During his grudge-airing, redemption-seeking spectacle on Wednesday, Michael Cohen admitted he was in cahoots with Democratic lawmakers prior to giving his congressional testimony. “We spoke with Chairman [Elijah] Cummings and the [Democratic] Party,” Trump’s former lawyer confessed to Representative Jody Hice (R-Ga.). “We spoke with Chairman [Adam] Schiff and his people as well.” Under further questioning by Rep. James Jordan (R-Ohio), Cohen acknowledged he “spoke to Mr. Schiff about topics that were going to be raised at the upcoming hearing.” Jordan clarified that rather than simply discuss the logistics of the hearing, Schiff coached the witness on “what [he was]...

When former astronaut Mark Kelly said last week he would run as a Democrat to try to unseat a sitting Republican U.S. senator in Arizona, the news sent liberal activists scrambling to try to come up with a candidate of their own. Left-wing groups urged Rep. Ruben Gallego, a vocal member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, to join the race to give liberals a more palatable option as they prepare for 2020. Across the country, those same liberal groups are eyeing next year’s elections with anticipation, hoping to prove that stunning primary season upsets in 2018, such as freshman Rep....

Stacey Abrams gave the Democrat Party rebuttal to President Trump’s State of the Union speech last night. The content was predictable and the delivery reasonably competent, but the interesting aspect of the speech was the decision to green screen Abrams and project her image onto video of a nebulous audience, which were apparently standing in a studio in another location, giving the broadcast a weird Photoshopped aura. Compounding his mistake, the director kept the audience image blurred, so that they seemed to loom ominously behind Ms. Abrams, freedom-eating zombies waiting to pounce. Maybe the Democrat Party should get some help...

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was once again reminded that she exaggerated her Native American ancestry and was heckled during a campaign stop in Georgia. While introducing herself to a crowd of about 1,000 supporters in a Lawrenceville high school, a man shouted “Why did you lie?" Warren replied back “Be easy, be easy,” while the crowd chanted her name and clapped. The man was holding up a campaign sign that read “1/2020” as he was quickly escorted out of the building. Warren released DNA results examining her possible Native American ancestry last year in response to criticism...

On Friday's New Day show, CNN co-host John Berman allowed Georgia Democratic Congresswoman Lucy McBath to mislead viewers on a proposed new gun law being considered in Congress as she claimed it would require background checks when purchasing from "licensed" gun dealers. In reality, licensed gun dealers are already required to conduct background checks, and the purpose of the new law is to require private sellers who are unlicensed to also conduct such checks. Berman also brought up the issue of President Donald Trump declaring a national emergency to justify building more border security barriers than Congress will authorize as...

It has been a busy year. We sold our place in Georgia, have been banging away at some short-fused client work, moved to Tennessee, and are in the middle of scouting the location for our new facilities. Been too busy to write much, but wanted to take some time for a long-overdue introduction to Miles Mathis, an interesting guy who came to my attention about three years ago.For those of you who haven’t heard of Miles, here’s a warning: take everything you read about him on the web with a grain of salt. Instead, if thinking-out-of-the-box science and culture are...

She’s a female minority who can’t be held politically accountable for anything because she doesn't hold any office.......There is no other person on the national scene who enjoys more privilege among the national press than Abrams, who lost her bid for Georgia governor last year and refused to accept the result long after the writing was already on the wall. Even if she botches the response on Tuesday, Abrams will still be a hero for having taken on white male Trump. That's because she can expect the national media to frame the conflict as an epic battle between white and...
