularly enforces trespass laws when a visitor to a...

Police are investigating three possibly related attacks on people by teens on bikes in and around Edgewood Park. The Independent reported Thursday on one such incident, which occurred around 5: 30 p.m. on Friday July 26 along the asphalt road that connects the park’s duck pond to the skateboard rink. A 63-year-old jogger was partway along that road when, he said, four teens on bikes rode passed. One turned around, rolled a bike at him to knock him over, then knocked him down again when he got up. The teens proceeded to punch and kick him, breaking an arm and...

Police in New York City are trying to find a black man wearing a hoodie who is responsible for a horrific attack on a teenage white girl who was stabbed 11 times just steps from her front door. The knife-wielding maniac ambushed Natasha Martinez, 17, as she returned home from working her shift at a local McDonald’s restaurant. Hearing her daughter’s screams, Natasha’s mother, Wendy Martinez, came running outside — and the bloodthirsty attacker fled. “She came home from work, and her body was full of holes,” Wendy Martinez told the New York Daily News. “I was holding her because...

A man who was brutally stabbed by Brooklyn subway slasher Maksim Gelman two years ago had his negligence case against the city dismissed in court yesterday, despite the fact that two transit officers had locked themselves in a motorman's car only a few feet from him at the time of the attack. Gelman stabbed Joseph Lozito in the face, neck, hands and head on an uptown 3 train in February 2011, after fatally stabbing four people and injuring three others in a 28-hour period. Lozito, a father of two and an avid martial arts fan, was able to tackle Gelman...

July 20, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Police have a person of interest directly linked to the shooting of a 6-year-old Chicago girl, and sources say they may end up charging more than one person. "She is fighting for her life as we speak," said Juannakee Kennedy, victim's mother. A little girl's parents appeal for help and for justice. "Please, I know you didn't mean to do this on purpose," Kennedy said. "Please don't go the Ugh life with guilt on your heart. We forgive you. We just want some justice for our baby." Six-year-old Quianna Tompkins is one of two...

Five people were shot when a gunman opened fire on a family near a Brooklyn, N.Y., park Saturday — and some friends suggested the gunplay was retaliation because one of the victims had gone to the cops about a milkshake tossed in his daughter’s face.

Don’t get me wrong; I mourn for Trayvon Martin. It’s a tragedy that any young kid like him will not live to see adulthood. But I don’t blame George Zimmerman for shooting him in self-defense. I blame the corrupt, violent, lifeless, drug and gangsta culture that is breeding generations of Trayvons – kids who are uneducated, devoid of morals, without vision, dreams and aspirations. I blame a political establishment that fosters all of this and lures kids and their parents into dependency on the state. I blame the broader culture that tolerates violence against black people – as long as...

Seven people were killed and at least 41 others were shot in violence that plagued Chicago over Father's Day weekend. Six of the fatalities and 13 other shootings occurred overnight Saturday leading into Father's Day, including the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy. On the Southwest Side, five people were shot, one fatally, in two shootings in the Little Village neighborhood.

The bicyclist doesn’t remember seeing the youths run at him as he pedaled home late Tuesday afternoon on the Metropolitan Branch Trail, but he certainly recalls one knocking him off his bike and at least a dozen others piling on, punching and kicking him in the head. What the 37-year-old can’t understand is why they did it. They didn’t take his $500 bicycle. They ignored his cellphone. They didn’t want the $20 in his wallet. In fact, the victim said, “I didn’t hear a word.” And the lack of apparent motive is haunting the married father of two, who uses...

I just don't understand how John Zawahari could have allegedly shot and killed all those people at Santa Monica College last Friday. After all, not only is murder against the law, the city of Santa Monica has strict gun control laws as does the state of California. And also, according to its website, Santa Monica College is a gun free school. Here's what it says in the website: ______________________________________ Weapons Prohibition on Campus Possessions of firearms or replicas, ammunition, explosives, knives/blades longer than 21/2 inches, other weapons, or fireworks are against the law in the College community or at College...

A semi-automatic assault rifle is again being tied to a US mass shooting, this one a chaotic series of events led by a body-armor-clad man who killed four and wounded five people before being shot and killed by police in a college library in the iconic beachside city of Santa Monica, Calif. The attack marked the first major mass shooting since a bipartisan gun control bill failed in the US Senate in April. The shooting may help efforts to revive the debate about gun control, as well as put focus on ongoing legislative action in some states around allowing students...

A 9-year-old boy fought back against two robbers who broke into his family's home in Brooklyn Monday, slamming a bedroom door against one suspect's arm so hard that the loaded gun he was holding fell to the floor, police said. The boy then picked up the weapon and fired shots, scaring off the would-be robbers. The robbers entered the house on 80th Street in Canarsie at about 6 p.m. and ordered two teenagers inside to get on the floor, according to police. The only other person in the house was the boy, who was upstairs. When one of the suspects...
