The German public broadcaster RBB reported that the information was posted on a Twitter account over a series of days in December leading up to Christmas. Merkel's entire cabinet was targeted as part of a cyberattack that occurred until at least the end of October, according to the German newspaper Bild. Some of the information released included private emails, mobile phone numbers and private addresses. Politicians from all levels, including the European parliament, were affected by the data breach, a government spokesperson said. The Bavarian town of Amberg is in shock after a group of asylum seekers from Afghanistan and Iran rampaged through the city Saturday night. Four attackers aged 17 to 19 randomly beat exiting passengers at the train station, and then moved to the city center to continue their rampage. At least four people have been injured after a man intentionally drove into a crowd of people in western Germany in what appears to have been an attack directed at foreigners. Those hit by the car included Syrian and Afghan citizens, and some were seriously injured.
